ಕೊರಿಂಥದವರಿಗೆ ಬರೆದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ 12
1 ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ಈಗ ಆತ್ಮಿಕ ವರಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನೀವು ಅಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಾಗಿರಬಾರದೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
But, concerning the spiritually gifted, brethren, I am not wishing you to be ignorant.
2 ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನನ್ನು ನಂಬದಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಹೇಗೆ ಮೂಕ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಭಾವಗೊಂಡು ದಾರಿತಪ್ಪಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಿರಿ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲಿರಿ.
Ye know that, when ye were of the nations, unto the dumb idols, howsoever ye were being led, ye were seduced.
3 ಹೀಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ: ದೇವರಾತ್ಮರಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಯಾವನೂ, “ಯೇಸು ಶಾಪಗ್ರಸ್ತನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರಿಂದಲೇ ಹೊರತು, ಯಾವನೂ, “ಯೇಸು ಕರ್ತದೇವರು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾರನು.
Wherefore, I give you to know—that, no one, in God’s Spirit speaking, saith—Accursed Jesus! and, no one, can say—Lord Jesus! save in [the] Holy Spirit.
4 ಆತ್ಮಿಕ ವರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಧಗಳಿವೆ, ಆದರೆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರು ಒಬ್ಬರೇ.
But, distributions of gifts, there are, yet the same Spirit,
5 ಸೇವೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಧಗಳಿವೆ, ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತ ಆಗಿರುವವರು ಒಬ್ಬರೇ.
And, distributions of ministries, there are, and the same Lord,
6 ಕಾರ್ಯರೀತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ವಿಧಗಳಿವೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ದೇವರು ಒಬ್ಬರೇ.
And, distributions of energies, there are, and the same God—who energiseth all things in all.
7 ಸರ್ವರ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮರ ವರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
But, unto each one, is given the manifesting of the Spirit, with a view to that which is profitable;
8 ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ, ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಮೂಲಕ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು, ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆ ಆತ್ಮರ ಅನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾವಾಕ್ಯವು,
For, unto one, indeed, through the Spirit, is given, a word of wisdom, but, unto another, a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; —
9 ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅದೇ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅದೇ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದ ರೋಗ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವ ವರಗಳು ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿವೆ.
Unto a different one, faith, in the same Spirit, and, unto another, gifts of healings, in the one Spirit,
10 ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾದನೆಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವೇಚಿಸುವ ವರವೂ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವ ವರವೂ ಕೊಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
And, unto another, energies of mighty works, [and], unto another, prophesying, [and], unto another, discriminations of spirits, —unto a different one, kinds of tongues, and, unto another, translation of tongues; —
11 ಈ ವರಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಆ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಒಬ್ಬರೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ತಾನುಸಾರ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
But, all these, energiseth the one and the same Spirit, distributing unto each one, peculiarly, even as it is disposed.
12 ದೇಹವು ಅನೇಕ ಅಂಗಗಳುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿರುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಅನೇಕ ಅಂಗಗಳೆಲ್ಲವು ಒಂದೇ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ, ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ದೇಹವು ಸಹ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.
For, just as, the body, is one, and yet hath many members, but, all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so, also, the Christ; —
13 ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಾಗಲಿ, ಗ್ರೀಕರಾಗಲಿ, ದಾಸರಾಗಲಿ, ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರರಾಗಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ದೇಹವಾಗುವಂತೆ, ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಬ್ಬರೇ ಆತ್ಮದಿಂದ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆವು. ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಒಬ್ಬ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಪಾನವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
For, even to one Spirit, we all, into one body, have been immersed, —whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free, —and, all, of one Spirit, have been caused to drink.
14 ದೇಹವು ಒಂದೇ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿರದೆ, ಅನೇಕ ಅಂಗಗಳುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ.
For, the body also, is not one member, but many:
15 ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಕಾಲು, “ನಾನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ, ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ, ಅದು ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಸೇರದಿರುವುದೇ?
Though the foot should say—Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, Is it, therefore, not, of the body?
16 ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಕಿವಿ, “ನಾನು ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣ, ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅದು ದೇಹಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಸೇರದಿರುವುದೇ?
And, though the ear should say—Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, Is it, therefore, not, of the body?
17 ದೇಹವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಣ್ಣಾದರೆ ನಾವು ಕೇಳುವುದೆಲ್ಲಿ? ಅಥವಾ ಅದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಿವಿಯಾದರೆ, ಮೂಸಿ ನೋಡುವುದೆಲ್ಲಿ?
If, the whole body, were, an eye, where were the hearing? If, the whole were, hearing, where were, the smelling?
18 ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಆ ಅಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಇಷ್ಟದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
But, now, hath God set the members, each one of them in the body, even as he pleased.
19 ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಒಂದೇ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ಆಗ ದೇಹವೆಲ್ಲಿ?
But, if they all had been one member, Where had been, the body?
20 ಹೀಗೆ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಅನೇಕವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ದೇಹ ಮಾತ್ರ ಒಂದೇ.
Now, however there are many members, yet one body;
21 ಕಣ್ಣು ಕೈಗೆ, “ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗದು. ತಲೆಯು ಕಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ!” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗದು.
[And] the eye cannot say unto the hand—I have no need of thee, —nor, again, the head, unto the feet—I have no need of you: —
22 ಆದರೆ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಹೀನವಾದವುಗಳೆಂದು ತೋರುವ ಅಂಗಗಳೇ ನಮಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅವಶ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ.
Nay! much more, the members which seem to be weaker are necessary,
23 ಕಡಿಮೆ ಗೌರವವುಳ್ಳವುಗಳೆಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸುವವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸದ ಅಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆಯಿಂದ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.
And, the parts of the body which we deem to be less honourable, on these, more abundant honour, do we bestow, and, our uncomely parts, have, more abundant comeliness,
24 ನಾವು ಬಾಹ್ಯ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿಶೇಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಗೌರವ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಿರುವ ಅಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ, ದೇವರು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವಂತೆ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Whereas, our comely parts, have, no need. But, God, hath tempered the body together, —unto that which was lacking, giving more abundant honour; —
25 ಹೀಗೆ ದೇವರು ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಿನ್ನಭೇದವಿಲ್ಲದೇ, ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಚಿಂತಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಸಮಾನವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
That there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have, the same, care, one for another;
26 ದೇಹದ ಒಂದು ಅಂಗ ಬಾಧೆಪಟ್ಟರೆ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂಗಗಳು ಬಾಧೆಪಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಒಂದು ಅಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಗೌರವ ದೊರೆತರೆ, ಅದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಅಂಗವೂ ಆನಂದಪಡುತ್ತವೆ.
And, whether one member, suffereth, all the members, suffer with it, or, a member is glorified, all the members, rejoice together.
27 ಈಗ ನೀವು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ದೇಹವಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಆ ದೇಹದ ಅಂಗಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
Now, ye, are the body of Christ, and members severally; —
28 ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರನ್ನು, ಎರಡನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಮೂರನೆಯದಾಗಿ ಬೋಧಕರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅನಂತರ ಅದ್ಭುತಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರನ್ನು, ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುವ ವರವನ್ನು, ಪರೋಪಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಆಡಳಿತಗಾರರನ್ನು, ವಿವಿಧ ವಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
And God hath, indeed, set, certain, in the assembly, —first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that mighty works, then gifts of healings, helps, guidings, kinds of tongues.
29 ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೋಧಕರೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಮಾಡುವವರೋ?
Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all mighty works?
30 ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುವ ವರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪರೋಪಕಾರಿಗಳೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಆಡಳಿತಗಾರರೋ? ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವವರೋ? ಅಥವಾ ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಗಳ ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನ ಮಾಡುವವರೋ?
Have, all, gifts of healings? Do, all, with tongues, speak? Do, all, translate?
31 ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ವರಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಸರ್ವೋತ್ತಮವಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Be envious, however, of the greater gifts; and, yet, a much more excellent way, unto you, I point out: —
