ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 33

1 ೧ ನೀತಿವಂತರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಪಡಿರಿ; ಯಥಾರ್ಥಚಿತ್ತರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವುದು ಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.

Be joyful, O ye righteous, in the Lord; [for] unto the righteous praise is comely.

2 ೨ ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯನ್ನು ನುಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ; ಹತ್ತುತಂತಿಗಳ ಸ್ವರಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ನುಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಸಂಕೀರ್ತಿಸಿರಿ.

Give thanks unto the Lord with the harp: with the ten-stringed psaltery do ye sing [praises] unto him.

3 ೩ ಆತನ ಘನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನೂತನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿರಿ; ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿಯೊಡನೆ ಇಂಪಾಗಿ ಬಾರಿಸಿರಿ.

Sing unto him a new song; play beautifully amidst a triumphant shout.

4 ೪ ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಚನವು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾದದ್ದು; ಆತನ ಕೃತ್ಯವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿವೆ.

For the word of the Lord is upright; and all his works [are done] in truth.

5 ೫ ಆತನು ನೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನು; ಭೂಲೋಕವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ.

He loveth righteousness and justice: the earth is full of the kindness of the Lord.

6 ೬ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಆಕಾಶವು ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವುದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಆತನ ಶ್ವಾಸದಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿತವಾಯಿತು.

By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and by the breath of his mouth all their host.

7 ೭ ನೀರುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಆತನೇ; ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಜಲಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟವನು ಆತನೇ.

He gathereth together like heaps the waters of the sea: he layeth up in store-houses the depths [of the sea].

8 ೮ ಭೂಲೋಕದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಲಿ; ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಲಿ.

Let all the earth fear the Lord: of him stand in awe all the inhabitants of the world.

9 ೯ ಆತನು ನುಡಿದ ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಸ್ತವೂ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಆತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಸರ್ವವೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯಾಯಿತು.

For he spoke, and it came into being: he commanded, and it stood fast.

10 ೧೦ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅನ್ಯಜನರ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವರ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಷ್ಫಲಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

The Lord frustrateth the resolves of the nations: he bringeth to nought the thoughts of the people.

11 ೧೧ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯೋ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿಯೇ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು; ಆತನ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

The counsel of the Lord will stand for ever, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.

12 ೧೨ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೋ, ಯಾವ ಜನಾಂಗದವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಕೀಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೋ ಅವರೇ ಧನ್ಯರು.

Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he hath chosen for himself as a heritage.

13 ೧೩ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾನೆ;

The Lord looketh from heaven; he seeth all the sons of men.

14 ೧೪ ತಾನಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

From the place of his habitation he directeth his view upon all the inhabitants of the earth;

15 ೧೫ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದವನೂ, ಅವರ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಿವೇಚಿಸುವವನೂ ಆತನೇ.

He fashioneth their hearts altogether; he hath regard to all their works.

16 ೧೬ ಮಹಾ ಸೇನಾಬಲದಿಂದಲೇ ಯಾವ ಅರಸನಿಗೂ ಜಯವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾವ ಶೂರನೂ ಅಧಿಕವಾದ ಭುಜಬಲದಿಂದ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತನಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

The king is not saved by the multitude of an army: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

17 ೧೭ ಜೀವದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಕುದುರೆಯು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ತನ್ನ ವಿಶೇಷಬಲದಿಂದ ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾರದು.

Vain is the horse for victory: nor shall he deliver any by the greatness of his strength.

18 ೧೮ ಯೆಹೋವನಾದರೋ ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon those that fear him, upon those that hope for his kindness.

19 ೧೯ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮರಣದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು; ಬರಗಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸುವನು.

To deliver from death their soul, and to keep them alive in famine.

20 ೨೦ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಾದಿದೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯವೂ, ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ಆತನೇ.

Our soul waiteth for the Lord: our help and our shield is he.

21 ೨೧ ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವುದು; ಆತನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

For in him shall our heart rejoice: because in his holy name have we trusted.

22 ೨೨ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೇ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪೆಯು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಲಿ.

Let thy kindness, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in thee.
