ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಭಾಗ 22

1 ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು, “ಇದೇ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯ, ಮತ್ತು ಇದೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದಹನಬಲಿಪೀಠ,” ಎಂದನು.

Then David said, This is the house of Yhwh God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.

2 ದಾವೀದನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಲು ಹೇಳಿ, ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲುಕುಟಿಗರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.

And David commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.

3 ದಾವೀದನು ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳ ಕದಗಳನ್ನು ಜೋಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಮೊಳೆಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಹಳ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನೂ, ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಕಂಚನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.

And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight;

4 ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ದೇವದಾರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಸೀದೋನ್ಯರೂ, ಟೈರಿನವರೂ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ದೇವದಾರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದರು.

Also cedar trees in abundance: for the Sidonians and they of Tyre brought much cedar wood to David.

5 ದಾವೀದನು, “ನನ್ನ ಮಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಎಳೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಯದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಬೇಕಾದ ಆಲಯವು ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಸೌಂದರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಘನವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ನಾನು ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಈಗ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದಾವೀದನು ಸಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದನು.

And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for Yhwh must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

6 ತನ್ನ ಮಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಲು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.

Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for Yhwh God of Israel.

7 ದಾವೀದನು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತು.

And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of Yhwh my God:

8 ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದ ವಾಕ್ಯವೇನೆಂದರೆ: ‘ನೀನು ಬಹು ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೀಯೆ; ಮಹಾ ಯುದ್ಧಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀಯೆ; ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಬೇಡ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಹಳ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದಿ.

But the word of Yhwh came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.

9 ಶಾಂತಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟುವನು. ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಅವನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿರುವುದು. ಅವನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಶಾಂತಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.

Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.

10 ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ನಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುವನು. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವನು. ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಂದೆಯಾಗಿರುವೆನು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವನ್ನು ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸುವೆನು,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.

11 “ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನೀನು ಕೃತಾರ್ಥನಾಗಿ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುವಂತೆ ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ.

Now, my son, Yhwh be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of Yhwh thy God, as he hath said of thee.

12 ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಿಯಮವನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲಿ.

Only Yhwh give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of Yhwh thy God.

13 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ನೀನು ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಾಗಿರು. ಆಗ ಸಫಲನಾಗುವಿ. ಬಲವಾಗಿರು, ದೃಢವಾಗಿರು. ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ, ಹೆದರಬೇಡ.

Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which Yhwh charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.

14 “ಇಗೋ, ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರದ ನಾನೂರ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೆಟ್ರಿಕ್ ಟನ್ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ, ಮೂವತ್ತ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರದ ಐನೂರು ಮೆಟ್ರಿಕ್ ಟನ್ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಕಂಚನ್ನೂ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನೂ ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀನು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಬಹುದು.

Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of Yhwh an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.

15 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸದವರೂ, ಕಲ್ಲು ಕೆಲಸದವರೂ, ಕಲ್ಲುಕುಟಿಗರೂ, ಬಡಗಿಯವರೂ, ಸಮಸ್ತ ವಿವಿಧ ಕೆಲಸದ ಪ್ರವೀಣರೂ ಅನೇಕ ಮಂದಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.

Moreover there are workmen with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.

16 ಚಿನ್ನ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ಕಂಚು, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ, ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣರು ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎದ್ದು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರಲಿ,” ಎಂದನು.

Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, And Yhwh be with thee.

17 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಲು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,

David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,

18 “ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅಲ್ಲವೇ? ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅಲ್ಲವೇ? ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ದೇಶ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ದೇಶವು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ, ಅವರ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನವಾಯಿತು.

Is not Yhwh your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before Yhwh, and before his people.

19 ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ದೇವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನಾಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗುವ ಆಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ತರುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ಎದ್ದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿರಿ,” ಎಂದನು.

Now set your heart and your soul to seek Yhwh your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of Yhwh God, to bring the ark of the covenant of Yhwh, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of Yhwh.
