ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 5
1 ಆದಾಮನ ವಂಶದವರ ದಾಖಲೆಯಿದು: ದೇವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ಹೋಲುವಂತೆ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದರು.
This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in His own likeness.
2 ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣಾಗಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ, ಅವರಿಗೆ “ಮನುಷ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಕರೆದರು.
Male and female He created them, and He blessed them. And in the day they were created, He called them “man.”
3 ಆದಾಮನು ನೂರಮೂವತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾದಾಗ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಹೋಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಸೇತ್” ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son in his own likeness, after his own image; and he named him Seth.
4 ಸೇತನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆದಾಮನು ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು, ಎಂಟುನೂರು ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು.
And after he had become the father of Seth, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
5 ಆದಾಮನು ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಬೈನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
So Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died.
6 ಸೇತನು ನೂರ ಐದು ವರುಷದವನಾದಾಗ ಎನೋಷನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.
When Seth was 105 years old, he became the father of Enosh.
7 ಎನೋಷನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೇತನು ಎಂಟುನೂರ ಏಳು ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ಗಂಡು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇದ್ದರು.
And after he had become the father of Enosh, Seth lived 807 years and had other sons and daughters.
8 ಸೇತನು ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಬೈನೂರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
So Seth lived a total of 912 years, and then he died.
9 ಎನೋಷನು ತೊಂಬತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದವನಾದಾಗ ಕೇನಾನನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.
When Enosh was 90 years old, he became the father of Kenan.
10 ಕೇನಾನನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಎನೋಷನು ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಎಂಟುನೂರ ಹದಿನೈದು ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು.
And after he had become the father of Kenan, Enosh lived 815 years and had other sons and daughters.
11 ಅವನು ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಬೈನೂರ ಐದು ವರುಷ ಬದುಕಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
So Enosh lived a total of 905 years, and then he died.
12 ಕೇನಾನನು ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾದಾಗ, ಅವನಿಂದ ಮಹಲಲೇಲನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
When Kenan was 70 years old, he became the father of Mahalalel.
13 ಕೇನಾನನು ಮಹಲಲೇಲನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಂಟುನೂರ ನಲವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿ, ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.
And after he had become the father of Mahalalel, Kenan lived 840 years and had other sons and daughters.
14 ಕೇನಾನನು ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಬೈನೂರ ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
So Kenan lived a total of 910 years, and then he died.
15 ಮಹಲಲೇಲನು ಅರವತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅವನಿಂದ ಯೆರೆದನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
When Mahalalel was 65 years old, he became the father of Jared.
16 ಯೆರೆದನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಹಲಲೇಲನು ಎಂಟುನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿ ಗಂಡು, ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.
And after he had become the father of Jared, Mahalalel lived 830 years and had other sons and daughters.
17 ಮಹಲಲೇಲನು ಎಂಟುನೂರ ತೊಂಬತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿ ತರುವಾಯ ಸತ್ತನು.
So Mahalalel lived a total of 895 years, and then he died.
18 ಯೆರೆದನು ನೂರ ಅರವತ್ತೆರಡು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅವನಿಂದ ಹನೋಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
When Jared was 162 years old, he became the father of Enoch.
19 ಹನೋಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಯೆರೆದನು ಎಂಟುನೂರು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು. ಅವನಿಂದ ಗಂಡು, ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And after he had become the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.
20 ಯೆರೆದನು ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಬೈನೂರ ಅರವತ್ತೆರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿ, ತರುವಾಯ ಸತ್ತನು.
So Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died.
21 ಹನೋಕನು ಅರವತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅವನಿಂದ ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
When Enoch was 65 years old, he became the father of Methuselah.
22 ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ತರುವಾಯ, ಹನೋಕನು ಮುನ್ನೂರು ವರ್ಷ ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಡೆದನು. ಅವನಿಂದ ಗಂಡು, ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And after he had become the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.
23 ಹನೋಕನು ಒಟ್ಟು ಮುನ್ನೂರ ಅರವತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು.
So Enoch lived a total of 365 years.
24 ದೇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹನೋಕನನ್ನು ದೇವರು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Enoch walked with God, and then he was no more, because God had taken him away.
25 ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನು ನೂರ ಎಂಬತ್ತೇಳು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅವನಿಂದ ಲೆಮೆಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.
When Methuselah was 187 years old, he became the father of Lamech.
26 ಲೆಮೆಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನು ಏಳುನೂರ ಎಂಬತ್ತೆರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು. ಅವನಿಂದ ಗಂಡು, ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
And after he had become the father of Lamech, Methuselah lived 782 years and had other sons and daughters.
27 ಮೆತೂಷೆಲಹನಿಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಒಂಬೈನೂರ ಅರವತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
So Methuselah lived a total of 969 years, and then he died.
28 ಲೆಮೆಕನು ನೂರ ಎಂಬತ್ತೆರಡು ವರ್ಷದವನಾದಾಗ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.
When Lamech was 182 years old, he had a son.
29 ಅವನಿಗೆ, ನೋಹ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟು, “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಶಪಿಸಿದ ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇವನೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಉಪಶಮನಗೊಳಿಸುವನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And he named him Noah, saying, “May this one comfort us in the labor and toil of our hands caused by the ground that the LORD has cursed.”
30 ನೋಹನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಲೆಮೆಕನು ಗಂಡು, ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು, ಐನೂರ ತೊಂಬತ್ತೈದು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು.
And after he had become the father of Noah, Lamech lived 595 years and had other sons and daughters.
31 ಲೆಮೆಕನು ಒಟ್ಟು ಏಳುನೂರ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳು ವರ್ಷ ಬದುಕಿದನು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತನು.
So Lamech lived a total of 777 years, and then he died.
32 ನೋಹನು ಐನೂರು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಆಗ ನೋಹನಿಂದ ಶೇಮ್, ಹಾಮ್, ಯೆಫೆತರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
