ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 120

1 ೧ ಯಾತ್ರಾಗೀತೆ. ನನ್ನ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟೆನು; ಆತನು ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು.

A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried to the LORD, and he heard me.

2 ೨ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಸುಳ್ಳು ಬಾಯಿಯೂ, ವಂಚಿಸುವ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಉಳ್ಳವರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು.

Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, [and] from a deceitful tongue.

3 ೩ ವಂಚಿಸುವ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯೇ, ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೇನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು? ಯಾವ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕು?

What shall be given to thee? or what shall be done to thee, thou false tongue?

4 ೪ ಶೂರನ ಹದವಾದ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಜಾಲಿಯ ಕೆಂಡಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವರು.

Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.

5 ೫ ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನಾನು ಮೇಷೆಕಿನವರಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗಬೇಕಲ್ಲಾ! ಕೇದಾರಿನವರ ಪಾಳೆಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಬೇಕಾಯಿತಲ್ಲಾ!

Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, [that] I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

6 ೬ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವವರೊಳಗೆ, ಇದ್ದು ಇದ್ದು ಸಾಕಾಯಿತು.

My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.

7 ೭ ನಾನು ಸಮಾಧಾನಪ್ರಿಯನು; ಅವರೋ, ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

I [am] for peace: but when I speak, they [are] for war.
