ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಭಾಗ 16
1 ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೆ ತಂದು, ದಾವೀದನು ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಹಾಕಿದ ಗುಡಾರದೊಳಗೆ ಅದರ ನಿಯಮಿತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟ ತರುವಾಯ, ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
So they brought in the Arke of God, and set it in the middes of the Tabernacle that Dauid had pitched for it, and they offred burnt offrings and peace offrings before God.
2 ದಾವೀದನು ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ, ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ,
And when Dauid had made an ende of offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, hee blessed the people in the Name of the Lord.
3 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಪುರುಷನಿಗೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೂ, ಒಂದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಖರ್ಜೂರದ ಉಂಡೆಯನ್ನೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಉಂಡೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹಂಚಿದನು.
And he dealt to euery one of Israel both man and woman, to euery one a cake of breade, and a piece of flesh, and a bottel of wine.
4 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಲೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಹೊಗಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
And he appointed certaine of the Leuites to minister before the Arke of the Lord, and to rehearse and to thanke and prayse the Lord God of Israel:
5 ಅವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಆಸಾಫನೂ, ಅವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನೂ, ಯೆಜೀಯೇಲನೂ, ಶೆಮೀರಾಮೋತನೂ, ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲನೂ, ಮತ್ತಿತ್ಯನೂ, ಎಲೀಯಾಬನೂ, ಬೆನಾಯನೂ, ಓಬೇದ್ ಏದೋಮನೂ, ಯೆಹಿಯೇಲನೂ ಇವರು ವೀಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಆಸಾಫನು ತಾಳಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
Asaph the chiefe, and next to him Zechariah, Ieiel, and Shemiramoth, and Iehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed Edom, euen Ieiel with instruments, violes and harpes, and Asaph to make a sound with cymbales,
6 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಬೆನಾಯನೂ, ಯಹಜಿಯೇಲನೂ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಊದುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
And Benaiah and Iahaziel Priestes, with trumpets continually before the Arke of the couenant of God.
7 ಆಸಾಫನಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಜೊತೆ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗೀತೆ ಹಾಡಲು ದಾವೀದನು ಪ್ರಥಮವಾಗಿ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲೇ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ಹೀಗೆಂದು ಹಾಡಿದರು:
Then at that time Dauid did appoint at the beginning to giue thankes to the Lord by the hand of Asaph and his brethren.
8 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಅವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ, ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿರಿ.
Praise the Lord and call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people.
9 ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ, ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ, ದೇವರ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರಿ.
Sing vnto him, sing praise vnto him, and talke of all his wonderfull workes.
10 ದೇವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಹೊಗಳಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರ ಹೃದಯವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲಿ.
Reioyce in his holy Name: let the hearts of them that seeke the Lord reioyce.
11 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿರಿ, ಅವರ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ.
Seeke the Lord and his strength: seeke his face continually.
12 ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ನ್ಯಾಯ ನಿರ್ಣಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
Remember his marueilous workes that he hath done, his wonders, and the iudgements of his mouth,
13 ಅವರ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಂತತಿಯೇ, ಅವರು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ,
O seede of Israel his seruant, O the children of Iaakob his chosen.
14 ಅವರೇ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೆ.
He is the Lord our God: his iudgements are throughout all the earth.
15 ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಸಾವಿರ ತಲಾಂತರಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತನ್ನೂ,
Remember his couenant for euer, and the worde, which hee commanded to a thousand generations:
16 ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡಿದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಆಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
Which he made with Abraham, and his othe to Izhak:
17 ದೇವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನಾಗಿ ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
And hath confirmed it to Iaakob for a Law, and to Israel for an euerlasting couenant,
18 “ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಪಾಲಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.”
Saying, To thee will I giue the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.
19 ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರೂ, ಬಹು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ, ಪರದೇಶಸ್ಥರಾಗಿಯೂ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು.
When ye were fewe in number, yea, a very fewe, and strangers therein,
20 ಅವರು ಜನಾಂಗದಿಂದ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೂ, ಒಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬೇರೊಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
And walked about from nation to nation, and from one kingdome to another people,
21 ಜನರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡದಂತೆ ದೇವರು ತಡೆದರು. ಹೌದು, ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೇವರು ಅರಸರನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿ:
He suffered no man to do them wrong, but rebuked Kings for their sakes, saying,
22 ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.
Touch not mine anoynted, and doe my Prophets no harme.
23 ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹಾಡಿರಿ. ಅವರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ದಿನಂಪ್ರತಿ ಸಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ.
Sing vnto the Lord all the earth: declare his saluation from day to day.
24 ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಘನತೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿವರಿಸಿರಿ.
Declare his glory among the nations, and his wonderful workes among all people.
25 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಮಹೋನ್ನತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಬಹು ಸ್ತುತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಬಹುಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
For the Lord is great and much to be praised, and hee is to bee feared aboue all gods.
26 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಾಗಿವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದವರು.
For all the gods of the people are idoles, but the Lord made the heauens.
27 ಅವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಘನತೆಯೂ ಪ್ರಭೆಯೂ; ಅವರ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲವೂ ಸಂತೋಷವೂ ಇವೆ.
Prayse and glory are before him: power and beautie are in his place.
28 ಜನಾಂಗದ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ, ನೀವು ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿರಿ.
Giue vnto the Lord, ye families of the people: giue vnto the Lord glory and power.
29 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲತಕ್ಕ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರಿ; ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ. ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತೆ ಎಂಬ ಭೂಷಣದೊಡನೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿರಿ.
Giue vnto the Lord ye glory of his Name: bring an offring and come before him, and worship the Lord in the glorious Sanctuarie.
30 ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಭಯಪಡಿರಿ. ಲೋಕವು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರುವುದು, ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Tremble ye before him, al the earth: surely the world shalbe stable and not moue.
31 ಆಕಾಶವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸಲಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡಲಿ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಳುತ್ತಾರೆಂದು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲಿ.
Let the heauens reioyce, and let the earth be glad, and let them say among the nations, The Lord reigneth.
32 ಸಮುದ್ರವೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವುದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಘೋಷಿಸಲಿ. ಹೊಲಗಳೂ ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಪಡಲಿ.
Let the sea roare, and all that therein is: Let the field be ioyfull and all that is in it.
33 ಆಗ ಅಡವಿಯ ಮರಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ. ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲು ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Let the trees of the wood then reioyce at the presence of the Lord: for he commeth to iudge the earth.
34 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾ ಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಅವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರು; ಅವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿರುವುದು.
Prayse the Lord, for hee is good, for his mercie endureth for euer.
35 ನಮ್ಮ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ದೇವರೇ, “ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯಘೋಷ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿಸಿರಿ.”
And say ye, Saue vs, O God, our saluation, and gather vs, and deliuer vs from the heathen, that we may prayse thine holy Name, and glorie in thy praise.
36 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಯುಂಟಾಗಲಿ, ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ, “ಆಮೆನ್,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಿ. ನೀವು, “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for euer and euer: and let all people say, So be it, and praise the Lord.
37 ಪ್ರತಿದಿನದ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ನಿಯಮಿತವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ದಾವೀದನು ಆಸಾಫ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಹಚರರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
Then he left there before the Arke of the Lordes couenant Asaph and his brethren to minister continually before the Arke, that which was to be done euery day:
38 ಓಬೇದ್ ಏದೋಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಹಚರರಾದ ಅರವತ್ತೆಂಟು ಮಂದಿಯೂ, ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾದ ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಮಗ ಓಬೇದ್ ಎದೋಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹೋಸ ನೇಮಕವಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
And Obed Edom and his brethren, three score and eight: and Obed Edom the sonne of Ieduthun, and Hosah were porters.
39 ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಚಾದೋಕನನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
And Zadok the Priest and his brethren the Priestes were before the Tabernacle of ye Lord, in the hie place that was at Gibeon,
40 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲೂ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಉದಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದಹನಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
To offer burnt offrings vnto the Lord, vpon the burnt offring altar continually, in the morning and in the euening, euen according vnto all that is written in the law of the Lord, which hee commanded Israel.
41 “ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ನಿತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಮಾನನೂ, ಯೆದುತೂನನೂ ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗೊಂಡು, ನೇಮಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
And with them were Heman, and Ieduthun, and the rest that were chosen (which were appointed by names) to praise the Lord, because his mercie endureth for euer.
42 ಅದರ ಸಂಗಡ ತುತೂರಿ ಊದಲು, ತಾಳ ಬಾರಿಸಲು, ದೇವರ ಗೀತವಾದ್ಯಗಳೂ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಮಾನನೂ, ಯೆದುತೂನನೂ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಪುತ್ರರು ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
Euen with them were Heman and Ioduthun, to make a sound with the cornets and with the cymbales, with excellent instruments of musicke: and the sonnes of Ieduthun were at the gate.
43 ತರುವಾಯ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಕುಟುಂಬವನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
And all the people departed, euerie man to his house: and Dauid returned to blesse his house.
