ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 77

1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ಯೆದುತೂನನ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ಆಸಾಫನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವೆನು, ಕೂಗಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವೆನು; ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡುವನು.

“For the leader of the music of the Jeduthunites. A psalm of Asaph.” I call upon God; I cry aloud for help; I call upon God, that he would hear me!

2 ೨ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯನ್ನು ಕರೆದೆನು; ಬೇಸರವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಚಾಚಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಇದ್ದೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಇತ್ತು.

In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; In the night is my hand stretched forth continually; My soul refuseth to be comforted.

3 ೩ ನಾನು ವ್ಯಥೆಪಡುತ್ತಾ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವೆನು; ಮನಗುಂದಿದವನಾಗಿಯೇ ಹಂಬಲಿಸುವೆನು.

I remember God, and am disquieted; I think of him, and my spirit is overwhelmed.

4 ೪ ನಾನು ರೆಪ್ಪೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚದಂತೆ ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದಿ. ತಳಮಳಗೊಂಡು ಮಾತನಾಡಲಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದೆನು.

Thou keepest mine eyelids from closing; I am distressed, so that I cannot speak!

5 ೫ ಹಳೆಯ ದಿನಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಪುರಾತನ ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.

I think of the days of old, —The years of ancient times.

6 ೬ ನಾನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಗಾನವನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು, ನನ್ನ ಆಂತರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ,

I call to remembrance my songs in the night; I meditate in my heart, And my spirit inquireth:

7 ೭ “ಕರ್ತನು ಸದಾಕಾಲಕ್ಕೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟೇಬಿಡುವನೋ? ಆತನು ಪುನಃ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

Will the Lord be angry for ever? Will he be favorable no more?

8 ೮ ಆತನ ಕೃಪಾವಾತ್ಸಲ್ಯವು ನಿಂತೇ ಹೋಯಿತೋ? ಆತನ ವಾಗ್ದಾನವು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಬಿದ್ದೇ ಹೋಯಿತೋ?

Is his mercy utterly withdrawn for ever? Doth his promise fail from generation to generation?

9 ೯ ದೇವರು ದಯೆ ತೋರಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟನೋ? ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಕರಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೋ?” ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು (ಸೆಲಾ)

Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath he in anger shut up his compassion?

10 ೧೦ ಪುನಃ ನಾನು, “ಹೀಗೆ ನೆನಸುವುದು ನನ್ನ ಬಲಹೀನತೆಯೇ. ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರ ಭುಜಬಲವು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದ ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.

Then I say, “This is mine affliction, A change in the right hand of the Most High.”

11 ೧೧ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವರ್ಣಿಸುವೆನು; ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದ ನೀನು ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ನೆನಪು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.

I remember the deeds of Jehovah; I think of thy wonders of old.

12 ೧೨ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧ್ಯಾನಿಸುವೆನು; ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರವರ್ತನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವೆನು” ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.

I meditate on all thy works, And talk of thy doings.

13 ೧೩ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದುದು. ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಂತೆ ಮಹತ್ವವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರು ಯಾರು?

Thy ways, O God! are holy! Who so great a god as our God?

14 ೧೪ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವ ದೇವರು ನೀನೇ; ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದಿ.

Thou art a God who doest wonders; Thou hast manifested thy power among the nations.

15 ೧೫ ಯಾಕೋಬ ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಸೇಫರ ವಂಶದವರಾದ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು, ಭುಜಬಲದಿಂದ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಮಾಡಿದಿ. (ಸೆಲಾ)

With thy strong arm thou didst redeem thy people, —The sons of Jacob and Joseph.

16 ೧೬ ದೇವರೇ, ಜಲರಾಶಿಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡವು; ಕಾಣುತ್ತಲೇ ತಳಮಳಗೊಂಡು ತಳದವರೆಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಕಲ್ಲೋಲವಾದವು.

The waters saw thee, O God! The waters saw thee, and feared, And the deep trembled.

17 ೧೭ ಮೇಘಮಂಡಲವು ಮಳೆಗರೆಯಿತು; ಆಕಾಶವು ಗರ್ಜಿಸಿತು; ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಣಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯೂ ಹಾರಿದವು.

The clouds poured out water, The skies sent forth thunder, And thine arrows flew.

18 ೧೮ ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಡುಗು ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು; ಮಿಂಚುಗಳು ಭೂಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿದವು; ಭೂಮಿಯು ಅಲ್ಲಾಡಿ ಕಂಪಿಸಿತು.

Thy thunder roared in the whirlwind; Thy lightning illumined the world; The earth trembled and shook.

19 ೧೯ ನೀನು ಸಮುದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರ್ಗಮಾಡಿದಿ; ಮಹಾಜಲರಾಶಿಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಗುರುತು ಕಾಣಲಿಲ್ಲ.

Thy way was through the sea, And thy path through great waters; And thy footsteps could not be found.

20 ೨೦ ಕುರುಬನು ಕುರಿಹಿಂಡನ್ನು ಹೇಗೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀನು ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರ ಮುಖಾಂತರ, ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಿದಿ.

Thou didst lead thy people like a flock, By the hands of Moses and Aaron.
