ಕೊರಿಂಥದವರಿಗೆ ಬರೆದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ 3
1 ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನೀವು ದೇವರಾತ್ಮರಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಬಾಳುವವರಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಸುಗಳೂ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕರೂ ಆಗಿರುವಿರೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕಾಯಿತು.
And so, brothers, I could not address you as spiritual men, but as men of the flesh, as infants in Christ.
2 ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಾಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು. ಗಟ್ಟಿ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಈಗಲಾದರೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಲ್ಲ.
I fed you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet able to receive it. Even now you are still not able,
3 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಅಸೂಯೆ, ಜಗಳಗಳು ಇರುವಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಪ್ರಾಪಂಚಿಕರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೇವಲ ಮಾನವರಂತೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೀರಲ್ಲವೇ?
for you are still of the flesh. For where there is jealousy, strife, and division among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving like mere men?
4 ಒಬ್ಬನು, “ನಾನು ಪೌಲನವನು,” ಎಂದು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು, “ನಾನು ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನವನು,” ಎಂದೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ನೀವು ಕೇವಲ ಮಾನವರಂತೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲವೇ?
For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” are you not of the flesh?
5 ಹಾಗಾದರೆ, ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನು ಯಾರು? ಪೌಲನು ಯಾರು? ಅವನವನಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರವರ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ನೀವು ನಂಬಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಅವರು ಕೇವಲ ಸೇವಕರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but servants through whom you believed, as the Lord has assigned to each?
6 ನಾನು ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿದೆನು, ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನು ನೀರು ಹಾಕಿದನು, ಆದರೆ ಬೆಳೆಸಿದವರು ದೇವರೇ.
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.
7 ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ನೆಡುವವನಾಗಲಿ, ನೀರು ಹಾಕುವವನಾಗಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯರಾಗಿರದೆ, ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ದೇವರೇ ಬಹು ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯವಾದವರು.
So then, neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but only God who gives the growth.
8 ನೆಡುವವನೂ ನೀರು ಹಾಕುವವನೂ ಒಂದೇ ಉದ್ದೇಶವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅವನವನ ಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ದೊರೆಯುವುದು.
He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಜೊತೆಕೆಲಸದವರು. ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಹೊಲವೂ ದೇವರ ಕಟ್ಟಡವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
For we are fellow workers of God; you are God's field, God's building.
10 ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಕೃಪೆಗೆ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ, ನಾನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯಂತೆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರ ಹಾಕಿದೆನು. ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ತಾನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
According to the grace of God given to me, like a wise master builder I have laid a foundation, and another builds upon it. But each person must be careful how he builds upon it.
11 ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವೆಂಬ ಆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಹಾಕಲಾರರಷ್ಟೆ.
For no one can lay a foundation other than the one that has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿನ್ನ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ರತ್ನ, ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ, ಹುಲ್ಲು ಅಥವಾ ಜೊಂಡು ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿದರೆ,
If anyone builds upon this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,
13 ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ದಿನವು ಇದನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವಾಗ, ಅವನವನ ಕೆಲಸವು ಏನಾಗಿರುವುದೆಂಬುದು ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗುವುದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುವುದು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಕೆಲಸದ ಯೋಗ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯೇ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು.
his work will become evident, for the Day will make it clear, because it is revealed by fire. And the fire will test each person's work and reveal what sort of work it is.
14 ಒಬ್ಬನು ಆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಉಳಿದರೆ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವುದು.
If the work that anyone has built remains, he will receive a reward.
15 ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋದರೆ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗುವುದು, ಅವನಾದರೋ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಹೊಂದುವನು. ಆದರೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನ ಹಾಗಿರುವನು.
If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; yet he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.
16 ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವಾಗಿದ್ದೀರೆಂಬುದೂ ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆಂಬುದೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
17 ಯಾರಾದರೂ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ, ದೇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವು ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದದ್ದು, ಆ ಆಲಯವು ನೀವೇ.
If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which is what you are.
18 ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೀವೇ ಮೋಸಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಇಹಲೋಕ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನು ಜಾಣನೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಅಂಥವನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮೂರ್ಖನಾಗಲಿ. (aiōn g165)
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, he should become foolish so that he may become truly wise. (aiōn g165)
19 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಹಲೋಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರ್ಖತನವಾಗಿದೆ, ಪವಿತ್ರ ವೇದದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, “ದೇವರು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಯುಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹಿಡಿಯುವರು,” ಎಂದೂ
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. As it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness,”
20 “ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದವುಗಳೆಂದು ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ,” ಎಂದೂ ಬರೆದಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ.
and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”
21 ಆದಕಾರಣ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಯಕರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ಹೊಗಳುವುದು ಬೇಡ! ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮದು.
So then, let no one boast in men. For everything belongs to you,
22 ಪೌಲನಾಗಲಿ, ಅಪೊಲ್ಲೋಸನಾಗಲಿ, ಕೇಫನಾಗಲಿ, ಲೋಕವಾಗಲಿ, ಜೀವವಾಗಲಿ, ಮರಣವಾಗಲಿ, ವರ್ತಮಾನದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ, ಭವಿಷ್ಯತ್ಕಾಲದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮವೇ.
whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world, or life or death, or things present or things to come—everything belongs to you,
23 ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸುವಿನವರು, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ಯೇಸು ದೇವರವರು.
and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
