ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 46
1 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ತನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು, ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಇಸಾಕನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
And Israel commenced his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.
2 ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಯಾಕೋಬನೇ, ಯಾಕೋಬನೇ,” ಎಂದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು, “ಇಗೋ, ಇದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
And God spoke unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.
3 ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನೇ ದೇವರು, ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ದೇವರು. ನೀನು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗವಾಗಮಾಡುವೆನು.
And he said, I am God, the God of thy father; fear not to go down into Egypt; for a great nation will I make of thee there:
4 ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವೆನು. ನಾನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾನಾನಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಯೋಸೇಫನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅಂತಿಮ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಕಣ್ಣುಮುಚ್ಚುವಾಗ ಇರುವನು,” ಎಂದನು.
I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee up again; and Joseph shall put his hand upon thy eyes.
5 ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಎದ್ದು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟನು. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಫರೋಹನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ರಥಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.
And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
6 ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಯಾಕೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸಮೇತವಾಗಿ ಬಂದನು.
And they took their cattle and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt; Jacob, and all his seed with him:
7 ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ, ಮೊಮ್ಮೊಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಂತೂ ತನ್ನ ಇಡೀ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು.
His sons, and his son's sons with him, his daughters, and his sons' daughters, and all his seed he brought with him into Egypt.
8 ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಎಂದರೆ, ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಹಾಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು: ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲ ಮಗ ರೂಬೇನನು.
And these are the names of the children of Israel, that came into Egypt, Jacob and his sons: the first-born of Jacob, Reuben.
9 ರೂಬೇನನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಹನೋಕ್, ಪಲ್ಲೂ, ಹೆಚ್ರೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ಮೀ ಎಂಬುವರು.
And the sons of Reuben: Chanoch, and Pallu, and Chezron, and Carmi.
10 ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಯೆಮೂಯೇಲ್, ಯಾಮೀನ್, ಓಹದ್, ಯಾಕೀನ್, ಚೋಹರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾನಾನ್ಯಳ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೌಲ ಎಂಬುವರು.
And the sons of Simeon: Yemuel, and Yamin, and Ohad, and Yachin, and Zochar, and Shaul the son of the Canaanitish woman.
11 ಲೇವಿಯ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್, ಕೊಹಾತ್, ಮೆರಾರೀ ಎಂಬುವರು.
And the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kehath, and Merari.
12 ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಏರ್, ಓನಾನ್, ಶೇಲಹ, ಪೆರೆಚ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜೆರಹ. ಆದರೆ ಏರನೂ, ಓನಾನನೂ ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತರು. ಪೆರೆಚನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಹೆಚ್ರೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಮೂಲ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.
And the sons of Judah: 'Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Perez, and Zerach; but 'Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan, and the sons of Perez were Chezron and Chamul.
13 ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ತೋಲಾ, ಪುವ್ವಾ, ಯೋಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಮ್ರೋನ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.
And the sons of Issachar: Tola, and Puvah, and Yob, and Shimron.
14 ಜೆಬುಲೂನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಸೆರೆದ್, ಏಲೋನ್, ಯಹಲೇಲ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.
And the sons of Zebulun: Sered, and Elon, and Yachleel.
15 ಇವರು ಲೇಯಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು. ಆಕೆಯು ಇವರನ್ನೂ, ತನ್ನ ಮಗಳಾದ ದೀನಳನ್ನೂ ಪದ್ದನ್ ಅರಾಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಹೆತ್ತಳು. ಅವನ ಪುತ್ರಪುತ್ರಿಯರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇರಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ.
These are the sons of Leah, whom she bore unto Jacob in Padan-aram, with Dinah his daughter: all the souls of his sons and his daughters were thirty and three.
16 ಗಾದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಚಿಫ್ಯೋನ್, ಹಗ್ಗೀ, ಶೂನೀ, ಎಚ್ಬೋನ್, ಏರೀ, ಅರೋದೀ ಮತ್ತು ಅರೇಲೀ ಎಂಬುವರು.
And the sons of Gad: Ziphyon, and Chaggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, 'Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
17 ಆಶೇರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು: ಇಮ್ನಾ, ಇಷ್ವಾ, ಇಷ್ವೀ, ಬೆರೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರಿಯಾದ ಸೆರಹ. ಬೆರೀಗನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಹೆಬೆರ, ಮಲ್ಕೀಯೇಲ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.
And the sons of Asher: Yimnah, and Yishvah, and Yishvi, and Beriah, and Serach their sister; and the sons of Beriah: Cheber, and Malkiel.
18 ಲಾಬಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಲೇಯಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಜಿಲ್ಪಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಇವರೇ. ಈಕೆಯಿಂದ ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಒಟ್ಟು ಹದಿನಾರು ಮಂದಿ.
These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and she bore these unto Jacob, sixteen souls.
19 ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ರಾಹೇಲಳ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಯೋಸೇಫ್, ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.
The sons of Rachel, Jacob's wife: Joseph and Benjamin.
20 ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೆ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಓನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಯಾಜಕನಾಗಿರುವ ಪೋಟೀಫೆರನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಆಸನತ್ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನನ್ನೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೆತ್ತಳು.
And there were born unto Joseph in the land of Egypt Menasseh and Ephraim, whom Assenath the daughter of Poti-phera', the priest of On, bore unto him.
21 ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಬೆಳ, ಬೆಕೆರ್, ಅಷ್ಬೇಲ್, ಗೇರಾ, ನಾಮಾನ್, ಏಹೀ, ರೋಷ್, ಮುಪ್ಪೀಮ್, ಹುಪ್ಪೀಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ದ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.
And the sons of Benjamin: Bela', and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Echi, and Rosh, Muppim and Chuppim, and Ard.
22 ಇವರು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ರಾಹೇಲಳ ಪುತ್ರರು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಮಂದಿ.
These are the sons of Rachel, that were born to Jacob: in all fourteen souls.
23 ದಾನನ ಮಗನು: ಹುಶೀಮನು.
And the son of Dan: Chushim.
24 ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯ ಪುತ್ರರು: ಯಹಚೇಲ, ಗೂನೀ, ಯೇಚೆರ್, ಶಿಲ್ಲೇಮ್ ಎಂಬುವರು.
And the sons of Naphtali: Yachzeel, and Guni, and Yezer, and Shillem.
25 ಇವರು ಲಾಬಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗಳಾದ ರಾಹೇಲಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಬಿಲ್ಹಳ ಪುತ್ರರು. ಇವರನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಹೆತ್ತಳು. ಇವರು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡಿ ಏಳುಮಂದಿ.
These are the sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave unto Rachel his daughter, and she bore these unto Jacob, in all seven souls.
26 ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಪುತ್ರರ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರಲ್ಲದೆ, ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸಂಗಡ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೋದವರು ಒಟ್ಟು ಅರವತ್ತಾರು ಮಂದಿ.
All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, that came out of his loins, besides the wives of Jacob's sons, were in all sixty and six souls.
27 ಅವರಲ್ಲದೆ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಪುತ್ರರು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮನೆಯವರಾಗಿ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೋದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇರಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ.
And the sons of Joseph, who were born him in Egypt, were two souls; all the souls of the house of Jacob, that came into Egypt, were seventy.
28 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಗೋಷೆನ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಯೆಹೂದನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಗೋಷೆನ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಸೇರಿದರು.
And Judah he sent before him unto Joseph, to direct him beforehand unto Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.
29 ಆಗ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ರಥವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಗೋಷೆನಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು. ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿ, ಅಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡು, ಬಹಳ ಹೊತ್ತಿನವರೆಗೆ ಅತ್ತನು.
And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father, to Goshen; and when he obtained sight of him, he fell on his neck, and wept on his neck a good while.
30 ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೆ, “ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಲು ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಇದ್ದೀಯೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
And Israel said unto Joseph, Let me die now, since I have seen thy face, that thou art yet alive.
31 ಯೋಸೇಫನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೂ, ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೂ, “ನಾನು ಹೋಗಿ ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ, ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ, ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
And Joseph said unto his brothers, and unto his father's house, I will go up, and tell Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brothers and my father's house, who were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;
32 ಅವರು ಕುರಿಕಾಯುವವರು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪಶುಗಳು ಇವೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಕುರಿದನಗಳನ್ನೂ, ತಮಗಿದ್ದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವೆನು.
And the men are shepherds, for they have been owners of cattle; and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, they have brought along.
33 ಫರೋಹನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ, ‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸವೇನು?’ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳುವನು.
And it shall come to pass, if Pharaoh should have you called, and say, What is your occupation?
34 ನೀವು ಅವನಿಗೆ, ‘ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದ ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸರಾದ ನಾವೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರೂ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕುರಿ ಕಾಯುವವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನವರಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನೀವು ಗೋಷೆನ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ನೇಮಿಸುವನು,” ಎಂದನು.
That ye shall say, Owners of cattle have thy servants been from our youth even until now, both we, as also our fathers; in order that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
