ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 27
1 ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಜನರಿಗೆ, “ನಾವು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀವು ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು.
And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandment which I command you this day.
2 ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವಾಗ, ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗಿಲಾವು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ,
And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:
3 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಂದರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವಂಥ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವಂತೆ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟುವಾಗ, ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಈ ನಿಯಮದ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕು.
and thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over; that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, as the LORD, the God of thy fathers, hath promised thee.
4 ನೀವು ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಏಬಾಲ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗಿಲಾವು ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕು.
And it shall be when ye are passed over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.
5 ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕು. ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಉಪಕರಣವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬಾರದು.
And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt lift up no iron [tool] upon them.
6 ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕು. ನೀವು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of unhewn stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:
7 ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಸಹಭೋಜನ ಮಾಡಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು.
and thou shalt sacrifice peace offerings, and shalt eat there; and thou shalt rejoice before the LORD thy God.
8 ನೀವು ಆ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಈ ನಿಯಮದ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಹುಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಸಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದರು.
And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.
9 ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೇ, ಶಾಂತರಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಜನಾಂಗವಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Keep silence, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
10 ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗಿ, ನಾನು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವ ಅವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
11 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮೋಶೆ ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
12 “ನೀವು ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಗೆರಿಜೀಮ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲತಕ್ಕವರು ಸಿಮೆಯೋನ್, ಲೇವಿ, ಯೆಹೂದ, ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರ್, ಯೋಸೇಫ, ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ ಮುಂತಾದವರು;
These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are passed over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
13 ಶಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಏಬಾಲ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲತಕ್ಕವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ ರೂಬೇನ್, ಗಾದ್, ಆಶೇರ್, ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್, ದಾನ್, ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ,” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
and these shall stand upon mount Ebal for the curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
14 ಲೇವಿಯರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ,
And the Levites shall answer, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
15 “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿರುವ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಎರಕ ಹೊಯ್ದದ್ದನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು, ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ, ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be the man that maketh a graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and setteth it up in secret. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
16 ಅವರು, “ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸಿದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
17 ಅವರು, “ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನ ಗಡಿ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ಸರಿಸಿದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour’s landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.
18 ಅವರು, “ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಾಣದವನನ್ನು ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.
19 ಅವರು, “ಪರವಾಸಿಗೂ, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನಿಗೂ, ವಿಧವೆಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಬಿಟ್ಟು ತೀರ್ಪು ಹೇಳಿದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that wresteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.
20 ಅವರು, “ಮಲತಾಯಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಅನೈತಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸಿದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that lieth with his father’s wife; because he hath uncovered his father’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.
21 ಅವರು, “ಪಶುಸಂಗಮ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.
22 ಅವರು, “ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮಗಳ ಸಂಗಡವಾಗಲಿ, ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಗಳ ಸಂಗಡವಾಗಲಿ ಅನೈತಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
23 ಅವರು, “ತನ್ನ ಅತ್ತೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಅನೈತಿಕವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.
24 ಅವರು, “ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ರಹಸ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಲೆಮಾಡಿದವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour in secret. And all the people shall say, Amen.
25 ಅವರು, “ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಲಂಚ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.
26 ಅವರು, “ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮದ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರುವವನು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು.
Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
