ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು 3
1 ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಸುಮಾರು 27 ಮೀಟರ್ ಎತ್ತರ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಮಾರು ಎರಡೂವರೆ ಮೀಟರ್ ಅಗಲ ಇರುವ ಒಂದು ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ, ಬಾಬಿಲೋನ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೂರಾ ಎಂಬ ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.
Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was eighty-eight feet seven inches, and its breadth eight feet ten inches: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
2 ಆಮೇಲೆ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಉಪರಾಜರನ್ನೂ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಸ್ಥರನ್ನೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಖಜಾಂಚಿದವರನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ಪಂಡಿತರನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತಗಳ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಾನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿದನು.
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the magistrates, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
3 ಆಗ ಉಪರಾಜರು, ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು, ಅಧಿಕಾರಸ್ಥರು, ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು, ಖಜಾಂಚಿದವರು, ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರು, ಪಂಡಿತರು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತಗಳ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದು, ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತರು.
Then the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the magistrates, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
4 ಆಗ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಿ, “ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೇ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೇ, ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಯವರೇ
Then the herald cried aloud, "To you it is commanded, peoples, nations, and languages,
5 ನೀವು ಕೊಂಬು, ಪಿಳ್ಳಂಗೋವಿ, ತಂಬೂರಿ, ವೀಣೆ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿ, ನಾಗಸ್ವರ ಮೊದಲಾದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ, ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಆರಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು.
that whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up;
6 ಯಾರು ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳದೆ, ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸದೆ ಇರುವರೋ ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕುಲುಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗುವುದು. ಇದು ರಾಜಾಜ್ಞೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
and whoever doesn't fall down and worship shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace."
7 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ತುತೂರಿ, ಕೊಳಲು, ತಂಬೂರಿ, ವೀಣೆ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿ, ನಾಗಸ್ವರ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಕೂಡಲೇ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಯವರು ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು, ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರು.
Therefore at that time, when all the peoples heard the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, all the peoples, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshiped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
8 ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಂಡಿತರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೂರು ಹೊರಿಸಲು ಅರಸನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಬಂದು
Therefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and brought accusation against the Jews.
9 ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನಿಗೆ, “ಅರಸನೇ, ನೀನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬಾಳು.
They answered Nebuchadnezzar the king, "O king, live for ever.
10 ತುತೂರಿ, ಕೊಳಲು, ತಂಬೂರಿ, ವೀಣೆ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗಸ್ವರ ಮುಂತಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಧವಾದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದೂ ಅರಸನು ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
You, O king, have made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image;
11 ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳದೆ ಆರಾಧಿಸದೆ ಇರುವವರನ್ನು ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕುಲುಮೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞೆಮಾಡಿದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ?
and whoever doesn't fall down and worship shall be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
12 ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂತದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಾದ ಕೆಲವರು ಎಂದರೆ ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ನೀನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನಾದರೂ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
There are certain Jews whom you have appointed over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, have not regarded you: they do not serve your gods, nor worship the golden image which you have set up."
13 ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಉಗ್ರಕೋಪವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು.
Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
14 ಆಗ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರೇ, ನೀವು ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸದೆ ನಾನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದೀರಿ ಎಂಬ ಮಾತು ನಿಜವೋ?
Nebuchadnezzar answered them, "Is it on purpose, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you do not serve my god, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
15 ಈಗ ನೀವು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದು ತುತೂರಿ, ಕೊಳಲು, ತಂಬೂರಿ, ವೀಣೆ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿ, ನಾದಸ್ವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಧವಾದ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರೆ ಸರಿ, ಆರಾಧಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕುಲುಮೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಗುವಿರಿ. ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವ ಆ ದೇವರು ಯಾರು?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Now if you are ready whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music to fall down and worship the image which I have made, well: but if you do not worship, you shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that god that shall deliver you out of my hands?"
16 ಆಗ ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನೇ, ಈ ವಿಷಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾವು ನಿನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, "Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
17 ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕುಲುಮೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ಸಮರ್ಥರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅರಸನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು.
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
18 ಆದರೆ ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅವರು ತಪ್ಪಿಸದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅರಸನೇ ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ, ನೀನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿ,” ಎಂದರು.
But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods, nor worship the golden image which you have set up."
19 ಆಗ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಉಗ್ರದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದವನಾಗಿ, ಅವನ ಮುಖಭಾವವು ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬೇರೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಆ ಕುಲುಮೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಧಾರಣವಾದ ಉರಿಗಿಂತ ಏಳರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಉರಿ ಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the expression of his face was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Therefore he spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated.
20 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ಸೈನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರಾದವರಿಗೆ ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕುಲುಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
He commanded certain mighty men who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21 ಆಗ ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಲ್ಯ, ಇಜಾರು, ಮುಂಡಾಸ ಮುಂತಾದ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರಾಗಿರುವಾಗ, ಧಗಧಗನೆ ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕುಲುಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು.
Then these men were bound in their cloaks, trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 ಅರಸನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯು ಅವಸರವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಕುಲುಮೆಯು ಬಹು ಉರಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಲು ಎತ್ತಿದ ಆ ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನೇ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿತು.
Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
23 ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಈ ಮೂವರು ಕಟ್ಟಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಧಗಧಗನೆ ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕುಲುಮೆಯ ನಡುವೆ ಬಿದ್ದರು.
These three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು, ತನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನಾಗಾರರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ನಾವು ಮೂವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದೆವಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ, “ಅರಸನೇ, ಹೌದು ಸತ್ಯ,” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up quickly. He spoke and said to his ministers, "Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?" They answered the king, "True, O king."
25 ಅರಸನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ಇಗೋ, ಕಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಹಾನಿಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವರ ರೂಪವು ದೇವಪುತ್ರನ ಹಾಗಿದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
He answered, "Look, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they are unharmed; and the aspect of the fourth is like a son of the gods."
26 ಆಗ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಧಗಧಗನೆ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಕುಲುಮೆಯ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು, “ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರೇ, ಮಹೋನ್ನತ ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕರೇ, ಹೊರಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ,” ಎಂದನು. ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರು ಬೆಂಕಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said, "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come forth, and come here." Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came forth out of the midst of the fire.
27 ಆಗ ಉಪರಾಜರು, ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು, ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು, ಅರಸನ ಆಲೋಚನಾಗಾರರು, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದು, ಅವರ ಶರೀರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಅಪಾಯವಾಗಿರದೇ ಇರುವುದನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ತಲೆಗೂದಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಸುಡದಿರುವುದನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಅಂಗಿಗಳು ನಾಶವಾಗದಿರುವುದನ್ನೂ, ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ವಾಸನೆಯೂ ಸಹ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದಿರುವುದನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡರು.
The satraps, the prefects, and the governors, and the king's ministers, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies, nor was the hair of their head singed, neither were their trousers changed, nor had the smell of fire passed on them.
28 ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬುವರ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೂತನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು. ಅರಸನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿದರು. ಸ್ವಂತ ದೇವರನ್ನೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಸೇವಿಸದೆ, ಆರಾಧಿಸದೆ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲೂ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾದರು.
Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
29 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಕಲ ಪ್ರಜೆ, ಜನಾಂಗ, ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬುವರ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವರೋ, ಅವರನ್ನು ತುಂಡುತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಅವರ ಮನೆಗಳು ತಿಪ್ಪೆ ಗುಂಡಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಎಂದು ನಾನು ರಾಜಾಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ವಿಧವಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ದೇವರು ಇನ್ಯಾರೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದನು.
Therefore I make a decree, that every people, nation, and language, which speak anything evil against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be reduced to rubble; because there is no other god who is able to deliver in this way."
30 ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಶದ್ರಕ್, ಮೇಶಕ್, ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬುವರನ್ನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಪದವಿಗೆ ತಂದನು.
Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the province of Babylon.
