ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 11

1 ೧ ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನದು. ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನೀವು, “ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವುದೇಕೆ?

Unto the end. A psalm for David. In the Lord I put my trust: how then do you say to my soul: Get thee away from hence to the mountain like a sparrow?

2 ೨ ದುಷ್ಟರು ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬಿಲ್ಲುಬೊಗ್ಗಿಸಿ, ಹೆದೆಗೆ ಬಾಣವನ್ನು ಹೂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನೋಡಿರಿ.

For, lo, the wicked have bent their bow; they have prepared their arrows in the quiver; to shoot in the dark the upright of heart.

3 ೩ ಆಧಾರಗಳೇ ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನ ಗತಿ ಏನಾದೀತು?

For they have destroyed the things which thou hast made: but what has the just man done?

4 ೪ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವನ್ನು ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಮಾನವರನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತವೆ; ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಹು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven. His eyes look on the poor man: his eyelids examine the sons of men.

5 ೫ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ಆತನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

The Lord trieth the just and the wicked: but he that loveth iniquity hateth his own soul.

6 ೬ ಆತನು ದುಷ್ಟರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಗಂಧಕಗಳನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಲಿ. ಉರಿಗಾಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪಾನವಾಗಮಾಡಲಿ.

He shall rain snares upon sinners: fire and brimstone and storms of winds shall be the portion of their cup.

7 ೭ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀತಿಸ್ವರೂಪನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಸಜ್ಜನರು ಆತನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೇರುವರು.

For the Lord is just, and hath loved justice: his countenance hath beheld righteousness.
