< ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 57 >

1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು. ಅಲ್ತಷ್ಖೇತೆಂಬ ರಾಗ; ದಾವೀದನು ಸೌಲನ ಭೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾಗ ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕಾವ್ಯ. ದೇವರೇ, ಕರುಣಿಸು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸು. ನೀನೇ ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯಸ್ಥಾನವಲ್ಲವೇ! ಆಪತ್ತುಗಳು ಕಳೆದುಹೋಗುವ ತನಕ ನಿನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಮರೆಯನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
“To the chief musician, Al-tashcheth, by David, a Michtham, when he fled from Saul, in the cave.” Be gracious unto me, O God, be gracious unto me; for in thee my soul seeketh protection, and under the shadow of thy wings will I seek protection, until the mischief be passed away.
2 ೨ ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವೆನು, ನನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಫಲಮಾಡುವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿ ಕರೆಯುವೆನು.
I will call unto God, the Most High; unto God that accomplisheth [his kindness] on me.
3 ೩ ಆತನು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಆಲಿಸಿ, ನಿಂದಕರ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು; (ಸೆಲಾ) ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಸತ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನೂ ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸುವನು.
He will send from heaven, and save me, though he that longeth to swallow me up utter reproach. (Selah) God will send forth his kindness and his truth.
4 ೪ ನಾನು ಸಿಂಹಗಳಂತಿರುವ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ದುರಾಶೆಯಿಂದ ಕಬಳಿಸುವಂತಹ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ನಡುವೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು ಈಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಣಗಳಂತಿವೆ, ನಾಲಿಗೆಗಳು ಹದವಾದ ಕತ್ತಿಗಳೇ.
My soul is in the midst of lions; I lie down [in the midst of] those that send out flames, [those] sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and whose tongue is a sharpened sword.
5 ೫ ದೇವರೇ, ಮೇಲಣ ಲೋಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಭಾವವು ಮೆರೆಯಲಿ; ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ವವು ಹಬ್ಬಲಿ.
Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God: above all the earth let thy glory be.
6 ೬ ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಬಲೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಕುಂದಿಹೋಯಿತು. ನನ್ನ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಣಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗೆದರು; ತಾವೇ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋದರು. (ಸೆಲಾ)
A net have they prepared for my steps; my soul hath been bent down; they have dug before me a pit; they are fallen into the midst thereof. (Selah)
7 ೭ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದೆ, ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಾನು ವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಹಾಡುವೆನು.
Firm is my heart, O God, firm is my heart: I will sing and play.
8 ೮ ನನ್ನ ಮನವೇ, ಚುರುಕಾಗು; ಸ್ವರಮಂಡಲವೇ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯೇ, ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರಿ. ಸಂಕೀರ್ತನೆಯಿಂದ ಉದಯವನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
Awake, my spirit; awake, psaltery and harp: I will wake up the morning-dawn.
9 ೯ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು; ಸರ್ವದೇಶದವರೊಳಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು.
I will thank thee among the people, O Lord: I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
10 ೧೦ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸತ್ಯತೆಯು ಮುಗಿಲನ್ನೂ ಮುಟ್ಟುವಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡವಾಗಿವೆ.
For great, even unto the heavens, is thy kindness, and even unto the skies [extendeth] thy truth.
11 ೧೧ ದೇವರೇ, ಮೇಲಣ ಲೋಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಭಾವವು ಮೆರೆಯಲಿ; ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ವವು ಹಬ್ಬಲಿ.
