ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 149

1 ೧ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ! ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ನೂತನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿರಿ; ಭಕ್ತರ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ.

Praise ye the LORD! Sing unto the LORD a new song; His praise in the assembly of the godly!

2 ೨ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಪಡಲಿ; ಚೀಯೋನಿನವರು ತಮ್ಮ ರಾಜನಲ್ಲಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸಲಿ.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; Let the sons of Zion be joyful in their king!

3 ೩ ಕುಣಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಆತನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ತಿಸಲಿ; ದಮ್ಮಡಿ, ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಆತನನ್ನು ಭಜಿಸಲಿ.

Let them praise his name in the dance; Let them praise him with the timbrel and harp!

4 ೪ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾದನು; ದೀನರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಿಂದ ಭೂಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people; He will beautify the distressed with salvation.

5 ೫ ಭಕ್ತರು ತಮಗುಂಟಾದ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಗ್ಗಲಿ; ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವಾಗಲೂ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಧ್ವನಿ ಮಾಡಲಿ.

Let the godly-rejoice in their glory; Let them shout for joy upon their beds!

6 ೬ ಅವರ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವೂ, ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಬ್ಬಾಯಿಕತ್ತಿಯೂ ಇರಲಿ.

Let the praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,

7 ೭ ಅವರು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿತೀರಿಸುವರು; ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವರು;

To execute vengeance upon the nations, And punishment upon the peoples!

8 ೮ ಅವರ ರಾಜರನ್ನು ಸಂಕೋಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿಸುವರು; ಪ್ರಭುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಬೇಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವರು.

To bind their kings with chains. And their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 ೯ ಲಿಖಿತದಂತೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸುವರು; ಇದು ಆತನ ಭಕ್ತರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವವಾಗಿರುವುದು. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ.

To execute upon them the sentence which is written: This honor have all his godly ones. Praise ye the LORD!
