ಆಮೋಸನು 1
1 ತೆಕೋವದ ಕುರುಬರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದ ಆಮೋಸನು, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೋವಾಷನ ಮಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಭೂಕಂಪಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಮುಂಚೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕಂಡ ದರ್ಶನಗಳು.
The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, —of which (words) he had vision concerning Israel, in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
2 ಆಮೋಸನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ: “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಗರ್ಜಿಸಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಧ್ವನಿ ಗೈಯುವರು. ಕುರುಬರ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲುಗಳು ಬಾಡಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿವೆ, ಕರ್ಮೆಲಿನ ತುದಿಯ ಗಿಡಗಳು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ.”
So then he said—Yahweh, out of Zion, will roar, and, out of Jerusalem, will utter his voice, —and the pastures of the shepherds, shall mourn, and the top of Carmel, be dried up.
3 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಜನರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಮೂರು ಹೌದು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ, ಆಗಬೇಕಾದ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಬಡಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಧಾನ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒಕ್ಕುವಂತೆ, ಅವರು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಡಿದುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Damascus, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because, with threshing instruments of iron, they have threshed Gilead.
4 ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಹಜಾಯೇಲನ ವಂಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು. ಅದು ಬೆನ್ಹದದನ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದು.
Therefore will send a fire, into the house of Hazael, —which shall devour the palaces of Ben- hadad;
5 ನಾನು ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಸಹ ಮುರಿಯುವೆನು. ಆವೆನಿನ ಕಣಿವೆಯಿಂದ ನಿವಾಸಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಬೇತ್ ಏದೆನಿನ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ರಾಜದಂಡ ಹಿಡಿಯುವವನನ್ನೂ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಅರಾಮ್ ಜನರು ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೀರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವರು, ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನುಡಿ.
And I will break the bolt of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant out of the plain of Aven, and the holder of the sceptre out of the house of Eden, —and the people of Syria, shall be exiled, unto Kir, saith Yahweh.
6 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಗಾಜದ ಜನರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಮೂರು ಹೌದು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ, ಆಗಬೇಕಾದ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದು ಎದೋಮಿಗೆ ಮಾರಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Gaza, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their taking into exile the whole body of exiles, to deliver to Edom,
7 ನಾನು ಗಾಜದ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು. ಅದು ಅವರ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದು.
Therefore will I send a fire upon the wall of Gaza, —which shall devour the palaces thereof;
8 ಅಷ್ಡೋದಿನಿಂದ ನಿವಾಸಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅಷ್ಕೆಲೋನಿನಿಂದ ರಾಜದಂಡ ಹಿಡಿಯುವವನನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊನೆಯವರು ಸಾಯುವವರೆಗೂ ನಾನು ಎಕ್ರೋನಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
And I will cut off the inhabitant out of Ashdod, and the holder of the sceptre out of Ashkelon, —and will turn my hand against Ekron, So shall perish the remnant of the Philistines, saith My Lord, Yahweh.
9 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಟೈರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಜನರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಮೂರು ಹೌದು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ, ಆಗಬೇಕಾದ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಸಹೋದರರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಸೆರೆಯಾಳುಗಳ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಎದೋಮಿಗೆ ಮಾರಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Tyre, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their delivering up the whole body of exiles to Edom, and they remembered not the brotherly covenant,
10 ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಟೈರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು. ಅದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದು.”
Therefore will I send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, —which shall devour the palaces thereof.
11 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಎದೋಮಿನವರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಮೂರು ಹೌದು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ, ಆಗಬೇಕಾದ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದನು. ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನ ಕೋಪವು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆತನು ರೌದ್ರವನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡನು.
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of Edom, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because he pursued, with the sword, his brother, and stifled his compassions, and his anger tare in pieces evermore, and, his indignation, kept watch perpetually,
12 ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ತೇಮಾನಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು. ಅದು ಬೊಚ್ರದ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದು.”
Therefore will I send a fire into Teman, —which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
13 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಮೂರು ಹೌದು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ, ಆಗಬೇಕಾದ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತಾರ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ, ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Thus, saith Yahweh, Because of three transgressions of the sons of Ammon, and because of four, will I not turn it back, —Because of their ripping up the pregnant women of Gilead, that they might enlarge their own boundary,
14 ನಾನು ರಬ್ಬದ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುವೆನು. ಅದು ಅದರ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದು. ಆಗ ಯುದ್ಧಾರ್ಭಟವೂ, ಚಂಡಮಾರುತದಂಥ ಪ್ರಚಂಡ ಕಾದಾಟವೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುವು.
Therefore will I kindle a fire upon the wall of Rabbah, which shall devour the palaces thereof, —with a war-cry in the day of battle, with tempest in the day of storm-wind;
15 ಅವರ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರರ ಸಂಗಡ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವನು” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
And Milcom shall go into exile, —he and his rulers together, saith Yahweh.
