ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 126

1 ೧ ಯಾತ್ರಾಗೀತೆ. ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಚೀಯೋನಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದಾಗ, ನಾವು ಕನಸು ಕಂಡವರಂತೆ ಇದ್ದೆವು.

A Song of Ascents. When the LORD brought back those that returned to Zion, we were like unto them that dream.

2 ೨ ಆಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿ ಬಲು ನಗೆಯಿಂದಲೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಹರ್ಷಗೀತದಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದವು. ಅನ್ಯಜನರು, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ” ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then said they among the nations: 'The LORD hath done great things with these.'

3 ೩ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಹತ್ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ನಿಜ; ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ಸಂತೋಷವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

The LORD hath done great things with us; we are rejoiced.

4 ೪ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ದಕ್ಷಿಣದೇಶದ ಹಳ್ಳಗಳನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ, ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮವರನ್ನೂ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡು.

Turn our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the dry land.

5 ೫ ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಬಿತ್ತುವವರು, ಹಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಕೊಯ್ಯುವರು,

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

6 ೬ ದುಃಖಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವವನು, ಹರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಸಿವುಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವನು.

Though he goeth on his way weeping that beareth the measure of seed, he shall come home with joy, bearing his sheaves.
