ಥೆಸಲೋನಿಕದವರಿಗೆ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ 3
1 ಕೊನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅತಿವೇಗದಿಂದ ಹಬ್ಬಿ ಹರಡುವಂತೆ ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread quickly and be held in honor, just as it was with you.
2 ವಕ್ರಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳ ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಾವು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆಯೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ.
And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men; for not everyone holds to the faith.
3 ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರು, ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೆಡುಕನಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು.
But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
4 ನಾವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದವುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರೆಂತಲೂ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಮಾಡುವಿರೆಂತಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಭರವಸೆಯಿದೆ.
And we have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do what we command.
5 ಕರ್ತ ಯೇಸು ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಿ.
May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
6 ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನಮಗೆ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸುಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸದೆ, ಸೋಮಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಶಿಸ್ತಿನಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುವ ಪ್ರತಿ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಗೆ ನೀವು ದೂರವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from any brother who leads an undisciplined life that is not in keeping with the tradition you received from us.
7 ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಹೇಗೆ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀವೇ ಬಲ್ಲಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ಸೋಮಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not undisciplined among you,
8 ನಾವು ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಯಾರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ನಾವು ಭಾರವಾಗಬಾರದೆಂದು ಹಗಲಿರುಳೂ ಕಷ್ಟದಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರಯಾಸದಿಂದಲೂ ದುಡಿದೆವು.
nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. Instead, in labor and toil, we worked night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you.
9 ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಪೋಷಣೆ ಹೊಂದುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಹಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದಲ್ಲ. ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆದರ್ಶರಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು.
Not that we lack this right, but we wanted to offer ourselves as an example for you to imitate.
10 ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾಗ, “ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲೊಲ್ಲದವನು ಉಣ್ಣಲೂಬಾರದು,” ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೆವು.
For even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “If anyone is unwilling to work, he shall not eat.”
11 ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಯಾವ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇತರರ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ತಲೆಹಾಕಿ ಅಶಿಸ್ತಿನಿಂದ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
Yet we hear that some of you are leading undisciplined lives and accomplishing nothing but being busybodies.
12 ಅಂಥವರು ಶಾಂತವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನೇ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಮಗೆ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
We command and urge such people by our Lord Jesus Christ to begin working quietly to earn their own living.
13 ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನೀವಾದರೋ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಸರಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ.
But as for you, brothers, do not grow weary in well-doing.
14 ಈ ಪತ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೇಳಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಅವರ ಸಹವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಬೇಡಿರಿ.
Take note of anyone who does not obey the instructions we have given in this letter. Do not associate with him, so that he may be ashamed.
15 ಆದರೂ ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ವೈರಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸದೆ, ಜೊತೆ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಿಯೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೇಳಿರಿ.
Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.
16 ನಮಗೆ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸು ಈ ಸಮಾಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವೇ ಸದಾಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಕಲ ವಿಧದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಲಿ. ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರಲಿ.
Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
17 ಪೌಲನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಸ್ವತಃ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬರೆದ ವಂದನೆಯಿದು. ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದೇ ಗುರುತು. ನಾನು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.
This greeting is in my own hand—Paul. This is my mark in every letter; it is the way I write.
18 ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸುಕ್ರಿಸ್ತರ ಕೃಪೆಯು ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.
