ಜೆಕರ್ಯನು 4
1 ೧ ಅನಂತರ ವಿವರಿಸುವ ದೇವದೂತನು ಮತ್ತೆ ಬಂದು ನಿದ್ರೆಹತ್ತಿದವನ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಳಿಸಿ “ಏನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೀ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ನಾನು,
And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,
2 ೨ “ಇಗೋ, ಏಳು ದೀಪಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಸುವರ್ಣಮಯವಾದ ಒಂದು ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭವನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅದರ ಮೇಲಿನ ದೀಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಏಳು ನಾಳಗಳಿವೆ; ಅದರ ಮೇಲ್ಗಡೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಿದೆ;
And said to me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick: all [of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which [were] upon the top of it.
3 ೩ ಆ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಎಣ್ಣೆಯ ಮರ, ಎಡಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಎಣ್ಣೆಯ ಮರ, ಮತ್ತು ಎರಡು ಮರಗಳು ಅದರ ಪಕ್ಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
And two olive-trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side].
4 ೪ ಪುನಃ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ವಿವರಿಸುವ ದೇವದೂತನನ್ನು, “ಸ್ವಾಮೀ, ಇವು ಏನನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ,
So I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What [are] these, my lord?
5 ೫ ಆ ದೇವದೂತನು “ಇವು ಏನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?” ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಮಾಡಲು, “ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ” ಎಂದು ಅರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
Then the angel that talked with me answered and said to me, Knowest thou not what these are? and I said, No, my lord.
6 ೬ ಆಗ ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು, “ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ಬಲದಿಂದಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮದಿಂದಲೇ ಎಂಬುದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ” ಎಂಬ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲನಿಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
7 ೭ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬೆಟ್ಟವೇ, “ನೀನು ಯಾರು? ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲನ ಮುಂದೆ ನೆಲಸಮವಾಗುವಿ; ಅವನು ಕಲಶದ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಕೋಲಾಹಲದೊಡನೆ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವನು; ಇದರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರ ದಯೆಯಿರಲಿ” ಎಂಬ ಜನಘೋಷವಾಗುವುದು.
Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth [its] head-stone [with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace, to it.
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
9 ೯ “ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲನ ಕೈಗಳು ಈ ಆಲಯದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿವೆ. ಆ ಕೈಗಳೇ ಇದನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವವು. ಆಗ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದವನು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ” ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗುವುದು.
The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me to you.
10 ೧೦ ಆಗ ದೂತನು “ಈ ದೀಪಗಳಿಂದ ಸೂಚಿತವಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಏಳು ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಸರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ತೂಕದ ಗುಂಡು ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ನೋಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಪ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ದಿನವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದವರು ಯಾರು?
For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel [with] those seven; they [are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Then I answered, and said to him, What [are] these two olive-trees upon the right [side] of the candlestick and upon its left [side]?
12 ೧೨ ಮತ್ತೆ ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿಂದ ಚಿನ್ನದಂಥ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿಸುವ ಎರಡು ಬಂಗಾರದ ನಾಳಗಳಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಾ. ಆ ನಾಳಗಳ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿರುವ ಎರಡು ಎಣ್ಣೆಕಾಯಿಗುತ್ತಿಗಳು ಏನು? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದೆ.
And I answered again, and said to him, What [are these] two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden [oil] out of themselves?
13 ೧೩ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆ ದೂತನು ನನಗೆ, “ಇವು ಏನೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ನಾನು, “ಇಲ್ಲ ಸ್ವಾಮೀ” ಎಂದೆ.
And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these [are]? And I said, No, my lord.
14 ೧೪ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನು, “ಇವು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯಿಂದ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಸರ್ವ ಲೋಕದ ಒಡೆಯನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತವೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the LORD of the whole earth.
