ಅರಸುಗಳು - ಪ್ರಥಮ ಭಾಗ 16

1 ಬಾಷನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹನಾನೀಯ ಮಗ ಯೇಹುವಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯ ಬಂತು,

Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,

2 “ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಧೂಳಿನಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಇರಿಸಿದೆನು. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು, ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದೆ.

Forasmuch as I exalted thee from the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

3 ನಾನು ಬಾಷನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮನೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.

Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

4 ಬಾಷನ ಕಡೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗೆ ಸಾಯುವವನನ್ನು ನಾಯಿಗಳು ತಿನ್ನುವುವು. ಅವನ ಕಡೆಯವನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಲದೊಳಗೆ ಸಾಯುವವನನ್ನು ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ತಿನ್ನುವುವು,” ಎಂಬುದೇ ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯ.

Him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the fields shall the fowls of the air eat.

5 ಬಾಷನ ಇತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ, ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೂ, ಅವನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.

Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his might, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

6 ಬಾಷನು ಮೃತನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಸೇರಿದನು. ತಿರ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನ ಮಗ ಏಲನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.

So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah: and Elah his son reigned in his stead.

7 ಬಾಷನು ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮನೆಯವರ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅವನ ಮನೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ಹನಾನೀಯ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಯೇಹುವಿನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯ ಬಂತು.

And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.

8 ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಸನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತಾರನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಷನ ಮಗ ಏಲನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.

In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Israel in Tirzah, two years.

9 ಆದರೆ ತಿರ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಿಕನಾದ ಅರ್ಚನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಕುಡಿದು ಮತ್ತನಾಗಿರುವಾಗ, ಅರ್ಧ ರಥಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಜಿಮ್ರಿಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿದನು.

And his servant Zimri, captain of half [his] chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of [his] house in Tirzah.

10 ಜಿಮ್ರಿಯು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಸನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.

And Zimri went in and smote him, and killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.

11 ಜಿಮ್ರಿಯು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಅವನು ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಲೇ, ಬಾಷನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ, ಅವನ ಬಂಧುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅವನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬ ಗಂಡಸನನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, [that] he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one male, neither of his kinsman, nor of his friends.

12 ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಬಾಷನೂ ಅವನ ಮಗ ಏಲನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, ತಾವು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದಲೂ,

Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke against Baasha, by Jehu the prophet,

13 ತಾವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೂ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೇಹುವಿನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಬಾಷನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ ಆತನ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಜಿಮ್ರಿಯು ಬಾಷನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದನು.

For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.

14 ಏಲನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ, ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.

Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

15 ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಸನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೇಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಮ್ರಿಯು ತಿರ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಏಳು ದಿನ ಆಳಿದನು. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಗಿಬ್ಬೆತೋನಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people [were] encamped against Gibbethon, which [belonged] to the Philistines.

16 ಜಿಮ್ರಿಯು ಒಳಸಂಚುಮಾಡಿ, ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದಿರುವ ದಂಡಿನವರು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅದೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಒಮ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು.

And the people [that were] encamped heard it said, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.

17 ಆಗ ಒಮ್ರಿಯೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಗಿಬ್ಬೆತೋನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ ತಿರ್ಚವನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು.

And Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.

18 ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ವಶವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ, ಜಿಮ್ರಿಯು ಅರಮನೆಯ ಅಂತಃಪುರದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ, ತನ್ನ ಅರಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟು ತಾನೂ ಸತ್ತನು.

And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king's house, and burnt the king's house over him with fire, and died,

19 ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ತಾನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪಾಪಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ಅವನ ಪಾಪದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಆಯಿತು.

For his sins which he sinned in doing evil in the sight of the LORD, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make Israel to sin.

20 ಜಿಮ್ರಿಯ ಇತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ, ಅವನು, ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಳಸಂಚೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.

Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and his treason that he wrought, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

21 ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೊಳಗೆ ಎರಡು ಪಕ್ಷಗಳುಂಟಾದವು, ಅರ್ಧ ಜನರು ಗೀನಾತನ ಮಗ ತಿಬ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರು, ಅರ್ಧ ಜನರು ಒಮ್ರಿಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದರು.

Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri.

22 ಆದರೆ ಒಮ್ರಿಯ ಸಮರ್ಥಕರು ಜಯಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಗೀನಾತನ ಮಗನಾದ ತಿಬ್ನಿಯು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದನು, ಒಮ್ರಿಯು ಅರಸನಾದನು.

But the people that followed Omri prevailed against the people that followed Tibni the son of Ginath: so Tibni died, and Omri reigned.

23 ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಸನ ಮೂವತ್ತೊಂದನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ, ಒಮ್ರಿಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ, ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ವರ್ಷ ತಿರ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳಿದನು.

In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.

24 ಅವನು ಶೆಮೆರ್ ಎಂಬವನಿಗೆ ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಸಮಾರಿಯ ಎಂಬ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡನು. ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ಜಮೀನಿನ ಯಜಮಾನನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶೆಮೆರನ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ತಾನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.

And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.

25 ಆದರೆ ಒಮ್ರಿಯು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ, ತನಗೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ಇದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತ ಕೆಟ್ಟವನಾಗಿ ನಡೆದನು.

But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all that [were] before him.

26 ಅವನು ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಸಕಲ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದವುಗಳಿಂದ ಕೋಪವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಡೆದನು.

For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin with which he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.

27 ಒಮ್ರಿಯು ಮಾಡಿದ ಇತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ, ಅವನು ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.

Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he showed, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

28 ಒಮ್ರಿಯು ಮೃತನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಸೇರಿದನು. ಸಮಾರ್ಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಶವವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಹಾಬನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.

So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.

29 ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಸನ ಮೂವತ್ತೆಂಟನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಮ್ರಿಯ ಮಗ ಅಹಾಬನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೆರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು.

And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.

30 ಒಮ್ರಿಯ ಮಗ ಅಹಾಬನು ತನಗೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ಇದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೆಟ್ಟತನ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that [were] before him.

31 ನೆಬಾಟನ ಮಗ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನ ಪಾಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವುದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಲ್ಪವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅವನು ಸೀದೋನ್ಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಎತ್ಬಾಳನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಬಾಳನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದನು.

And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshiped him.

32 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಾನು ಸಮಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಬಾಳನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಳನಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.

And he erected an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.

33 ಅಹಾಬನು ಅಶೇರ ವಿಗ್ರಹಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅಹಾಬನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೋಪ ಉಕ್ಕುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತನಗೆ ಮುಂಚಿನ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳೆಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

34 ಅವನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇತೇಲಿನ ಹೀಯೇಲನು ಯೆರಿಕೋವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅವನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ, ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಮಗನಾದ ಅಬೀರಾಮನನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಕಿರಿ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೆಗೂಬನನ್ನೂ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.

In his days Hiel the Beth-elite built Jericho: he laid the foundation of it in Abiram his first-born, and set up the gates of it in his youngest [son] Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spoke by Joshua the son of Nun.
