ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 30
And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes of the sons of Israel saying: This, is the thing which Yahweh hath commanded-
2 ೨ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹರಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ತಾನು ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದುದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದೆ ಇರುವೆನೆಂದು ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಮೀರದೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬೇಕು.
When, a man, shall vow a vow unto Yahweh, or swear an oath to bind a bond upon his soul, he shall not break his word, —according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth, shall he do.
3 ೩ “ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಕನ್ಯಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹರಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದೆ ಇರುವೆನೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ
And, when, a woman, shall vow a vow unto Yahweh, and bind a bond, in the house of her father, in her youth;
4 ೪ ಅವಳ ತಂದೆಯು ಆ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವಳು ಆ ಹರಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲೇಬೇಕು. ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದೆ ಇರುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳೋ ಅದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಲೇ ಬಾರದು.
and her father shall hear her vow or her bond which she bindeth upon her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her, then shall all her vows stand, and every bond which she hath bound upon her soul shall stand.
5 ೫ ಆದರೆ ತಂದೆ ಆ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಾಗ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಬಾರದೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಅವಳು ಮಾಡಿದ ಹರಕೆಗಳೂ, ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಗಳೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗುವವು. ತಂದೆ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ದೋಷಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
But, if her father forbade her, in the day when he heard, none of her vows or her bonds which she hath bound upon her soul, shall stand, —and, Yahweh, will pardon her, because her father forbade her.
But, if she, belonged to a husband, when her vows were taken upon her, —or a rash utterance fell from her lips, wherewith she put a bond upon her soul;
and her husband heard it, and on the day that he heard, he held his peace at her, then shall her vows stand and her bonds which she hath bound upon her soul, shall stand,
8 ೮ ಆದರೆ ಗಂಡನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗಲೇ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಆ ಹರಕೆಯು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯು ನಿರರ್ಥಕವಾಗುವವು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ದೋಷಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
But if, on the day her husband heard, he forbade her, then shall he have made of none effect her vow that is upon her, or the rash utterance of her lips, wherewith she put a bond upon her soul, —and, Yahweh, will pardon her.
9 ೯ “ವಿಧವೆಯು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಗಂಡನಿಂದ ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅದು ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು. ಅವಳು ಅದನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬೇಕು.
But as for the vow of a widow, or of a woman divorced, whatsoever she hath bound on her soul, shall stand against her.
But, if in the house of her husband, she vowed, or bound a bond upon her soul. with an oath;
and her husband heard, and held his peace at her, did not forbid her, then shall all her vows stand, and every bond which she hath bound upon her soul, shall stand.
12 ೧೨ ಆದರೆ ಗಂಡನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಾಗಲೇ ಬೇಡವೆಂದರೆ ಅವು ರದ್ದಾಗುವವು. ಗಂಡನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಂಥವಳು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹರಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ, ದೋಷಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
But if her husband, did make, them, of none effect, on the day he heard, nothing which came forth out of her lips—of her vows, or of the bond of her soul, shall stand, —her husband, made it of none effect, and Yahweh, will pardon her:
13 ೧೩ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹರಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಉಪವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವೆನೆಂದು ಅವಳು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ ರದ್ದುಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ ಗಂಡನಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿರುವುದು.
As for any vow, or any oath of binding, to humble one’s soul, her husband, may make it stand, or, her husband, may make it of none effect.
14 ೧೪ ಆದರೆ ಅವಳ ಗಂಡನು ಯಾವ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡದೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವಳ ಹರಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ನಮೂದಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಆಗುವುದು.
But if her husband do hold his peace, at her, from day to day, then shall he cause all her vows to stand, or all her bonds which are upon her, —cause them to stand, because he held his peace at her, on the day when he heard.
And, if he, do make them of none effect, after that he hath heard them, then shall he bear her iniquity.
16 ೧೬ ಗಂಡಹೆಂಡತಿಯರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಮದುವೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಹೆಂಗಸು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ತಂದೆ ಇವರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಹರಕೆಗಳ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಇವೇ.
These are the statutes which Yahweh commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, in her youth in the house of her father.
