ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 90

1 ೧ ಪಾಪಾತ್ಮರಿಗೆ ದೇವರ ದಯವೇ ಆಶ್ರಯ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಆಶ್ರಯಸ್ಥಾನವು ನೀನೇ.

A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.

2 ೨ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳು ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ, ಭೂಮಿಯೂ ಅದರ ದೇಶಗಳೂ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲೇ, ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನೀನೇ ದೇವರು.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou [art] God.

3 ೩ “ಮನುಷ್ಯರೇ, ಸಾಯಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸುತ್ತೀ.

Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

4 ೪ ಸಾವಿರ ವರ್ಷಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗತಿಸಿಹೋದ ನಿನ್ನೆಯ ದಿನದಂತೆಯೂ, ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ಜಾವದಂತೆಯೂ ಇವೆ.

For a thousand years in thy sight [are but] as yesterday when it is past, and [as] a watch in the night.

5 ೫ ನೀನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾಹದಿಂದ ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೀ; ಅವರು ನಿದ್ರೆಗೆ ಸಮಾನರೇ. ಅವರು ಹೊತ್ತಾರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಗುರುವ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are [as] a sleep: in the morning [they are] like grass [which] groweth up.

6 ೬ ಅದು ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ಹೂಬಿಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಸಂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಒಣಗಿಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.

In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.

7 ೭ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ನಾವು ಇಲ್ಲವಾದೆವು; ನಿನ್ನ ರೌದ್ರದಿಂದ ತಲ್ಲಣಗೊಂಡೆವು.

For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.

8 ೮ ನಮ್ಮ ದ್ರೋಹಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ಗುಪ್ತಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ತೇಜೋದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಿ.

Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret [sins] in the light of thy countenance.

9 ೯ ನಿನ್ನ ರೋಷದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಳೆದು ಹೋಯಿತು; ನಮ್ಮ ವರ್ಷಗಳು ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರಿನಂತೆ ತೀರಿಹೋದವು.

For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale [that is told].

10 ೧೦ ನಮ್ಮ ಆಯುಷ್ಕಾಲವು ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ, ಬಲ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದರೆ ಎಂಭತ್ತು; ಕಷ್ಟಸಂಕಟಗಳೇ ಅದರ ಆಡಂಬರ. ಅದು ಬೇಗನೆ ಗತಿಸಿಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ; ನಾವು ಹಾರಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇವೆ.

The days of our years [are] threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength [they be] fourscore years, yet [is] their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

11 ೧೧ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪದ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ, ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರತಕ್ಕ ನಿನ್ನ ರೌದ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಗ್ರಹಿಸುವವರಾರು?

Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, [so is] thy wrath.

12 ೧೨ ನಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳು ಕೊಂಚವೇ ಎಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮಗೆ ಕಲಿಸು; ಆಗ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆವು.

So teach [us] to number our days, that we may apply [our] hearts unto wisdom.

13 ೧೩ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೋ; ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ಕೋಪ ಮಾಡುವಿ? ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆಯಿರಲಿ.

Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.

14 ೧೪ ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸು; ಆಗ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುವೆವು.

O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

15 ೧೫ ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಿದ ದಿನಗಳಿಗೂ, ನಾವು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೂ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸು.

Make us glad according to the days [wherein] thou hast afflicted us, [and] the years [wherein] we have seen evil.

16 ೧೬ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯವೂ, ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ತೂ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಲಿ.

Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.

17 ೧೭ ನಮ್ಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನತೆಯು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಲಿ. ನಾವು ಕೈ ಹಾಕಿದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಸಫಲಪಡಿಸು; ನಾವು ಕೈಹಾಕಿದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಸಫಲ ವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡು.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
