ಯೋಹಾನನು ಬರೆದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ 2
1 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ನೀವು ಪಾಪಮಾಡದಂತೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದರೆ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀತಿವಂತರಾದ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವು ನಮ್ಮ ಪರವಾಗಿ ವಾದಿಸುವ ವಕೀಲರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
My dear children! these things, am I writing unto you, in order that ye may not be committing sin. And, if anyone should commit sin, an Advocate, have we, with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous;
2 ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವ ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಲೋಕದ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಹರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
And, he, is, a propitiation, concerning our sins, —and, not concerning our own only, but, also concerning those of the whole world.
3 ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುವುದರಿಂದಲೇ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.
And, hereby, perceive we, that we understand him, —if, his commandments, we are keeping.
4 ಒಬ್ಬನು, “ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಸತ್ಯವು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲ.
He that saith—I understand him! And, his commandments, is not keeping, is false, and, in him, the truth is not!
5 ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆದರೆ ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಾವು ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇವೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.
But whosoever may be keeping his word, of a truth, in this man, the love of God hath been made perfect. Hereby, perceive we, that, in him, we are.
6 ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವವನು ಯೇಸು ಜೀವಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ತಾನೂ ಜೀವಿಸಬೇಕು.
He that saith, that, in him, he abideth, ought, just as He walked, himself also, to be walking.
7 ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆಯುವುದು ಹೊಸ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಲ್ಲ, ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮಗಿದ್ದ ಹಳೆಯ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಳೆಯ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯು ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯವೇ.
Beloved! no new commandment, am I writing unto you; but an old commandment, which ye have been holding from the beginning: The old commandment is the word which ye have heard.
8 ತಿರುಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆಯುವುದು ಹೊಸ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯೇ. ಇದು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯು ಕಳೆದುಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸತ್ಯವಾದ ಬೆಳಕು ಈಗ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತಲಿದೆ.
Again, a new commandment, am I writing unto you, —which thing is true, in him and in you, because, the darkness, is passing away, and, the real light, already is shining.
9 ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವನು ಈವರೆಗೂ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
He that saith he is, in the light, and hateth, his brother, is, in the darkness, until even now!
10 ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನು ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಆತಂಕವುಳ್ಳದ್ದು ಯಾವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
He that loveth his brother, is abiding, in the light, and, cause of stumbling, in him, is there none.
11 ಆದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವನು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಕತ್ತಲೆಯು ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರುಡು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ತಾನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೋ ಎಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು.
Whereas, he that hateth his brother, in the darkness, dwelleth, and in the darkness, walketh; and knoweth not whither he is drifting, because the, darkness, hath blinded his eyes.
12 ಪ್ರಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪಗಳು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.
I write unto you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven you, for the sake of his name:
13 ತಂದೆಗಳೇ, ಆದಿಯಿಂದ ಇರುವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲವರಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರೇ, ನೀವು ಕೆಡುಕನನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.
I write unto you, fathers, because ye understand him who was from the beginning: I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I have written unto you, little children, because ye understand the Father:
14 ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ನೀವು ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ. ತಂದೆಗಳೇ, ಆದಿಯಿಂದ ಇರುವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬಲ್ಲವರಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರೇ, ನೀವು ಬಲ ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ ನೀವು ಕೆಡುಕನನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye understand him who was from the beginning: I have written you, young men, because ye are, strong, and the word of God, within you, abideth, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
15 ಲೋಕವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವವುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿದರೆ ತಂದೆಯ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Be not loving the world, nor yet the things that are in the world: if anyone be loving the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶರೀರದಾಶೆ, ಕಣ್ಣಿನಾಶೆ, ಜೀವನದ ಗರ್ವ ಇವು ತಂದೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದವುಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಬಂದವುಗಳಾಗಿವೆ.
Because, all that is in the world—the coveting of the flesh, the coveting of the eyes, and the vain grandeur of life—is not of the Father, but is, of the world;
17 ಲೋಕವೂ ಲೋಕದ ಆಶೆಗಳೂ ಗತಿಸಿಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವವನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಜೀವಿಸುವನು. (aiōn g165)
And, the world, passeth away, and the coveting [thereof], but, he that doeth the will of God, endureth unto times age-abiding. (aiōn g165)
18 ಪ್ರಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಇದು ಅಂತ್ಯ ಕಾಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತವಿರೋಧಿಯು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅನೇಕ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತವಿರೋಧಿಗಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಇದು ಕಡೇ ಗಳಿಗೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.
Little children! it is, the last hour; and, just as ye have heard that, an antichrist, is coming, even now, antichrists have become, many, whence we perceive that it is, the last hour:
19 ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮವರಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮವರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಮ್ಮವರಲ್ಲವೆಂಬುದು ತೋರಿಬಂತು.
From among us, they went out, but they were not of us; for, if, of us, they had been, they would in that case have abode with us; but [it came to pass] in order that they might be made manifest, because, all, are not of us.
20 ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದವರಿಂದ ಅಭಿಷೇಕವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
And, ye, have, an anointing, from the Holy One, —Ye all, know:
21 ನೀವು ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದವರೆಂದು ನಾನು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ನೀವು ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ ಯಾವ ಸುಳ್ಳೂ ಸತ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದವರಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದಲೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆದೆನು.
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and because, no falsehood, is, of the truth.
22 ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರನು ಯಾರು? ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿ ಬಂದ ಯೇಸುವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಅಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಯಾವನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನೇ ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರನು. ಅವನೇ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮಗನನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತವಿರೋಧಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Who, is the False One; —save he that denieth that, Jesus, is the Christ? The same, is the Antichrist, —he that denieth the Father and the Son.
23 ಮಗನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುವವನು ತಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಮಗನನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವವನು ತಂದೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
Whosoever denieth the Son, neither hath he, the Father: He that confesseth the Son, hath, the Father also.
24 ನೀವಂತೂ ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀರೋ ಅದು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರಲಿ. ಹಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ನೀವು ಸಹ ಮಗನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಂದೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತೀರಿ.
As for you, what ye have heard from the beginning, in you, let it abide. If, in you, shall abide, that which, from the beginning, ye have heard, ye also, in the Son, and [in] the Father, shall abide.
And, this, is the promise, which he hath promised unto us, —The age-abiding life. (aiōnios g166)
26 ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸುವವರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
These things, have I written unto you, concerning them who would lead you astray.
27 ಆದರೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಿಂದ ನೀವು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಅಭಿಷೇಕವು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಅಭಿಷೇಕವೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವುದು. ಆ ಬೋಧನೆಯು ಸುಳ್ಳಲ್ಲ, ಸತ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
And, as for you, the anointing which ye have received from him, abideth in you, and ye have, no need, that anyone be teaching you; but, as, his anointing, is teaching you, and is, true, and is no falsehood, even just as it hath taught you, abide ye in him.
28 ಪ್ರಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗುವಾಗ ನೀವು ಅವರ ಆಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲು ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಡದೆ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಿರುವಂತೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
And, now, dear children, abide ye in him, in order that, if he be made manifest, we may have boldness, and not be shamed away from him by his presence.
29 ದೇವರು ನೀತಿವಂತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆಂಬುದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಅವರಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿರಬೇಕು.
If ye know that he is, righteous, ye perceive that—whosoever doeth righteousness, of him, hath been born.
