ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 35

1 ೧ ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವವರೊಡನೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಮಾಡು; ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡು.

[A Psalm] of David. Plead [my cause], O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

2 ೨ ಖೇಡ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲು.

Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.

3 ೩ ನೀನು ಭರ್ಜಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಕೊಡಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸು; “ನಾನೇ ನಿನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ” ಎಂದು ಅಭಯಕೊಡು.

Draw out also the spear, and stop [the way] against them that persecute me: say to my soul, I [am] thy salvation.

4 ೪ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುವವರು ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಟ್ಟು ಅವಮಾನಹೊಂದಲಿ; ನನಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರು ಕಳವಳದಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಓಡಲಿ.

Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

5 ೫ ಅವರು ಗಾಳಿ ಹಾರಿಸುವ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನಂತಾಗಲಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಬಿಡಲಿ.

Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase [them].

6 ೬ ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೂ, ಜಾರಿಕೆಯೂ ಇರುವ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಲಿ.

Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.

7 ೭ ಅವರು ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಬಲೆಯೊಡ್ಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಗುಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ತೋಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

For without cause they have hid for me their net [in] a pit, [which] without cause they have digged for my soul.

8 ೮ ಅವನಿಗೆ ನಾಶನವು ಆಕಸ್ಮಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ಬರಲಿ; ತಾನು ಹಾಸಿದ ಬಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೇ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳಲಿ. ತಾನು ತೋಡಿದ ಕುಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೇ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಲಿ.

Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.

9 ೯ ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಹರ್ಷವುಂಟಾಗುವುದು; ಆತನಿಂದಾದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಆನಂದಪಡುವೆನು.

And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

10 ೧೦ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವನನ್ನು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಯಿಂದಲೂ, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದ ಬಡವನನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುವವನಿಂದಲೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವಾತನೇ, “ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಾನರು ಯಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ?” ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಳುವವು.

All my bones shall say, LORD, who [is] like thee, who deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, even the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?

11 ೧೧ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಾನರಿಯದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

False witnesses arose; they laid to my charge [things] that I knew not.

12 ೧೨ ಅವರು ಉಪಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಕಾರವನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಾನು ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವನಾದೆನು.

They rewarded me evil for good [to] the spoiling of my soul.

13 ೧೩ ನಾನಾದರೋ ಅವರ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೋಣಿ ತಟ್ಟನ್ನೇ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆನು; ಉಪವಾಸದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ನೋಯಿಸಿದೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing [was] sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into my own bosom.

14 ೧೪ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದವನನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನೋ, ಅಣ್ಣನೋ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು; ತಾಯಿ ಸತ್ತದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದುಃಖಿಸುವವನಂತೆ ನಾನು ತಲೆಬಾಗಿ ಅಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.

I behaved myself as though [he had been] my friend [or] brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth [for his] mother.

15 ೧೫ ಆದರೂ ನನಗೆ ಆಪತ್ತು ಬಂದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡರು; ನಿರಾಕಾರಣವಾಗಿ ಈ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದರು, ಸೂರೆ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

But in my adversity they rejoiced, and assembled themselves: [yes], the abjects assembled themselves against me, and I knew [it] not; they did tear [me], and ceased not:

16 ೧೬ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವ ಮೂರ್ಖರ ಸಂಗಡ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲುಕಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.

With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

17 ೧೭ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವಿ? ಅವರ ಅಪಾಯದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು; ನನ್ನ ಪರಮಪ್ರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಆ ಸಿಂಹಗಳ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕದಂತೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸು.

LORD, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.

18 ೧೮ ಆಗ ನಾನು ಮಹಾಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು; ಬಹುಜನರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು.

I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among many people.

19 ೧೯ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲದ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶಕೊಡಬೇಡ; ನಿಷ್ಕಾರಣ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣುಸನ್ನೆಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪದಕೊಡಬೇಡ.

Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: [neither] let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

20 ೨೦ ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಸಮಾಧಾನಕರವಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲ; ದೇಶದ ಸಾಧುಜನರನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಸವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against [them that are] quiet in the land.

21 ೨೧ ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬಾಯಿಕಿಸಿದು, “ಆಹಾ, ಆಹಾ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಂಡಿತಲ್ಲಾ” ಎಂದು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me, [and] said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen [it].

22 ೨೨ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನೇ ನೋಡಿದಿಯಲ್ಲವೇ; ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಬೇಡ; ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿರುವುದೇಕೆ?

[This] thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O LORD, be not far from me.

23 ೨೩ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಎದ್ದು ನನಗಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸು; ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ವಿವಾದವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸು.

Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, [even] to my cause, my God and my LORD.

24 ೨೪ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪುಕೊಡು; ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಿರಬಾರದು.

Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

25 ೨೫ ಆಹಾ, ನಮ್ಮ ಆಶೆ ನೆರವೇರಿತು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶವಿರಬಾರದು; ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇವೆಂದು ಅವರು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು.

Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

26 ೨೬ ನನ್ನ ಕೇಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಟ್ಟು ಅವಮಾನಹೊಂದಲಿ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೀಯಾಳಿಸಿ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ತುತಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರು, ಅವಮಾನವನ್ನೂ, ಅಪಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದಲಿ.

Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at my hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonor that magnify [themselves] against me.

27 ೨೭ ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವವರು ಆನಂದದೊಡನೆ ಜಯಧ್ವನಿಮಾಡಲಿ; ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಹಿತವನ್ನು ಕೋರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹೇಳುವವರಾಗಲಿ.

Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause: yes, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, who hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

28 ೨೮ ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ಣಿಸುವುದು.

And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness [and] of thy praise all the day long.
