ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 116

1 ೧ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವನು.

I love YHWH, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy.

2 ೨ ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಇರುವವರೆಗೂ ಆತನನ್ನೇ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವೆನು.

Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.

3 ೩ ಮರಣಪಾಶಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದವು; ಪಾತಾಳ ವೇದನೆಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದವು. ಚಿಂತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿದ್ದೆನು. (Sheol h7585)

The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol got a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow. (Sheol h7585)

4 ೪ ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ, “ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಕೃಪೆಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು” ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದೆನು.

Then I called on the name of YHWH: "YHWH, I beg you, deliver my soul."

5 ೫ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕೃಪಾಳುವೂ, ನೀತಿವಂತನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಕನಿಕರವುಳ್ಳವನು.

YHWH is Gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is merciful.

6 ೬ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸರಳ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವನು; ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವನಾದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.

YHWH preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me.

7 ೭ ನನ್ನ ಮನವೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ನೆಲೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನಗೆ ಮಹೋಪಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ.

Return to your rest, my soul, for YHWH has dealt bountifully with you.

8 ೮ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಾನು ಜೀವಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ನಿನಗೆ ನೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು,

For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

9 ೯ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮರಣದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಎಡವದಂತೆ ಕಾದಿದ್ದೀ.

I will walk before YHWH in the land of the living.

10 ೧೦ “ನಾನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗಲೂ,

I believed, therefore I said, "I am greatly afflicted."

11 ೧೧ “ಮನುಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರರು” ಎಂದು ಭ್ರಾಂತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗಲೂ, ಭರವಸವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದೆನು.

I said in my haste, "All men are liars."

12 ೧೨ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಹೋಪಕಾರಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲೇನು ಮಾಡಲಿ?

What will I give to YHWH for all his benefits toward me?

13 ೧೩ ರಕ್ಷಣಾಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತಿಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.

I will take the cup of salvation, and call on the name of YHWH.

14 ೧೪ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹೊತ್ತ ಹರಕೆಗಳನ್ನು, ಆತನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು.

I will pay my vows to YHWH, yes, in the presence of all his people.

15 ೧೫ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತರ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಪವೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

Precious in the sight of YHWH is the death of his faithful ones.

16 ೧೬ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಕರುಣಿಸು, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನು; ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯ ಮಗನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಬಂಧನಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಿ.

YHWH, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your handmaid. You have freed me from my chains.

17 ೧೭ ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವೆನು; ಯೆಹೋವನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತಿಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.

I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on the name of YHWH.

18 ೧೮ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂದಿರದ ಅಂಗಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ,

I will pay my vows to YHWH, yes, in the presence of all his people,

19 ೧೯ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹೊತ್ತ ಹರಕೆಗಳನ್ನು, ಆತನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ!

in the courts of YHWH's house, in the midst of you, Jerusalem. Praise JAH.
