ಅರಸುಗಳು - ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಭಾಗ 6
1 ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ಎಲೀಷನಿಗೆ, “ಇಗೋ, ಈಗ ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳವು ನಮಗೆ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಡು,
And they said [the] sons of the prophets to Elisha here! please the place where we [are] dwelling there before you it is [too] cramped for us.
2 ನಾವು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನವರೆಗೂ ಹೋಗಿ, ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಒಂದೊಂದು ತೊಲೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು, ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡುವೆವು,” ಎಂದರು. ಅವನು, “ಹೋಗಿರಿ,” ಎಂದನು.
Let us go please to the Jordan and let us take from there each a beam one and let us make for ourselves there a place to dwell there and he said go.
3 ಆಗ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಎಲೀಷನಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೇವಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರುವಿರಾ?” ಎಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು, “ನಾನು ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
And he said the one be willing please and go with servants your and he said I I will go.
4 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೋದನು. ಅವರು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿದರು.
And he went with them and they came the Jordan towards and they cut down trees.
5 ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮರವನ್ನು ಬೀಳಿಸುವಾಗ ಕೊಡಲಿಯು ನೀರಿನೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಅವನು, “ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ಯಜಮಾನನೇ, ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಸಾಲವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡದ್ದು,” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And it was the one [was] making fall the beam and the iron it fell into the water and he cried out and he said alas! O lord my and it [was] asked.
6 ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು, “ಅದು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತು?” ಎಂದನು. ಅವನು ಎಲೀಷನಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ, ಎಲೀಷನು ಒಂದು ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವು ತೇಲಿತು.
And he said [the] man of God where? did it fall and he showed him the place and he cut off a piece of wood and he threw [it] there towards and he caused to float the iron.
7 ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು, “ನೀನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ,” ಎಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.
And he said lift [it] yourself and he stretched out hand his and he took it.
8 ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಇಂಥಿಂಥ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ದಂಡು ಇಳಿಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
And [the] king of Aram he was fighting against Israel and he consulted servants his saying [will be] to a place of a certain one a certain one encampments my.
9 ಆಗ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ, “ಅಂಥಾ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಹಾದುಹೋಗದೆ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಾಗಿ ಇರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
And he sent [the] man of God to [the] king of Israel saying take care from passing by the place this for there Aram [is] descending.
10 ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿ, ತನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವನು ಹಲವು ಸಾರಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
And he sent [the] king of Israel to the place which he had spoken to him [the] man of God (and he warned him *Q(K)*) and he took care there not one [time] and not two [times].
11 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನ ಹೃದಯವು ಇದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕಳವಳಗೊಂಡು, ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕಡೆಯವನು ಯಾರು? ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?” ಎಂದನು.
And it was enraged [the] heart of [the] king of Aram on the matter this and he called to servants his and he said to them ¿ not will you tell to me who? from [those] who [belong] to us [is] to [the] king of Israel.
12 ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು, “ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ಅರಸನೇ, ಯಾವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಎಲೀಷನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಲಗುವ ಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
And he said one from servants his no O lord my the king for Elisha the prophet who [is] in Israel he tells to [the] king of Israel the words which you speak in [the] chamber of lying down your.
13 ಆಗ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು, “ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೋ ನೋಡಿರಿ,” ಎಂದನು. ಅವನು ದೋತಾನಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
And he said go and see where? [is] he so I may send so I may capture him and it was told to him saying there! in Dothan.
14 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಹಾಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರು.
And he sent there towards horses and chariotry and an army massive and they came night and they surrounded the city.
15 ದೇವರ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಸೇವಕನು ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೊರಟಾಗ, ಕುದುರೆಗಳೂ ರಥಗಳೂ ಉಳ್ಳ ಸೈನ್ಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಎಲೀಷನಿಗೆ, “ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನೇ, ನಾವು ಏನು ಮಾಡುವುದು?” ಎಂದನು.
And he rose early [the] servant of [the] man of God to arise and he went out and there! an army [was] surrounding the city and horse[s] and chariotry and he said servant his to him alas! O lord my how? will we do.
16 ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು, “ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ. ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವವರಿಗಿಂತ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಡೆ ಇರುವವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
And he said may not you be afraid for [are] many [those] who [are] with us more than [those] who [are] them.
17 ಆಗ ಎಲೀಷನು, “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಇವನು ಕಾಣುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆ ಯುವ ಸೇವಕನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಾಗ, ಎಲೀಷನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ರಥಗಳೂ, ಕುದುರೆಗಳೂ ತುಂಬಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಅವನು ಕಂಡನು.
And he prayed Elisha and he said O Yahweh open please eyes his so he may see and he opened Yahweh [the] eyes of the servant and he saw and there! the hill it was full horses and chariotry of fire around Elisha.
18 ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಎಲೀಷನು, “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಈ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕುರುಡರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು. ಎಲೀಷನ ಮಾತಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕುರುಡರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
And they came down to him and he prayed Elisha to Yahweh and he said strike please the nation this with sudden blindness and he struck them with sudden blindness according to [the] word of Elisha.
19 ಆಗ ಎಲೀಷನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಇದು ಆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಸಿದನು.
And he said to them Elisha not this [is] the way and not this [is] the city come after me so let me lead you to the man whom you seek! and he led them Samaria towards.
20 ಅವರು ಸಮಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ, ಎಲೀಷನು, “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಇವರು ಕಾಣುವಂತೆ ಇವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯಿರಿ,” ಎಂದನು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದರು. ಅವರು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರು.
And it was when came they Samaria and he said Elisha O Yahweh open [the] eyes of these [men] so they may see and he opened Yahweh eyes their and they saw and there! [they were] in [the] midst of Samaria.
21 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಎಲೀಷನಿಗೆ, “ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯೇ, ನಾನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಲೋ, ಸಂಹರಿಸಲೋ?” ಎಂದನು.
And he said [the] king of Israel to Elisha when saw he them ¿ will I strike [them] down will I strike [them] down? O father my.
22 ಅದಕ್ಕವನು, “ಸಂಹರಿಸಬೇಡ. ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದವರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತೀಯೋ? ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ, ನೀರನ್ನೂ ಇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಡು. ಅವರು ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿದು ತಮ್ಮ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲಿ,” ಎಂದನು.
And he said not you must strike [them] down ¿ [those] whom you have taken captive by sword your and by bow your [are] you about to strike down put food and water before them so they may eat and they may drink and they may go to master their.
23 ಆಗ ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಔತಣ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ದಂಡುಗಳು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ದಾಳಿಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And he gave a feast for them a feast great and they ate and they drank and he let go them and they went to master their and not they repeated again [the] marauding bands of Aram to come in [the] land of Israel.
24 ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಸಮಯದ ನಂತರ, ಅರಾಮಿನ ಅರಸ ಬೆನ್ಹದದನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ, ಸಮಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆಹಾಕಿದನು.
And it was after thus and he gathered Ben Hadad [the] king of Aram all army his and he went up and he laid siege on Samaria.
25 ಆಗ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬರವಿತ್ತು. ಒಂದು ಕತ್ತೆಯ ತಲೆಯು ಎಂಬತ್ತು ಶೆಕೆಲ್ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗೆ, ಸುಮಾರು ನೂರು ಗ್ರಾಂ ಪಾರಿವಾಳದ ಗೊಬ್ಬರವನ್ನು ಐದು ಶೆಕೆಲ್ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಮಾರಲಾಗುವವರೆಗೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆಹಾಕಿದನು.
And it was a famine great in Samaria and there! [they were] laying siege on it until was [the] head of a donkey for eighty silver and [the] fourth part of the kab (quano *Q(K)*) for five silver.
26 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿ, “ನನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನೇ, ಅರಸನೇ, ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿ,” ಎಂದಳು.
And he was [the] king of Israel passing by on the wall and a woman she cried out to him saying save! O lord my the king.
27 ಅದಕ್ಕವನು, “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ, ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಲಿ? ಕಣದಿಂದಲೋ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಆಲೆಯಿಂದಲೋ?” ಎಂದನು.
And he said may not he save you Yahweh from where? will I save you ¿ from the threshing floor or? from the wine-press.
28 ಅರಸನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ, “ನಿನ್ನ ದುಃಖವೇನು?” ಎಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವಳು, “ಈ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ‘ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವಂತೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಡು, ನಾಳೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನೋಣ,’ ಎಂದಳು.
And he said to her the king what? [is] to you and she said the woman this she said to me give son your so we may eat him this day and son my we will eat tomorrow.
29 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾವು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಬೇಯಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ತಿಂದೆವು. ಮಾರನೆಯ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ, ‘ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವಂತೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಡು,’ ಎಂದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾಳೆ,” ಎಂದಳು.
And we cooked son my and we ate him and I said to her on the day other give son your so we may eat him and she had hidden son her.
30 ಅರಸನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾದುಹೋದನು. ಜನರು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಅವನ ಮೈಮೇಲೆ ಗೋಣಿತಟ್ಟು ಇತ್ತು.
And it was when heard the king [the] words of the woman and he tore clothes his and he [was] passing by on the wall and it saw the people and there! sackcloth [was] on flesh his from inside.
31 ಆಗ ಅವನು, “ಶಾಫಾಟನ ಮಗ ಎಲೀಷನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ, ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಇದರಂತೆಯೂ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಲಿ,” ಎಂದನು.
And he said thus may he do to me God and thus may he add if it will remain standing [the] head of Elisha [the] son of Shaphat on him this day.
32 ಎಲೀಷನು ಊರಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರೊಡನೆ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು. ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಇದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ದೂತನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಅವನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಎಲೀಷನು ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ, “ನೋಡಿರಿ, ಆ ಕೊಲೆಗಾರನ ಮಗನು ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ದೂತನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ದೂತನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ನೀವು ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ, ಅವನು ಒಳಗೆ ಬಾರದಂತೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹಿಡಿಯಿರಿ. ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆಯೇ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅವನೊಡೆಯನ ಕಾಲಿನ ಸಪ್ಪಳ ಕೇಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆಯಲ್ಲವೇ?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And Elisha [was] sitting in house his and the elders [were] sitting with him and he sent a man from to before him before he came the messenger to him and he - he said to the elders ¿ do you see that he has sent [the] son of the murderer this to remove head my look - when comes the messenger shut the door and you will push him with the door ¿ not [is] [the] sound of [the] feet of master his after him.
33 ಎಲೀಷನು ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಆ ದೂತನೂ ಅವನ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದ ಅರಸನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಅರಸನು ಎಲೀಷನಿಗೆ, “ನೋಡು, ಈ ಆಪತ್ತು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದಲೇ ಬಂದದ್ದು. ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನಾನೇಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರಬೇಕು?” ಎಂದನು.
Still he [was] speaking with them and there! the messenger [was] coming down to him and he said here! this the calamity [is] from with Yahweh why? will I wait for Yahweh still.
