ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 15

1 ೧ ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರು ಯೋಗ್ಯರು? ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸತಕ್ಕವನು ಎಂಥವನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು?

A Psalm by David. Yahweh, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy hill?

2 ೨ ಅವನು ಸಜ್ಜನನೂ, ನೀತಿವಂತನೂ, ಮನಃಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಸತ್ಯದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡುವವನೂ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು.

He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart;

3 ೩ ಅವನು ಚಾಡಿಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳದವನೂ, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಮಾಡದವನೂ, ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ನಿಂದಿಸದವನೂ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು.

he who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man;

4 ೪ ಅವನು ಭ್ರಷ್ಟರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟವನೂ, ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸುವವನೂ, ನಷ್ಟವಾದರೂ ಪ್ರಮಾಣತಪ್ಪದವನೂ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು.

in whose eyes a vile man is despised, but who honors those who fear Yahweh; he who keeps an oath even when it hurts, and doesn’t change;

5 ೫ ಅವನು ಸಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡ್ಡಿ ಕೇಳದವನೂ, ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯ ಕೇಡಿಗಾಗಿ ಲಂಚವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದವನೂ ಆಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಇಂಥವನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

he who doesn’t lend out his money for usury, nor take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be shaken.
