ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನು 20
1 ಏಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ, ಐದನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ, ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.
And it came to pass in the seventh year in the fifth month, on the tent of the month, that there came in men of the elders of Israel to enquire of Yahweh, —and they sat before me.
2 ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು,
Then came the word of Yahweh unto me saying: -
3 “ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಕೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿರೋ? ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.’
Son of man Speak thou with the elders of Israel and say unto them, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, To enquire of me, are ye coming in? As I live, verily I will not be enquired of by you, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
4 “ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವೆಯೋ? ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವೆಯೋ? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸು.
Wilt thou judge them, wilt thou judge, O son of man? The abominations of their fathers, let them know:
5 ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಾನೇ” ಎಂದು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
So then thou shalt say unto them Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, In the day when I made choice of Israel, then lifted I up my hand. to the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known to them, in the land of Egypt, - Yea I lifted up my hand to them, saying, I Yahweh, am your God.
6 ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು, ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನೇ ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡಂಥ ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆತಂದೆನು.
In that day, lifted I up my hand to them, to bring them forth out of the land of Egypt, —into a land that I had looked out for them flowing with milk and honey, The beauty, it was of all lands,
7 ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಿ ಬಿಡಿರಿ. ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಾನಾಗಿರುವೆನು.”
And I said unto them. Every one the abomination of his eyes, cast ye away, And with the manufactured gods of Egypt, let it not be that ye defile yourselves: I, Yahweh, am your God.
8 “‘ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು. ನನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟಿನ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ, ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
But they rebelled against me And were not willing to hearken unto me, Every man the abominations of their eyes, they cast not away, And the manufactured gods of Egypt, forsook they not; Therefore spake I of pouring out mine indignation upon them to bring mine anger to an end against them, in the midst of the land of Egypt.
9 ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಯಾರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೋ, ನಾನು ಯಾರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದೆನೋ ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಈ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Howbeit I wrought with effect, for the sake of mine own Name, that it might not be profaned—before the eyes of the nations in whose midst they were, —before whose eyes I made myself known unto them, by bringing them forth out of the land of Egypt.
10 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದು, ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Therefore brought I them forth out of the land of Egypt, —and caused them to come into the desert.
11 ಯಾವ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಬದುಕುವನೋ? ಆ ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆನು.
Then gave I unto them my statutes, And my regulations, caused I them to know, - By the which the man that doeth them shall live.
12 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಾನೇ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನನಗೂ, ಅವರಿಗೂ ಗುರುತಾಗಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.
Moreover also my sabbaths, gave I unto them, to become a sign betwixt me and them, —that it might be known that, I, Yahweh, was hallowing them.
13 “‘ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯನಾಗುವವನು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ಜೀವಿಸುವನು. ನನ್ನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಸುರಿದು, ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
But the house of Israel, rebelled against me, in the desert, In my statutes, walked they not, And my regulations, they rejected By the which the man, that doeth them, shall live, My sabbaths also, they profaned exceedingly. Therefore spake I of pouring out mine indignation upon them in the desert, to make an end of them.
14 ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಯಾರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದೆನೋ, ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Howbeit I wrought with effect for the sake of mine own Name, —that it should not be profaned in the eyes of the nations, in whose eyes I had brought them forth.
15 ಆದರೂ ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವಂಥ ದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿರುವಂಥ ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Yet even I lifted up my hand to them. in the desert, — That I would not bring them into the land which I had given to them flowing with milk and honey, The beauty, it was. of all lands:
16 ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತವಾಗಿ, ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸದೆ ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿ, ನಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು.
Because my regulations, they had rejected. And as for my statutes, they had not walked therein, My sabbaths also, had they profaned; For after their manufactured gods, their heart had been going.
17 ಆದರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಾಶಮಾಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕನಿಕರಿಸಿತು. ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Nevertheless mine eye threw a shield over them that they should not be destroyed; So I made not of them a full end in the desert.
18 ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಅವರ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಅವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ.
But I said unto their children in the desert, In the statutes of your fathers, let it not be that ye walk, And their regulations, let it not be that ye observe, — And with their manufactured gods, let it not be that ye defile yourselves.
19 ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ನಡೆಯಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾಗರೂಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಕೈಗೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಿರಿ.
I, Yahweh, am your God, In my statutes, walk ye, — And my regulations, observe ye and do them;
20 ನನ್ನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿರಿ, ನಾನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎಂದು ಅವು ನಿಮಗೂ ನನಗೂ, ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಗುರುತುಗಳಾಗಿರುವುವು.”
My sabbaths also, hallow ye, — And they shall become a sign betwixt me and you, That it may be known that I Yahweh am your God.
21 “‘ಆದರೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದರು. ಯಾವವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಬದುಕುವನೋ, ಆ ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾಗರೂಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಪಾಲಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದಿರಿ. ಆಗ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಸುರಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನೆಂದೂ, ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ತೀರಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುವೆನೆಂದೂ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me, In my statutes, walked they not, And my regulations, observed they not to do them Wherein the man who shall do them shall live, My sabbaths, they profaned. Therefore spake I of pouring out mine indignation upon them to bring mine anger to an end against them. in the desert.
22 ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂತೆಗೆದು, ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಯಾರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದೆನೋ, ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗದ ಹಾಗೆ, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Howbeit I withdrew my hand, and wrought with effect for the sake of mine own Name, —that it should not be profaned before the eyes of the nations, before whose eyes I had brought them forth:
23 ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚದರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆಂದೂ, ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆಂದೂ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Even, I, lifted up my hand to them in the desert, — That I would disperse them throughout the nations, And scatter them throughout the lands;
24 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯದೆ, ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅಲಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು.
Because my regulations, had they not done And my statutes, they had rejected, My sabbaths also, they had profaned, - And after the manufactured gods of their fathers, were their eyes turned.
25 ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಹಿತವಾದ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರು ಬದುಕಬಾರದ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.
I myself, indeed, suffered them to walk in statutes which were not good, — And regulations in which they could not live.
26 ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಹುತಿಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಲಿಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಗೆಡಿಸಿ, ಕೇವಲ ದುರವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ತಂದೆನು. ಆಗ ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೆಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.’
Yea I let them defile themselves with their gifts, when they caused every firstborn to pass through the fire, -. that I might make them desolate. To the end they might know that, I, am Yahweh.
27 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, ‘ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬಹಳ ಅಪರಾಧಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸಿದರು.
Therefore speak thou unto the house of Israel Son of man, and say unto them, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, — Yet further in this, did your fathers insult me, by the treachery wherewith they dealt treacherously against me;
28 ನಾನು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸೊಂಪಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಸುವಾಸನೆಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಪಾನದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸುರಿದರು.
When I brought them into the land as to which I had lifted up mine hand to give it them, then beheld they every high hill and every tangled tree And offered there their sacrifices, And presented there, their provoking gift, And placed there, their satisfying odour, And poured out there, their drink- offerings.
29 ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ: ನೀವು ಹೋಗುವ ಈ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಏನು? ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೂ ಬಾಮಾ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವರು.’”
Therefore said I unto them, What! a high-place, whereinto ye are entering? And so the name thereof hath been called High-place, until this day.
30 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರೋ? ಅವರ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀರೋ?
Therefore say thou unto the house of Israel. Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Is it in the way of your fathers, ye are defiling yourselves, - And after their abominations, that ye are committing lewdness?
31 ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಾನಗಳನ್ನು ತರುವಾಗಲೂ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವಾಗಲೂ, ನೀವು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಹೀಗಿರುವಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿಸಬೇಕೆ? ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Yea when ye lift up your gifts When ye cause your children to pass through the fire, Ye are defiling yourselves unto all your manufactured gods unto this day, And shall, I, be enquired of by you O house of Israel? As I live, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, Surely I will not be enquired of by you.
32 “‘“ನಾವು ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ದೇಶಗಳವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದು ಮರಕ್ಕೂ ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೂ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಯೋಚನೆಯು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ನೆರವೇರದು.”
And as for that which is rising up on your spirit, it shall, not at all come to pass, In that ye are saying Let us be like the nations Like the families of the lands, By ministering unto Wood and Stone!
33 ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಚಾಚಿದ ತೋಳಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಸುರಿಸಿದ ರೋಷದಿಂದಲೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
As I live, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, Surely, with a strong hand and With an outstretched arm and With outpoured indignation, Will I be king over you;
34 ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಚಾಚಿದ ತೋಳಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಸುರಿಸಿದ ರೋಷದಿಂದಲೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರತಂದು ನೀವು ಚದರಿಹೋಗಿರುವ ದೇಶಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
And I will bring you forth from among the peoples, And gather you together out of the lands, throughout which ye have been dispersed, With a strong hand and With an outstretched arm, and With outpoured indignation;
35 ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನರಿರುವ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯೊಳಗೆ ತಂದು, ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
And I will bring you into the desert of the peoples, —and will contend with you there, face to face.
36 ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿದೆನು. ಈಗಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವೆನು, ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Just as I contended with your fathers in the desert of the land of Egypt, So will I contend with you, Declareth My Lord Yahweh;
37 ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಕೋಲಿನ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವಾಗ, ನನ್ನ ಗಮನವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ತರುತ್ತೇನೆ.
And I will cause you to pass under the rod And will bring you into the bond of the covenant;
38 ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದವರನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅಪರಾಧ ಮಾಡಿದವರನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರು ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶದೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
And will sever from you those who are rebelling and those who are transgressing against me, Out of the land of their sojournings, will I bring them forth, Yet upon the soil of Israel, shall they not enter, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
39 “‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ, ಓ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ಹೋಗಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿರಿ. ಆದರೆ ನಂತರ ನೀವು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೀರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಾನಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ.
But as for you, O house of Israel Thus, saith my Lord. Yahweh, Go. serve every man his own manufactured gods, Yet afterwards, surely Ye shall be ready to hearken unto me, — And my holy name, shall ye profane no more, With your gifts, and With your manufactured gods.
40 ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಉನ್ನತ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವರು. ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತಮ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಫಲವನ್ನೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವೆನು.
For in my holy mountain. In the mountain of the height of Israel, Declareth, My Lord Yahweh, There shall all the house of Israel serve me, all of it, in the land, There will I accept them, and There, will I seek your heave-offerings and the firstfruits of your gifts, in all your holy things:
41 ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರತಂದು, ನೀವು ಚದರಿಸುವ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿಸುವಾಗ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸುವಾಸನೆಯಂತೆ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವೆನು. ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೆಂದು ತೋರಿಸುವೆನು.
As a satisfying odour, will I accept you, Through my bringing you forth from among the peoples, And gathering you out of the lands, throughout which ye have been dispersed; Thus will I hallow myself in you before the eyes of the nations.
42 ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೆತ್ತಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವಾಗ, ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
So shall ye know that I am Yahweh, Through my bringing you in unto the soil of Israel, Unto the land as to which I lifted up my hand, to give it unto your fathers.
43 ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ನೀವು ಯಾವ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದೀರೋ, ಆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಮಾಡಿದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನೀವು ಅಸಹ್ಯರಾಗುವಿರಿ.
Then shall ye call to mind. there, your own ways and all your own doings, wherewith ye had defiled yourselves, - And ye shall become loathsome in your own sight, for all your wickednesses, which ye have done.
44 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಾಗ, ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ, ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.’”
So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh, Through my dealing effectively with you, for the sake of mine own Name, - Not according to your own wicked ways. Nor according to your corrupted doings. O house of Israel, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
45 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು:
Then came the word of Yahweh unto me. saying:
46 “ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮುಖಮಾಡಿ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಬಯಲು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸು.
Son of man Set thy face the way towards Teman, And drop thy word against the land of the sun, And prophesy unto the forest of the field of the South;
47 ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ: ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳು. ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅದು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಸಿಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಒಣ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುವುದು. ಉರಿಯುವ ಜ್ವಾಲೆ ಆರಿಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಉತ್ತರದವರೆಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮುಖಗಳು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುವುವು.
And thou shalt say to the forest of the South Hear the word of Yahweh, — Thus saith My Lord Yahweh-Behold me! kindling in thee a fire. And it shall devour in thee every moist tree and every dry tree. The spreading flame shall not be quenched, Then shall be scorched thereby all faces from south to north;
48 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನಾನೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿದೆನೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು, ಅದು ಆರಿಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.’”
And all flesh shall see that I. Yahweh have kindled it, - It shall not be quenched.
49 ಆಗ ನಾನು, “ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ‘ಅವನು ಸಾಮ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೇ?’ ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ,” ಎಂದೆನು.
Then said I, Ah! My Lord Yahweh: They are saying of me, Is not he a putter forth of parables?
