ಯೆಹೆಜ್ಕೇಲನು 14
1 ಆಮೇಲೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡರು.
Then came there unto me certain men of the elders of Israel, and sat down before me.
2 ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
3 “ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲೇ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮವಾದ ವಿಘ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಖದ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಬೇಕೇ?
Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and the stumbling-block of their iniquity have they placed before their faces: shall I in any wise let myself be inquired of by them?
4 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು, ‘ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮದ ವಿಘ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನಾನು ಅವರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವೆನು.
Therefore speak with them and say unto them, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Whatever man it be of the house of Israel that setteth up his idols in his heart, and layeth the stumbling-block of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet: I the Lord will answer him, although he cometh with the multitude of his idols;
5 ತಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊರೆದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.’
In order that I may grasp the house of Israel by their heart, those who are separated from me through all their idols.
6 “ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು, ‘ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಟ್ಟು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನೀವಾಗಿಯೇ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿರಿ.
Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Return, and cause [your heart] to turn away from your idols: and from all your abominations turn away your faces.
7 “‘ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ವಿದೇಶಿಗಳಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ, ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಗಲಿ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪಾಪಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಆ ವಿಘ್ನವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ಅವನ ಮೂಲಕ ದೈವೋತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನಾನೇ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವೆನು.
For whatever man it be of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, that separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and layeth the stumbling-block of his iniquity before his face, and then cometh to the prophet to inquire through him of me: I the Lord will answer him through my word;
8 ನಾನು ಅಂಥವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಹುಕೋಪಗೊಂಡು, ಅವನನ್ನು ಗುರುತನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಗಾದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.
And I will set my face against that man, and will make him an astonishment for a sign and for proverbs, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
9 “‘ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಮೋಸಹೋಗಿ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನಾನೇ ಆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಅವನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಚಾಚಿ, ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.
And when the prophet suffereth himself to be deceived, and he speaketh a word: I the Lord have suffered that prophet to be deceived: and I will stretch out my hand against him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
10 ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮದ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊರುವರು. ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವವನ ದಂಡನೆಯು ಹೇಗೆಯೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗೆ ದಂಡನೆಯೂ ಇರುವುದು.
And they shall bear their guilt: as the guilt of the inquirer is, so shall the guilt of the prophet be;
11 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗದೇ, ತಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧರಾಗದೆ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾಗಿರುವರು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಾನು ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು, ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.’”
In order that the house of Israel may go no more astray by not following me, and not pollute themselves any more with all their transgressions; but that they may become unto me a people, and I may be unto them a God, saith the Lord Eternal.
12 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು:
And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
13 “ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ದೇಶವು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅಪರಾಧದಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದೆ, ನಾನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ, ಅದರ ಜೀವನಾಧಾರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ, ಕ್ಷಾಮವು ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನು.
Son of man, if a land should sin against me by trespassing grievously, and I stretch out my hand against it, and break unto it the staff of bread, and send out famine against it, and cut off from it man and beast;
14 ನೋಹನೂ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೂ ಯೋಬನೂ ಎಂಬ ಈ ಮೂವರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು,” ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
And if there be these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, in the midst of it: these through their righteousness should save but their own soul; saith the Lord Eternal.
15 “ನಾನು ದುಷ್ಟಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಜನಪಡಿಸಿ, ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿ, ಯಾರೂ ಮೃಗಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಹಾದುಹೋಗದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ,
If I cause wild beasts to pass through the land, and they depopulate it, and it becometh desolate, without any one to pass through because of the beasts:
16 ಈ ಮೂರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರೂ, ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ ಅವರು ಪುತ್ರರನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಪುತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಆಗುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ತಾವು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಆದರೆ ದೇಶವು ಹಾಳಾಗುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
These three men [if they were] in it, as I live, saith the Lord Eternal, should not save either sons or daughters: they only should be saved, but the land should be made desolate.
17 “ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಾನು ಆ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ತರಿಸಿ, ‘ಖಡ್ಗವೇ, ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದುಹೋಗು,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಅದು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ, ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ,
Or, if I should bring a sword over that land, and say, The sword shall pass through the land, and I cut off from it man and beast;
18 ಈ ಮೂವರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ, ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ತಾವು ಉಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೇ ಹೊರತು ತಮ್ಮ ಪುತ್ರಪುತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
And if these three men should be in it: as I live, saith the Lord Eternal, they should not save either sons or daughters, but they alone should be saved.
19 “ನಾನು ಆ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಮರಣದಂಡನೆಯಾಗಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವನ್ನು ಸುರಿದು, ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವಾಗ,
Or, if I should send out the pestilence against that land, and pour out my fury over it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast;
20 ನೋಹನೂ, ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೂ, ಯೋಬನೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೇ ಹೊರತು ತಮ್ಮ ಪುತ್ರಪುತ್ರಿಯರನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
And if Noah, Daniel, and Job, should be in the midst of it: as I live, saith the Lord Eternal, they should not save either son or daughter; they through their righteousness should save their own soul.
21 “ನಾನು ಖಡ್ಗ, ಬರಗಾಲ ಕ್ಷಾಮ, ದುಷ್ಟಮೃಗ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳೆಂಬ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ, ಮೃಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಡಿದು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಏನಾಗುವುದು?
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Although I send my four dreadful means of punishment over Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the wild beasts, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast:
22 ಆದರೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪುತ್ರಪುತ್ರಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಹೇಗೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಉಳಿದು ಒಯ್ಯಲಾಗುವರು. ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ನೀವು ಅವರ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಂದ ಕೇಡಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಹೊಂದುವಿರಿ.
Still, behold, there are left therein some that escape who shall be carried forth, both sons and daughters; behold, they are coming forth unto you, and ye will see their way and their doings; and then will ye be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, yea, concerning all that I have brought upon it;
23 ನೀವು ಅವರ ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೋಡುವಾಗ ಅದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗುವುದು; ನಾನು ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ, ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.”
And they will comfort you, when ye see their way and their doings; and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have executed in it, saith the Lord Eternal.
