ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಭಾಗ 31

1 ಇದಾದನಂತರ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವವರಾದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯೆಹೂದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ, ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು, ಅಶೇರ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು, ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದ, ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್, ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್, ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಉನ್ನತ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕಿದರು. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಆಸ್ತಿಪಾಸ್ತಿಯಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದರು.

Now when all this was finished, all Israel [that were] present went out to the cities of Judah, and broke the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned every man to his possession into their own cities.

2 ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅವನವನ ಸೇವೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯಾಜಕರ, ಲೇವಿಯರ ಸರತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಸೇವಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪಾಳೆಯದ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.

And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt-offerings and for peace-offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.

3 ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಉದಯಕಾಲದ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಮಾವಾಸ್ಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೇಕಾದ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಅರಸನ ಆಸ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಅವನ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.

[He appointed] also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt-offerings, [to wit], for the morning and evening burnt-offerings, and the burnt-offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new-moons, and for the set feasts, as [it is] written in the law of the LORD.

4 ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತರಾಗಿರುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅವನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.

Moreover, he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.

5 ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗಲೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಧಾನ್ಯ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ, ಎಣ್ಣೆ, ಜೇನು, ಹೊಲಗಳ ಹುಟ್ಟುವಳಿ, ಇವುಗಳ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಒಳಗೆ ತಂದರು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸಮಸ್ತ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಶಮಾಂಶದ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ತಂದರು.

And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the first-fruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all [things] they brought in abundantly.

6 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೂದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ದನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕುರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದಶಮಾಂಶ ತಂದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ವಸ್ತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಶಮಾಂಶದ ಪಾಲು ತಂದು, ರಾಶಿರಾಶಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟರು.

And the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated to the LORD their God, and laid [them] by heaps.

7 ಮೂರನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಶಿ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ, ಏಳನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದರು.

In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished [them] in the seventh month.

8 ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಬಂದು ರಾಶಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು.

And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD, and his people Israel.

9 ಆಗ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ರಾಶಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದನು.

Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.

10 ಚಾದೋಕ್ ಸಂತಾನದ ಮುಖ್ಯಯಾಜಕ ಅಜರ್ಯನು, “ಜನರು ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದನ್ನು ಅವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಜೆಗೆ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾವು ಉಂಡು ತೃಪ್ತರಾಗಿ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ರಾಶಿಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ,” ಎಂದನು.

And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since [the people] began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD hath blessed his people; and that which is left [is] this great abundance.

11 ಬಳಿಕ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.

Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the LORD; and they prepared [them],

12 ಅವು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಜನರು ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಆದಾಯದ ದಶಮಾಂಶವನ್ನು ಹಾಗು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮುಡುಪಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಂಚನೆಯಿಂದ ತಂದು, ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಗಳ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇವಿಯನಾದ ಕೋನನ್ಯನು ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಯು ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಸ್ಥಾನದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

And brought in the offerings and the tithes, and the dedicated [things] faithfully: over which Conaniah the Levite [was] ruler, and Shimei his brother [was] the next.

13 ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲ್, ಅಜಜ್ಯ, ನಹತ್, ಅಸಾಯೇಲ್, ಯೆರೀಮೋತ್, ಯೋಜಾಬಾದ್, ಎಲೀಯೇಲ್, ಇಸ್ಮಕ್ಯ, ಮಹತ್, ಬೆನಾಯ, ಇವರು ಕೋನನ್ಯನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಯ ಕೈಕೆಳಗೆ ಆಡಳಿತಗಾರರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅಜರ್ಯನು ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, [were] overseers under the hand of Conaniah and Shimei his brother, at the commandment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.

14 ಲೇವಿಯನಾಗಿರುವ ಇಮ್ನನ ಮಗ ಕೋರೆಯು ಎಂಬ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪಾಲು ಹಂಚುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the porter towards the east, [was] over the free-will-offerings of God, to distribute the oblations of the LORD, and the most holy things.

15 ಇವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಯಾಜಕರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಸರತಿ ಸರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಕಿರಿಯರು ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸಮಾಡದೆ ಪಾಲು ಹಂಚುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಏದೆನನೂ, ಮಿನ್ಯಾಮೀನನೂ, ಯೇಷೂವನ ಶೆಮಾಯನೂ, ಅಮರ್ಯನೂ, ಶೆಕನ್ಯನೂ ಇದ್ದರು.

And next him [were] Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in [their] set office, to give to their brethren by courses, as well to the great as to the small:

16 ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯ ದಾಖಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯ ಮೊದಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಗಂಡು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಸರತಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಅವರವರ ದಿನದ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ,

Besides their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, [even] to every one that entereth into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their service in their charges according to their courses;

17 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯ ಮೊದಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯ ದಾಖಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರವರ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅವರವರ ಸರತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೂ ಅವರ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯ ದಾಖಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ

Both to the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges, by their courses;

18 ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರಿಗೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರಿಗೂ ಪುತ್ರಪುತ್ರಿಯರಿಗೂ ಪಾಲು ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ತಾವು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

And to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness:

19 ಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಗಂಡಸರಿಗೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಖಿತರಾದ ಸಮಸ್ತರಿಗೂ ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ವಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಆರೋನನ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಯ ದಾಖಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಪ್ರತಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು.

Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, [who were] in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites.

20 ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ, ಸರಿಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ, ಸತ್ಯವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸಿದನು.

And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and performed [that which was] good and right and truth before the LORD his God.

21 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿ, ಅವನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದಿದನು.

And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did [it] with all his heart, and prospered.
