ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನು 33

1 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದು:

2 “ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು: ‘ನಾನು ಬಂದು ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ತರುವೆನೋ ಆಗ ಆ ದೇಶದ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಂತದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿ ತಮಗೆ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟರೆ,

3 ಅವನು ಖಡ್ಗವು ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ಕೊಂಬನ್ನೂದಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಲಿ,

4 ಯಾವನು ಕೊಂಬಿನ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅವನನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗವು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಅವನೇ ಹೊಣೆಯಾಗುವನು.

5 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಕೊಂಬಿನ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಯೂ ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ತನ್ನ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ತಾನೇ ಕಾರಣನಾಗುವನು; ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.

6 ಆದರೆ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನು ಬರುವ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಊದದೆ ಜನರನ್ನೂ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸದೆ ಹೋದರೆ, ಆಗ ಖಡ್ಗವು ಬಿದ್ದು ಆ ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ಯಾರನ್ನಾದರೂ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಾಶವಾಗುವನು. ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವನ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನನ್ನೇ ಹೊಣೆಮಾಡುವೆನು.’

7 “ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರಿಗೆ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸು.

8 ಯಾವಾಗ ನಾನು ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೆ, ‘ದುಷ್ಟ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ, ನೀನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಯುವೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನೀನು ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ಅವನ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ಆ ದುಷ್ಟ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಸಾಯಬೇಕಾಗುವದು; ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಹೊಣೆಮಾಡುವೆನು.

9 ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ದುಷ್ಟನನ್ನು ಅವನ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಲು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದರೂ ಅವನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಸಾಯುವನು. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆ.

and you(m. s.) for to warn wicked from way: conduct his to/for to return: repent from her and not to return: repent from way: conduct his he/she/it in/on/with iniquity: crime his to die and you(m. s.) soul your to rescue

10 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು: ‘ನೀವು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಇದನ್ನೇ: “ನಮ್ಮ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದು ನಾವು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹೋದರೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಬದುಕುವೆವು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವಿರಲ್ಲಾ?”’

11 ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು, ‘ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನನಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟನ ಸಾವಿನಿಂದ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಆ ದುಷ್ಟನು ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಜೀವಿಸುವುದಾದರೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷ ಸಿಗುವುದು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಟಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಸಾಯುವುದು ಏಕೆ? ಇದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯ.’

12 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನರಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು: ‘ಒಬ್ಬ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಅವಿಧೇಯನಾದರೆ, ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಹಿಂದಿನ ನೀತಿಯು ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಟ್ಟರೆ, ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಹಿಂದಿನ ದುಷ್ಟತನವು ಖಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ತರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಹಿಂದೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಬದುಕಲು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.’

13 ನಾನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೆ, ನೀನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವಾಗ, ಅವನು ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅವನ ಸ್ವಂತ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಅವನ ಲೆಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವನು.

14 ನಾನು ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೆ, ‘ನೀನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಯುವೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ಅವನು ಪಾಪದಿಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೂ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸಿದರೆ

and in/on/with to say I to/for wicked to die to die and to return: repent from sin his and to make: do justice and righteousness

15 ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನ್ನ ಒತ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ದೋಚಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡದೆ ಜೀವನಾಧಾರವಾದ ನಿಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದರೆ ಅವನು ಸಾಯದೆ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುವನು.

16 ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಅವನ ಲೆಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನು ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೂ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬದುಕುವನು.

17 “ಆದರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗಾದರೋ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವೇ ನೀತಿಯುಕ್ತವಲ್ಲ.

and to say son: descendant/people people your not to measure way: journey Lord and they(masc.) way: journey their not to measure

18 ಯಾವಾಗ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ತನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವನೋ ಅವನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಾಯುವನು.

in/on/with to return: repent righteous from righteousness his and to make: do injustice and to die in/on/with them

19 ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನ್ನ ದುಷ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ನೀತಿನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ಉಳಿಯುವನು.

and in/on/with to return: repent wicked from wickedness his and to make: do justice and righteousness upon them he/she/it to live

20 ಆದರೂ, ‘ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗ ನೀತಿಯುಕ್ತವಲ್ಲ,’ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವೆನು.”

21 ನಮ್ಮ ಸೆರೆಯ ಹನ್ನೆರಡನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಐದನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನೊಬ್ಬನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, “ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ನಾಶವಾಗಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

22 ಆಗ ಅವನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ, ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೈ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಅವನು ಮುಂಜಾನೆ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ತನಕ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆಯಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆದಿತ್ತು. ನಾನು ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

23 ಆಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು:

24 “ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇಶದ ಹಾಳು ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, ‘ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಒಬ್ಬೊಂಟಿಗನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಈ ದೇಶ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತು. ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಬಹಳ ಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದು ದೇಶವು ನಮಗೆ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

25 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ನೀವು ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ರಕ್ತದ ಸಂಗಡ ತಿನ್ನುವಿರಲ್ಲವೇ? ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತಿ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲುವಿರಲ್ಲಾ, ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ನೀವು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೀರಾ?

26 ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಖಡ್ಗದ ಮೇಲೆ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೆರೆಯವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುವಿರಿ. ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ನೀವು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರೇನು?’

27 “ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಹಾಳು ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವವರು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವರು. ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವವರನ್ನು ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಕೋಟೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಗುಹೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವವರು ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾಯುವರು.

28 ನಾನು ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಪಾಳುಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅದರ ಬಲದ ಮಹತ್ತು ತೀರಿಹೋಗುವುದು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರ್ವತಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಯಾರೂ ಅದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

29 ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಸಹ್ಯಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಗೊಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೆಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಯುವರು.’

30 “ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರು ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ನಿಂತು ನಿಜ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು, ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಮಾತೇನೆಂದು ಕೇಳೋಣ ಬನ್ನಿ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

31 ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆ ಇರುವ ನನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತರಂತೆ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಜನರು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ಅನ್ಯಾಯದ ಲಾಭದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವುದು.

32 ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಅವರ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರನು ವಾದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜಾಣತನದಿಂದ ಬಾರಿಸಿ ಮಧುರಸ್ವರದಿಂದ ಹಾಡುವ ಪ್ರೇಮಗೀತೆಗೆ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಆದರೆ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
