ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 54

1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ತಂತಿವಾದ್ಯದೊಡನೆ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ಜಿಫ್ಯರು ಸೌಲನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ದಾವೀದನು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲೇ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ದಾವೀದನು ರಚಿಸಿದ ಪದ್ಯ. ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮಮಹತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸು.

For the end, among Hymns of instruction by David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Lo, is not David hid with us? Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy might.

2 ೨ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸು; ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡು.

O God, hear my prayer; hearken to the words of my mouth.

3 ೩ ಗರ್ವಿಗಳು ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. (ಸೆಲಾ)

For strangers have risen up against me, and mighty men have sought my life: they have not set God before them. (Pause)

4 ೪ ಇಗೋ, ದೇವರೇ ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕನು; ಕರ್ತನೇ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವವನು.

For lo! God assists me; and the Lord is the helper of my soul.

5 ೫ ನನ್ನ ಕೆಡುಕಿಗೆ ಸಮಯ ನೋಡುವವರು ತಾವೇ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಲಿ. ನೀನು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತನಲ್ಲವೇ; ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡು.

He shall return evil to mine enemies; utterly destroy them in thy truth.

6 ೬ ನಾನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು; ಉತ್ತಮೋತ್ತಮವಾಗಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು.

I will willingly sacrifice to thee: I will give thanks to thy name, O Lord; for [it is] good.

7 ೭ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸರ್ವ ಆಪತ್ತುಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದಿ.

For thou hast delivered me out of all affliction, and mine eye has seen [my desire] upon mine enemies.
