ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 4
1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ತಂತಿವಾದ್ಯದೊಡನೆ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸು. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಪತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ, ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿದಾತನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸು.
“To the chief musician on Neginoth, a psalm of David.” When I call, answer me, O God of my righteousness: amidst distress thou hast [ever] granted me enlargement; be gracious unto me, and hear my prayer.
2 ೨ ಜನರೇ, ನೀವು ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುವಿರಿ, ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಪಡಿಸುವಿರಿ? ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವಿರಿ? (ಸೆಲಾ)
O ye sons of men, how long shall my glory be put to shame? [how long] will ye love vanity, will ye seek for lies? (Selah)
3 ೩ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತನನ್ನು ತನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನಾನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವಾಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆತನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
But know that the Lord hath set apart the pious for himself: the Lord will hear when I call on him.
Tremble, and sin not: commune with your heart upon your bed, and be still (Selah)
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.
6 ೬ “ನಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರು ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ?” ಎಂದು ಅನೇಕರು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನಮುಖದಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕು.
Many say, “Who will show us happiness? Let shine brightly over us the light of thy countenance, O Lord.”
7 ೭ ಧಾನ್ಯದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ಸುಗ್ಗಿ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗಾಗುವ ಸಂತೋಷಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಆನಂದವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ.
[But] thou hast placed more joy in my heart than at the time when their corn and their wine were increased.
8 ೮ ನಾನು ನಿರ್ಭಯವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಮಲಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಕೂಡಲೆ ನಿದ್ದೆಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನಗೆ ಯಾವ ಅಪಾಯವೂ ಬಾರದಂತೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತೀ.
In peace, altogether, will I lay me down and sleep; for thou, Lord, alone, causest me to dwell in safety.
