ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲವೃತ್ತಾಂತ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಭಾಗ 15
1 ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವೀದನು ತನಗೆ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ, ಅದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಗುಡಾರ ಹಾಕಿದನು.
And [David] made himself houses in the city of David, and he prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.
2 ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು, “ಲೇವಿಯರ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತ್ಯಾರೂ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊರಬಾರದು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊರಲೂ, ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಲೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
Then said David, None shall carry the ark of God but the Levites; for of them hath the Lord made choice to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.
3 ದಾವೀದನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತಾನು ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.
And David assembled all Israel to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the Lord unto its place, which he had prepared for it.
4 ದಾವೀದನು ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.
And David gathered together the children of Aaron, and the Levites.
5 ಕೊಹಾತನ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಉರೀಯೇಲನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ 120 ಮಂದಿಯೂ;
Of the sons of Kehath: Uriel the chief, and his brethren one hundred and twenty.
6 ಮೆರಾರೀಯ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಅಸಾಯನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ 220 ಮಂದಿಯೂ;
Of the sons of Merari: 'Assayah the chief, and his brethren two hundred and twenty.
7 ಗೇರ್ಷೋಮನ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಯೋಯೇಲನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ 130 ಮಂದಿಯೂ;
Of the sons of Gershom: Joel the chief, and his brethren one hundred and thirty.
8 ಎಲೀಚಾಫಾನನ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಶೆಮಾಯನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ 200 ಮಂದಿಯೂ;
Of the sons of Elizaphan: Shema'yah the chief, and his brethren two hundred.
9 ಹೆಬ್ರೋನನ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಎಲೀಯೇಲನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ 80 ಮಂದಿಯೂ;
Of the sons of Hebron: Eliel the chief, and his brethren eighty.
10 ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೇಲನ ಪುತ್ರರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಅಮ್ಮೀನಾದಾಬನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ 112 ಮಂದಿಯು.
Of the sons of 'Uzziel: 'Amminadab the chief, and his brethren one hundred and twelve.
11 ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಚಾದೋಕನು, ಅಬಿಯಾತರನು ಎಂಬ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ; ಉರೀಯೇಲನು, ಅಸಾಯನು, ಯೋಯೇಲನು, ಶೆಮಾಯನು, ಎಲೀಯೇಲನು, ಅಮ್ಮೀನಾದಾಬನು ಎಂಬ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ,
And David called for Zadok and Ebyathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, 'Assayah, and Joel, Shema'yah, and Eliel, and 'Amminadab,
12 “ನೀವು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ತರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
And he said unto them, Ye are the chiefs of the family divisions of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, ye and your brethren, and bring up the ark of the Lord the God of Israel unto [the place which] I have prepared for it.
13 ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ಮೊದಲು ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ, ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಾದ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಒಡಕು ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
For, because ye [did] it not at the first, the Lord our God made a breach among us; because we had not sought him after the prescribed manner.
14 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾಜಕರೂ, ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord the God of Israel.
15 ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ, ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಗಲುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು.
And the children of the Levites bore the ark of God, as Moses had commanded according to the word of the Lord, on their shoulders, by means of barrows placed upon them.
16 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನು ವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ವೀಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ತಾಳಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾರಿಸಿ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನೂ ಎತ್ತುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡುಗಾರರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
And David said to the chiefs of the Levites to appoint their brethren the singers with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, to sing aloud, by lifting up the voice for joy.
17 ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಯೋಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹೇಮಾನನನ್ನೂ, ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆರೆಕ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಸಾಫನನ್ನೂ, ಮೆರಾರೀಯ ಪುತ್ರರ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಷಾಯನ ಮಗ ಏತಾನನನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು.
So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel, and of his brethren, Assaph the son of Berechyahu, and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushayahu;
18 ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಎರಡನೆಯ ದರ್ಜೆಯವರಾದ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾಗಿರುವ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನನ್ನೂ ಬೇನನನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜೀಯೇಲನನ್ನೂ, ಶೆಮೀರಾಮೋತನನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲನನ್ನೂ, ಉನ್ನೀಯನ್ನೂ, ಎಲೀಯಾಬನನ್ನೂ, ಬೆನಾಯನನ್ನೂ, ಮಾಸೇಯನನ್ನೂ, ಮತ್ತಿತ್ಯನನ್ನೂ, ಎಲೀಫೆಲೇಹುನನ್ನೂ ಮಿಕ್ನೇಯನನ್ನೂ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾದ ಓಬೇದ್ ಏದೋಮನನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲನನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದರು.
And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zecharyahu, Ben, and Ja'aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jechiel, and 'Unni, Eliab, and Benayahu, and Ma'asseyahu, and Matthithyahu, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneyahu, and 'Obed-edom, and Je'iel, the gatekeepers.
19 ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರರಾದ ಹೇಮಾನನೂ, ಆಸಾಫನೂ, ಏತಾನನೂ ಕಂಚಿನ ತಾಳಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾರಿಸುವವರು.
Namely, the singers, Heman, Assaph, and Ethan, to play aloud with cymbals of copper;
20 ಜೆಕರ್ಯ, ಅಜಿಯೇಲ್, ಶೆಮೀರಾಮೋತ್, ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲ್, ಉನ್ನೀ, ಎಲೀಯಾಬ್, ಮಾಸೇಯ, ಬೆನಾಯ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ಅಲಮೋತ್ ಎಂಬ ತಾರಸ್ಥಾಯಿಯ ವೀಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
And Zechariah, and 'Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jechiel, and 'Unni, and Eliab, and Ma'asseyahu, and Benayahu, with psalteries on 'Alamoth;
21 ಮತ್ತಿತ್ಯ, ಎಲೀಫೆಲೇಹು, ಮಿಕ್ನೇಯ, ಓಬೇದ್ ಏದೋಮ್, ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲ್, ಅಜಜ್ಯ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ಶೆಮಿನಿಥ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಂದ್ರಸ್ಥಾಯಿಯ ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
And Matthithyahu, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneyahu, and 'Obed-edom, and Je-iel, and 'Azazyahu, with harps on the Sheminith to play as leaders.
22 ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಪ್ರಧಾನನಾದ ಕೆನನ್ಯನು ಹಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದನು. ಅವನು ಸಂಗೀತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಪುಣನಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
And Kenanyahu was the chief of the Levites in conducting the singing: he instructed in conducting the singing, because he was skilful.
23 ಬೆರೆಕ್ಯ, ಎಲ್ಕಾನಾ ಮಂಜೂಷಕ್ಕೆ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
And Berechyah and Elkanah were gatekeepers for the ark.
24 ಯಾಜಕರಾದ ಶೆಬನ್ಯ, ಯೋಷಾಫಾಟ್, ನೆತನೆಯೇಲ್, ಅಮಾಸೈಯೂ, ಜೆಕರ್ಯನೂ, ಬೆನಾಯನೂ, ಎಲೀಯೆಜೆರನೂ ದೇವರ ಮಂಜೂಷದ ಮುಂದೆ ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಊದುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದರು. ಓಬೇದ್ ಏದೋಮನೂ, ಯೆಹೀಯನೂ ಮಂಜೂಷಕ್ಕೆ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
And Shebanyahu, and Joshaphat, and Nethanel, and 'Amassai, and Zecharyahu, and Benayahu, and Eli'ezer, the priests, did blow on the trumpets before the ark of God; and 'Obed-edom and Jechiyah were gatekeepers for the ark.
25 ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ದಾವೀದನೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ, ಸಹಸ್ರಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿ ಓಬೇದ್ ಏದೋಮನ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತರಲು ಹೋದರು.
And it was David, with the elders of Israel, and the officers over the thousands, who went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the house of 'Obed-edom with joy.
26 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ದೇವರು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವರು ಏಳು ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಏಳು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.
27 ದಾವೀದನೂ, ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಹೊರುವ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ, ಹಾಡುಗಾರರೂ, ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರರ ನಾಯಕನಾದ ಕೆನನ್ಯನೂ ನಯವಾದ ನಾರಿನ ಮೇಲಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನು ನಾರಿನ ಏಫೋದನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and [so were] all the Levites that carried the ark, and the singers, and Kenanyahu the chief in conducting the singing of the singers; but David had also upon him an ephod of linen.
28 ಹೀಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಆರ್ಭಟದಿಂದಲೂ, ಕೊಂಬಿನ ಶಬ್ದದಿಂದಲೂ, ತುತೂರಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ತಾಳಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ವೀಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಾರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು.
Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, playing aloud on psalteries and harps.
29 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವಾಗ, ಸೌಲನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಮೀಕಲಳು ಕಿಟಕಿಯಿಂದ ನೋಡಿ, ಕುಣಿಯುತ್ತಾ, ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದಳು.
And it happened, as the ark of the covenant of the Lord came as far as the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked through the window, and saw king David dancing and playing, and she despised him in her heart.
