1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಶತ್ರುಭಯದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು.

4 ೪ ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಸಜ್ಜನನಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೂ ಹೆದರದೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಎಸೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.

5 ೫ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ, “ರಹಸ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡ್ಡೋಣ; ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡುವವರು ಯಾರು?” ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

9 ೯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ದೇವರ ಕೆಲಸವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಆತನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

10 ೧೦ ಸದ್ಭಕ್ತರು ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಪಟ್ಟು ಆತನನ್ನೇ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಸರಳಹೃದಯದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವರು.
