ಹಬಕ್ಕೂಕನು 3
1 ಶಿಗ್ಯೋನೋತ ಸ್ವರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಹಬಕ್ಕೂಕನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ.
A Prayer of Habakkuk the prophet upon Shigionoth.
2 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಮಾಡಿರಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ, ನೀನು ರೋಷಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
Jehovah, I heard the report of thee, [and] I feared. Jehovah, revive thy work in the midst of the years, In the midst of the years make [it] known: In wrath remember mercy!
3 ದೇವರು, ತೇಮಾನಿನಿಂದಲೂ; ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರು, ಪಾರಾನ್ ಪರ್ವತದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಂದರು. ಅವರ ಮಹಿಮೆ ಆಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿತು. ಅವರ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿತು.
God came from Teman, And the Holy One from mount Paran. (Selah) His glory covereth the heavens, And the earth is full of his praise.
4 ಅವರ ತೇಜಸ್ಸು ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯದ ಹಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಿರಣಗಳು ಅವರ ಹಸ್ತಗಳಿಂದ ಮಿಂಚಿದವು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಬಲ ಅಡಗಿತ್ತು.
And [his] brightness was as the light; Rays [came forth] from his hand; And there was the hiding of his power.
5 ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಹೋಯಿತು. ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಅವನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿತು.
Before him went the pestilence, And a burning flame went forth at his feet.
6 ಅವರು ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ನೋಡಿ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನಡುಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಪುರಾತನ ಪರ್ವತಗಳು ಸೀಳಿಹೋದವು. ಹಳೆಯ ಕಾಲದ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋದವು. ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ನಿತ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳೇ.
He stood, and measured the earth; He beheld, and discomfited the nations; And the eternal mountains were scattered, The everlasting hills gave way: His ways are everlasting.
7 ಕೂಷಾನಿನ ಡೇರೆಗಳು ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಮಿದ್ಯಾನಿನ ನಿವಾಸಗಳು ವೇದನೆಯಿಂದ ನಡುಗಿದವು.
I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction; The curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.
8 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನದಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ರೌದ್ರಗೊಂಡಿರುವಿರೋ? ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೋಪವಿತ್ತೋ? ನೀವು ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ರಥಗಳನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಿದಾಗ ವಿಜಯಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಾ?
Was Jehovah wrathful with the rivers? Was thine anger against the rivers? Was thy rage against the sea, That thou didst ride upon thy horses, Thy chariots of salvation?
9 ನಿನ್ನ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಹೊರ ತೆಗೆದಿ, ಅನೇಕ ಬಾಣಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕರೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ನದಿಗಳಿಂದ ಸೀಳಿಬಿಡುವೆ.
Thy bow was made naked, The rods [of discipline] sworn according to [thy] word. (Selah) Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.
10 ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ನಡುಗಿದವು; ಜಲಪ್ರವಾಹವು ಹಾದುಹೋಯಿತು; ಸಾಗರವು ಗರ್ಜಿಸಿ; ತನ್ನ ತೆರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತುತ್ತದೆ.
The mountains saw thee, they were in travail: Torrents of waters passed by; The deep uttered its voice, Lifted up its hands on high.
11 ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾರುವ ಬಾಣಗಳ ಬೆಳಗಿಗೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಿಂಚುವ ಈಟಿಯ ಹೊಳಪಿಗೂ ಸೂರ್ಯ ಚಂದ್ರರು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
The sun [and] moon stood still in their habitation, At the light of thine arrows which shot forth, — At the shining of thy glittering spear.
12 ನೀನು ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆದುಹೋಗಿ, ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀಯೆ.
Thou didst march through the land in indignation, Thou didst thresh the nations in anger.
13 ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದಿ. ದುಷ್ಟ ದೇಶದ ನಾಯಕನನ್ನು ನೀನು ತುಳಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿ. ತಲೆಯಿಂದ ಪಾದದವರೆಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೆತ್ತಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿ.
Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, For the salvation of thine anointed; Thou didst smite off the head from the house of the wicked, Laying bare the foundation even to the neck. (Selah)
14 ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸಲು ಅವನ ಯುದ್ಧವೀರರು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ, ಅವನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಭರ್ಜಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಅವನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ತಿವಿದಿ. ಅವರು ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಬಡವರನ್ನು ನುಂಗಲು ಬಂದವರೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲವೇ?
Thou didst strike through with his own spears the head of his leaders: They came out as a whirlwind to scatter me, Whose exulting was as to devour the afflicted secretly.
15 ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮಹಾಜಲಗಳ ಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಡೆದು ಹೋದೆ.
Thou didst walk through the sea with thy horses, The heap of great waters.
16 ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿತು; ಆ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಕದಲಿದವು; ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳು ಕ್ಷಯಗೊಂಡವು; ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ನಡುಗಿದವು; ಆದರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿಮಾಡುವ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಶನ ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾದಿರುವೆನು.
I heard, and my belly trembled; My lips quivered at the voice; Rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in my place, That I might rest in the day of distress, When their invader shall come up against the people.
17 ಅಂಜೂರದ ಗಿಡವು ಚಿಗುರದಿದ್ದರೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಣ್ಣು ಫಲಿಸದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಎಣ್ಣೆಮರಗಳ ಉತ್ಪತ್ತಿಯು ಶೂನ್ಯವಾದರೂ, ಹೊಲಗಳು ಆಹಾರ ಕೊಡದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಕುರಿಹಟ್ಟಿಗಳು ಬರಿದಾಗಿ ಹೋದರೂ, ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದನಕರುಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೂ,
For though the fig-tree shall not blossom, Neither shall fruit be in the vines; The labour of the olive-tree shall fail, And the fields shall yield no food; The flock shall be cut off from the fold, And there shall be no herd in the stalls:
18 ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಿಸುವೆನು.
Yet I will rejoice in Jehovah, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
19 ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಬಲವು. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಜಿಂಕೆಯ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನ, ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದದ್ದು; ನನ್ನ ತಂತಿವಾದ್ಯದೊಡನೆ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.
Jehovah, the Lord, is my strength, And he maketh my feet like hinds' [feet], And he will make me to walk upon my high places. To the chief Musician. On my stringed instruments.
