ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 12

1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ಮಂದರಸ್ಥಾಯಿಯೊಡನೆ ಹಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ಭಕ್ತರು ಮುಗಿದು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರನ್ನು ಕಾಣುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

“To the chief musician upon Sheminith, a psalm of David.” Help, O Lord; for the pious have ceased to be; for the truthful have failed from among the children of men.

2 ೨ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರು ನೆರೆಯವರೊಡನೆ ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅವರು ವಂಚನೆಯ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೊಂದು ಒಳಗೊಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Deceptively do they speak every one with his neighbor, with flattering lips, with a double heart do they speak.

3 ೩ ಯೆಹೋವನು ವಂಚನೆಯ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಬಡಾಯಿ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕಡಿದುಬಿಡಲಿ.

May the Lord cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaketh boastful things:

4 ೪ ಅವರು, “ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ತಡೆಯಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ; ನಮ್ಮ ತುಟಿಗಳು ನಮ್ಮವೇ; ನಮಗೆ ಒಡೆಯನು ಯಾರು?” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರಲ್ಲಾ.

Who have said, With our tongue will we be mighty; our lips are with us; who is Lord over us!

5 ೫ ಯೆಹೋವನು, “ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವರ ಬಾಧೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಗತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವರ ನರಳುವಿಕೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು. ಈಗ ಎದ್ದು ಬಂದು ಅವರ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರು ಬಯಸಿದಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಇರಿಸುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord: I will grant safety to him for whom the other layeth a snare.

6 ೬ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾದವುಗಳೇ; ಅವು ಏಳು ಸಾರಿ ಪುಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿವೆ.

The words of the Lord are pure words, as silver refined in the crucible of earth, purified seven times.

7 ೭ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೂ ನೀಚರೇ ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ, ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರೂ,

Thou, O Lord, wilt preserve them; thou wilt guard them from this generation for ever.

8 ೮ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದಿ, ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟರಿಂದ ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕಾಪಾಡುವಿ.

On every side do the wicked walk about, when the vile are exalted over the sons of man.
