ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 3
Now, these, were the pedigrees of Aaron and Moses, —in the day when Yahweh spake with Moses in Mount Sinai.
And these, are the names of the sons of Aaron—the firstborn Nadab, —and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
These, are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests that were anointed, —who were installed to minister as priests.
4 ೪ ಆದರೆ ನಾದಾಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೀಹೂ ಎಂಬುವವರು ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸದೇ ಇದ್ದ ಬೇರೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಸತ್ತು ಹೋದರು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಈತಾಮಾರ್ ಎಂಬಿಬ್ಬರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಕೈಕೆಳಗೆ ಯಾಜಕಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
But Nadab and Abihu died before Yahweh when they brought near strange fire before Yahweh in the desert of Sinai, and sons, had they none, —so then Eleazar and Ithamar ministered as priests, in the presence of Aaron their father.
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
6 ೬ “ನೀನು ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಲದವರನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಆರೋನನ ಕೈಕೆಳಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸು.
Bring near the tribe of Levi, and thou shalt cause it to stand before Aaron the priest, —so shall they wait upon him;
7 ೭ “ಅವರು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಆರೋನನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಸೇವಾಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು.
so shall they keep his charge, and the charge of all the assembly, before the tent of meeting, —to do the laborious work of the habitation;
so shall they have charge of all the furniture of the tent of meeting, even the charge of the sons of Israel, —to do the laborious work of the habitation.
9 ೯ “ನೀನು ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋನನಿಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಇವರೇ.
Thus shalt thou give the Levites unto Aaron and unto his sons, —given, given, they are unto him, from among the sons of Israel;
10 ೧೦ ಯಾಜಕ ಉದ್ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆರೋನನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇತರರು ಆ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮರಣಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
but unto Aaron, and unto his sons, shalt thou give oversight, so shall they keep charge of their priesthood, —and, the stranger who cometh near, shall be put to death.
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying—
12 ೧೨ “ನಾನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದ ಗಂಡಸರಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೋ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಲೇವಿಯರು ನನ್ನ ಸೊತ್ತು.
I, therefore, lo! I have taken the Levites out of the midst of the sons of Israel, instead of every firstborn that a mother beareth, from among the sons of Israel, —so shall the Levites be mine;
13 ೧೩ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವರು ನನ್ನ ಸೊತ್ತು. ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಾನು ಸಂಹಾರಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ, ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆನು; ಅವರು ನನ್ನವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
for, mine, is every firstborn, in the day when I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt, I hallowed unto myself every firstborn in Israel, both of man and of beast, —mine, did they become, and belong unto me, Yahweh.
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, in the desert of Sinai, saying: —
15 ೧೫ “ನೀನು ಲೇವಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳ ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗೋತ್ರಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
Number thou the sons of Levi, by their ancestral houses, by their families, —every male, from one month old and upwards, shalt thou number them.
So then Moses numbered them according to the bidding of Yahweh, —as he was commanded.
And these were the sons of Levi, by their names, —Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
And these, the names of the sons of Gershon by their families, —Libni and Shimei.
And, the sons of Kohath, by their families Amram, and Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.
And the sons of Merari by their families, Mahli and Mushi. These, are they—the families of the Levites by their ancestral houses.
To, Gershon, belonged the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites, —these, are they—the families of the Gershonites.
They who were numbered of them in the counting of every male, from one month old, and upwards, —they who were num-bered of them, were seven thousand and five hundred.
23 ೨೩ ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರ ಗೋತ್ರದವರು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಂದರೆ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
the families of the Gershonites, to the rear of the habitation, were to encamp, westward.
And, the prince of the ancestral house of the Gershonites, was Eliasaph son of Lael.
25 ೨೫ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗೇರ್ಷೋನನ ವಂಶದವರು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದವುಗಳು ಯಾವುದೆಂದರೆ: ಗುಡಾರ ಅದರ ಮೇಲಣ ಡೇರೆಯ ಬಟ್ಟೆ, ಅದರ ಮೇಲ್ಹೊದಿಕೆ, ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪರದೆಗಳು,
And, the charge, of the sons of Gershon, was over the tent of meeting, the habitation, and the tent, —the covering thereof, and the screen for the entrance of the tent of meeting;
26 ೨೬ ಗುಡಾರದ ಮತ್ತು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಅಂಗಳದ ತೆರೆಗಳೂ, ಅಂಗಳದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಪರದೆಗಳು, ಇವುಗಳ ಹಗ್ಗಗಳೂ ಇವೇ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಕಲವಿಧವಾದ ಸೇವಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the entrance of the court which was near the habitation and near the altar, round about, —and the cords thereof, as to all the laborious work thereof.
27 ೨೭ ಕೆಹಾತ್ ವಂಶದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ರಾಮ್ ಗೋತ್ರದವರು, ಇಚ್ಹಾರ್ ಗೋತ್ರದವರೂ, ಹೆಬ್ರೋನ್ ಗೋತ್ರದವರೂ, ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೇಲ್ ಗೋತ್ರದವರೂ ಇದ್ದರು.
And to Kohath, belonged the family of the Amramites and the family of the Izharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites, —these, are they—the families of the Kohathites.
28 ೨೮ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳತಕ್ಕವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳ ಗಂಡಸರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 8,600 ಮಂದಿ.
In, the counting of every male, from one month old and upwards, there were eight thousand and six hundred, to keep the charge of the sanctuary.
The, families of the sons of Kohath, were to encamp, —on the side of the habitation, south-ward.
And the prince of the ancestral house of the families of the Kohathites, was Elizaphan, son of Uzziel.
31 ೩೧ ಅವರು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದವುಗಳು ಯಾವುದೆಂದರೆ: ಮಂಜೂಷವು, ಮೇಜು, ದೀಪಸ್ತಂಭಗಳು, ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗಳು, ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಸೇವೆಯ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು, ಒಳಗಣ ತೆರೆಗಳು ಇವುಗಳೇ. ಇವುಗಳ ಸಕಲವಿಧವಾದ ಸೇವಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
And their charge, was—the ark and the table and the lampstand and the altars, and the utensils of the sanctuary wherewith they were to minister, —and the screen, as to all the laborious work thereof.
32 ೩೨ ಅದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕ ಆರೋನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಪ್ರಧಾನಪುರುಷರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
And the prince of the princes of the Levites, was Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, —to have the oversight of them that were to keep the charge of the sanctuary.
To Merari, belonged the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites, —these, are they—the families of Merari.
And they who were numbered of them in the counting of every male, from one month old and upwards, were six thousand, and two hundred.
35 ೩೫ ಮೆರಾರೀಯರ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಧಾನಪುರುಷನು ಅಬೀಹೈಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಚೂರೀಯೇಲ್. ಇವರು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
And the prince of the ancestral house of the families of Merari, was Zuriel son of Abihail, —on the side of the habitation, were they to encamp northward.
36 ೩೬ ಮೆರಾರೀ ವಂಶದವರು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದವುಗಳು ಯಾವುವೆಂದರೆ: ಗುಡಾರದ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟುಗಳು, ಅಗುಳಿಗಳು, ಕಂಬಗಳು, ಗದ್ದಿಗೆಕಲ್ಲುಗಳು, ಇವುಗಳ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು,
And the oversight of the charge of the sons of Merari, was—the boards of the habitation, and the bars thereof and the pillars thereof and the sockets thereof, —and all the furniture thereof, as to all the laborious work thereof;
37 ೩೭ ಅಂಗಳದ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಕಂಬಗಳು, ಇವುಗಳ ಗದ್ದಿಗೆಕಲ್ಲುಗಳು, ಗೂಟಗಳು, ಹಗ್ಗಗಳು ಇವುಗಳೇ. ಇವುಗಳ ಸಕಲ ವಿಧವಾದ ಸೇವಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಇವರೇ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
also the pillars of the court round about and their sockets, —and their pins and their cords.
38 ೩೮ ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಸೂರ್ಯೋದಯವಾಗುವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆ, ಆರೋನನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಡೇರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವಾಗಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇತರರು ಆ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕೈಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮರಣಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು.
But, they who were to encamp before the habitation eastwards before the tent of meeting, towards sunrise, were Moses and Aaron and his sons. to keep the charge of the sanctuary, as the charge of the sons of Israel and, the stranger that came near, was to be put to death.
39 ೩೯ ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿದ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಅಂದರೆ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳ ಗಂಡಸರ ಒಟ್ಟು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 22,000 ಮಂದಿ.
All they who were numbered of the Levites whom Moses [and Aaron] numbered at the bidding of Yahweh by their families, —every male, from one month old and upwards, were two-and-twenty thousand.
40 ೪೦ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನು ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಎಣಿಕೆಮಾಡು.
And Yahweh said unto Moses: Number thou every firstborn male belonging to the sons of Israel, from one month old and upwards, —and reckon up the number of their names;
41 ೪೧ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವರಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲು ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ, ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು” ಎಂದನು.
then shalt thou take the Levites for me, me Yahweh, instead of every firstborn among the sons of Israel, —also the cattle of the Levites, instead of every firstling among the cattle of the sons of Israel.
So then Moses numbered, as Yahweh commanded him, —every firstborn among the sons of Israel.
43 ೪೩ ಹೆಸರು ಹಿಡಿದು ಎಣಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವರು ಅಂದರೆ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳ ಗಂಡಸರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 22,273 ಮಂದಿ.
And it was so—that all the firstborn of the males in the counting of names from one month old and upwards of such as were numbered of them, —were two-and-twenty thousand, two hundred and seventy-three.
Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying: —
45 ೪೫ “ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವರಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು, ಅವರ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೋ. ಲೇವಿಯರೇ ನನ್ನ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಿರುವರು; ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು.
Take the Levites, instead of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites, instead of their cattle, —so shall the Levites belong unto me, me Yahweh;
46 ೪೬ “ಲೇವಿಯರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ 273 ಮಂದಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಐದೈದು ಶೆಕೆಲ್ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಈಡು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
and as the ransom of the two hundred and seventy-three, —who are more than the Levites, of the firstborn of the sons of Israel,
47 ೪೭ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ಶೆಕೆಲ್ ಗಳ ಮೇರೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಐದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
thou shalt take five shekels apiece by the poll, —by the shekel of the sanctuary, shalt thou take it, twenty gerahs to the shekel;
48 ೪೮ ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವವರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವರು ಕೊಡುವ ಹಣವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಆರೋನನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು” ಎಂದನು.
and shalt give the silver to Aaron and to his sons, —as the ransom of them that are in excess over them.
So Moses took the redemption silver from them who were in excess over them who were redeemed by the Levites:
50 ೫೦ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಾದವರಿಂದ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ನೇಮಕವಾದ ರೂಪಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 1,365 ಶೆಕೆಲ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು.
from the firstborn of the sons of Israel, took he the silver, —a thousand three hundred and sixty-five shekels, by the shekel of the sanctuary,
And Moses gave the redemption silver to Aaron and to his sons at the bidding of Yahweh, —As Yahweh commanded Moses.
