ಮೀಕನು 4
1 ೧ ಅಂತ್ಯಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂದಿರದ ಬೆಟ್ಟವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗುಡ್ಡ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ನೆಲೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವುದು. ಆಗ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಅದರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳಂತೆ ಬರುವರು.
Yahweh [says that] some day his temple will be on top of a mountain, and that mountain will be the most important [MET] one on the earth; it will be [as though it is] higher than all the hills, and huge groups of people from all over the world will come there [to worship].
2 ೨ ಹೊರಟುಬಂದ ಬಹು ದೇಶಗಳವರು, “ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ, ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರ ದೇವರ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ, ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಬೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡುವನು, ನಾವು ಆತನ ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವೆವು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಾಕ್ಯವೂ ಹೊರಡುವವು.
[People from] many nations will say [to each other], “Let’s go to the mountain where Yahweh is, to the temple where we can worship the God whom Jacob [worshiped]. There God will teach us how he wants us to conduct our lives, and we will do what he wants us to do.” Zion [Hill] is the place where he will teach [people]; and [people will go] out from Jerusalem [to tell others] his messages.
3 ೩ ಆತನು ಬಹು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದವರ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವನು, ಪ್ರಬಲ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವನು. ಅವರೋ ತಮ್ಮ ಕತ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಲುಮೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಗುಳಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಬರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಡುಗೋಲುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುವರು. ಜನಾಂಗವು ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೆತ್ತದು. ಇನ್ನು ಯುದ್ಧಾಭ್ಯಾಸವು ನಡೆಯುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
Yahweh will settle disputes between many people, and he will [also] settle disputes between powerful nations that are far away. Then people will hammer their swords to cause them to become plow blades, and [hammer] their spears to cause them to become pruning knives. [Armies of] nations will no [longer] fight against [armies of other] nations, and they will no longer train [men how to fight] in wars.
4 ೪ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆ ಅಂಜೂರಗಿಡ ಇವುಗಳ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಹೆದರಿಸರು. ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Everyone will sit [peacefully] under his own grapevines, and under his own fig trees; no one will cause them to be afraid. [That is what will surely happen] because the Commander of the armies of angels has said it.
5 ೫ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತವೆ. ನಾವಾದರೋ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತದವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವೆವು.
Many [HYP] [of the people of other] nations will worship [IDM] their own gods, but we will worship Yahweh our God always, forever.
6 ೬ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ದೈಹಿಕವಾಗಿ ಊನವಾದ ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸುವೆನು, ನಾನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿ ತಳ್ಳಿದ ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸುವೆನು.
Yahweh says, “There will soon be a time when I will gather the people whom I have punished, who have been (exiled/forced to go to other countries), all those whom [I have caused to] suffer much.
7 ೭ ಆ ಊನವಾದ ಜನವನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ ಕಾಪಾಡುವೆನು, ದೂರತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಬಲ ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವೆನು, ಯೆಹೋವನು ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಅವರ ರಾಜನಾಗಿರುವನು.
My people who did not die while they were exiled will become a strong nation [again]. Then [I], Yahweh, will be their king, and I will rule from Jerusalem forever.
8 ೮ ಕುರಿಮಂದೆಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಗೋಪುರವೇ, ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಯುವತಿಯ ಸುಭದ್ರ ಕೋಟೆಯೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಆಡಳಿತವು ನಿನಗೆ ದೊರೆಯುವುದು. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ಪುರಿಯ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರವು ನಿನಗೆ ಲಭಿಸುವುದು.
As for you people of Jerusalem [MET], you who [guard all of my people] like [MET] [a shepherd guards his sheep] from a tower, you [who live on] Zion [Hill], will have great power again. You people who live in Jerusalem will again rule like you did previously.
9 ೯ ನೀನೀಗ ರೋದಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದೇಕೆ? ಪ್ರಸವವೇದನೆಯಷ್ಟು ಕಠಿಣವಾದ ಯಾತನೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವೇನು? ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜನಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ನಿನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನಾಕರ್ತನು ನಾಶವಾದನೋ?
[So] why [RHQ] are you wailing now? Is it because you have no king? Have all your wise people died? You are groaning loudly like [SIM] a woman who is giving birth to a baby.
10 ೧೦ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಯುವತಿಯೇ, ಹೆರುವವಳಂತೆ ವೇದನೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗು, ಯಾತನೆಪಡು. ನೀನೀಗ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಸೇರುವಿ. ಅಲ್ಲೇ ನಿನಗೆ ಉದ್ಧಾರವಾಗುವುದು. ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವನು.
[Well], you people of Jerusalem should writhe and groan like [SIM] a woman who is having birth pains, because now you must leave this city, and [while you are traveling], you will set up tents in open fields [at night]; you will go to [live in] Babylon. [But while you are] there, [I], Yahweh, will rescue you; I will free you from the power/control [MTY] of your enemies.
11 ೧೧ ‘ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ಹೊಲಸಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಲಿ. ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ನಾಶನವನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣು ತುಂಬಾ ನೋಡೋಣ’” ಎಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸುವ ಬಹು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದಿವೆ.
Now [the armies of] many nations have gathered to attack you. They are saying, ‘Jerusalem must be destroyed! We want to see this city [when it becomes ruins]!’
12 ೧೨ ಆಹಾ, ಅವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿಲ್ಲ, ಆತನ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಸಿವುಡುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ.
But they do not know what [I], Yahweh, think, and they do not understand what I plan: I will gather them [and punish them] like [SIM] [farmers] thresh grain on the ground.
13 ೧೩ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ನಗರಿಯೇ ಎದ್ದು ಒಕ್ಕಣೆ ಮಾಡು, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗೊರಸನ್ನು ತಾಮ್ರದ ಗೊರಸನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ನೀನು ಬಹು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಚೂರುಚೂರಾಗಿ ತುಳಿದುಬಿಡುವಿ, ಆ ದೇಶಗಳು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ್ದ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿಡುವೆ. ಅವರ ಆಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಲೋಕದ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸುವಿ.
So, you people of Jerusalem, rise up and punish [MET] [the nations who oppose you]. I will cause you [to be very strong], [as if] [MET] you had horns made of iron, [as if] [MET] you had hoofs made of bronze; and you will crush many nations. And [then you will take] from your enemies the valuable things that they have taken [from other countries], and you will dedicate those things to [me, the one who is] the Lord of all [the people on] the earth.”
