ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 25
And Yahweh spake unto Moses in Mount Sinai, saying—
2 ೨ “ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು, ‘ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಬಂದಾಗ ಆ ದೇಶವೂ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.
Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them: —When ye enter into the land which, I, am giving you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto Yahweh.
3 ೩ ಆರು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ನೀವು ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಬಹುದು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ತೋಟದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಬಹುದು ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಲತೋಟಗಳ ಬೆಳೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಬಹುದು.
Six years, shalt thou sow thy field, and, six years, shalt thou prune thy vineyard, —and gather the increase thereof;
4 ೪ ಆದರೆ ಏಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷ ಯಾವ ವ್ಯವಸಾಯ ಮಾಡಬಾರದ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಕಾಲವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ಕಾಲವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಬಾರದು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟದ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಾರದು.
but, in the seventh year—a sabbath of sacred rest, shall there be unto the land, a sabbath unto Yahweh: thy field, shalt thou not sow, and, thy vineyard, shalt thou not prune;
5 ೫ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ಪೈರನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು, ನೀವು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಬಾರದು. ಆ ವರ್ಷವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯಿರಬೇಕು.
that which groweth of itself of thy harvest, shalt thou not reap; and the grapes of thine unpruned vines, shalt thou not cut off: a year of sacred rest, shall there be to the land.
6 ೬ ಆದರೆ ಅಂತಹ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ನಿಮಗೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಾಸದಾಸಿಯರಿಗೂ, ಕೂಲಿಯವರಿಗೂ,
So shall the sabbath of the land be unto you for food: unto thee, and unto thy servant and unto thy handmaid, —and unto thy hireling, and unto thy settlers that are sojourning with thee;
and unto thy tame-beasts, and unto the wild-beasts that are in thy land, shall belong all the increase thereof for food.
8 ೮ “‘ಅದಲ್ಲದೆ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೊಂದರಂತೆ ಏಳು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆ ಏಳು ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ಸಂವತ್ಸರಗಳ ಕಾಲವು ಅಂದರೆ ನಲ್ವತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಕಳೆಯಬೇಕು.
And thou shalt count to thee seven weeks of years, seven years, seven times, —so shall the days of the seven weeks of years become to thee forty-nine years.
9 ೯ ಆಮೇಲೆ ಏಳನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಊದಿಸಬೇಕು. ಸಕಲ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕವಾದ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಊದಿಸಬೇಕು.
Then shalt thou cause a signal-horn to pass through in the seventh month, on the tenth of the month: on the Day of Propitiation, shall ye cause a horn to pass throughout all your land.
10 ೧೦ ನೀವು ಐವತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷವನ್ನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾದ ವರ್ಷವೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಯಿತು ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಸಾರಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರವಾದುದರಿಂದ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಭೂಮಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಇರಬಹುದು.
So shall ye hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim freedom throughout the land to all the dwellers thereof, —a jubilee, shall it be unto you, and ye shall return, every man unto his possession, and every man unto his family, shall ye return.
11 ೧೧ ಆ ಐವತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಬಾರದು, ತಾನಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ಪೈರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು; ನೀವು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಲತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳದ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಬಾರದು.
A jubilee, shall that fiftieth year be unto you, —ye shall not sow, neither shall ye reap the self-grown corn thereof, nor cut off the grapes of the unpruned vines thereof.
12 ೧೨ ಅದು ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ವರ್ಷವಾದುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ಮೀಸಲಾದದ್ದೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದದ್ದನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
For, a jubilee, it is, holy, shall it be unto you, —out of the field, shall ye eat her increase.
In this same jubilee year, shall ye return every man unto his possession.
And when ye sell anything to thy neighbour, or buy aught at thy neighbour’s hand, do not overreach one another.
15 ೧೫ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟು ವರ್ಷವಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿ, ಸ್ವದೇಶದವನಿಂದ ಕ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಅದರಂತೆ ಮಾರುವವನು ಎಷ್ಟು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬೆಳೆಯಾಯಿತೆಂದು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿ ಕ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.
By the number of years after the jubilee, shalt thou buy of thy neighbour, —by the number of the years of increase, shall he sell unto thee;
16 ೧೬ ಮುಂದಣ ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ತನಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವರ್ಷಗಳಾದರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕ್ರಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಬೇಕು, ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾದರೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಮಾರುವುದು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನಲ್ಲ, ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬೆಳೆಗಳನ್ನೇ ಮಾರುತ್ತಾನಲ್ಲಾ.
according to the multitude of the years, shalt thou increase the price thereof, and, according to the fewness of the years, shalt thou diminish the price thereof, —because the sum of the increase, it is that he selleth thee.
17 ೧೭ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಒಬ್ಬರಿಗೊಬ್ಬರು ಅನ್ಯಾಯಮಾಡಬಾರದು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು; ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು.
So then ye shall not overreach one another; but thou shalt stand in awe of thy God, —for, I—Yahweh, am your God.
Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and my regulations, shall ye observe and do them, —so shall ye dwell upon the land with confidence;
19 ೧೯ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಫಲವತ್ತಾಗುವುದು, ನೀವು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಊಟಮಾಡುವಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ನಿರ್ಭಯವಾಗಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವಿರಿ.
and the land shall yield her fruit; and ye shall eat to the full, —and shall dwell with confidence thereupon.
20 ೨೦ “‘ಏಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ, ಬೆಳೆದದ್ದನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಇಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ; ಆ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು?’ ಎಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುತ್ತೀರೋ
And since ye may say, What shall we eat in the seventh year? Lo! we are not to sow, neither are we to gather our increase!
Therefore will I command my blessing upon you, in the sixth year, —and it shall make the increase of three years;
22 ೨೨ ನೀವು ಎಂಟನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತಿ, ಅದರ ಬೆಳೆ ದೊರೆಯುವ ತನಕ ಅಂದರೆ ಒಂಭತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ವರೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ಬೆಳೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಜೀವನಮಾಡುವಿರಿ.
and ye shall sow, the eighth year, and eat of old store, —until the ninth year until the coming in of the increase thereof, shall ye eat old store.
23 ೨೩ “‘ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ಮಾರಬಾರದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಭೂಮಿ ನನ್ನದು; ನೀವಾದರೋ ಪರದೇಶದವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡವರು.
The land moreover shall not be sold beyond recovery, for, mine, is the land, —for, sojourners and settlers, ye are with me.
24 ೨೪ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನ ಸ್ವತ್ತಿನ ಭೂಮಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಈಡುಕೊಟ್ಟು ಬಿಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವು ಕೊಟ್ಟವನಿಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕು.
And, in all the land of your possession, a right of redemption, shall ye give to the land.
25 ೨೫ “‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬಡವನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಏನಾದರೂ ಮಾರಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವನ ಸಮೀಪವಾದ ಬಂಧುವು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
When thy brother waxeth poor, and so selleth aught of his possession, then may his kinsman that is near unto him come in, and redeem that which was sold by his brother.
26 ೨೬ ಬಿಡಿಸುವ ಬಂಧುವು ಇಲ್ಲದೆಹೋದ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರಿದವನೇ ಸ್ಥಿತಿವಂತನಾಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಷ್ಟು ಹಣವನ್ನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದರೆ,
And, when, any man, hath no kinsman, —but his own hand getteth enough, so that he findeth what is needed to redeem it,
27 ೨೭ ಆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾರಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಉಳಿದ ಕ್ರಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.
then shall he reckon the years since he sold it, and restore the overplus to the man to whom he sold it, —and shall return to his possession.
28 ೨೮ ಅವನು ಆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಅದು ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ತನಕ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡವನ ವಶದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುವುದು; ಆಗ ಆ ಭೂಮಿ ಪುನಃ ಮಾರಿದವನ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದು.
But, if his hand have not found enough to get it back unto him, then shall that which he sold remain in the hand of him that bought it, until the year of the jubilee, —and shall go out in the jubilee, and he shall return unto his possession.
29 ೨೯ “‘ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಪೌಳಿ ಗೋಡೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾರಿದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾರಿದ ದಿನ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗುವುದರೊಳಗೆ ಈಡುಕೊಟ್ಟು ಬಿಡಿಸಬಹುದು; ಪೂರಾ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ತನಕ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವು ಅವನಿಗಿರುವುದು.
And, when, any man, selleth a dwelling-house in a walled city, then shall his right of redemption remain until the completion of a year after he sold it, —for, [a year of] days, shall his right of redemption remain.
30 ೩೦ ಪೌಳಿಗೋಡೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆ ಮನೆ ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಬಿಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದೆ ಹೋದರೆ, ಅದು ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾರಿದವನಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು.
But, if it be not redeemed before the end of a full year, then shall the house that is in the city that hath walls be confirmed, beyond recovery, to him who bought it, unto his generations, —it shall not go out in the jubilee.
31 ೩೧ ಪೌಳಿಗೋಡೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮನೆಗಳು ಬಯಲಿನ ಹೊಲಗಳಂತೆ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿದ್ದು, ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುವವು.
But as for the houses of villages which have no wall round about them, with the fields of land, shall it be reckoned, —a right of redemption, shall belong to it, and, in the jubilee, shall it go out.
32 ೩೨ ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಮನೆಗಳು ಮಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವು ಲೇವಿಯರಿಗೆ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಇರುವುದು.
And as for the cities of the Levites, the houses of the cities of their possession, an age-abiding right of redemption, shall pertain unto the Levites.
33 ೩೩ ಲೇವಿಯರೊಳಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸದೆಹೋದರೆ, ಲೇವಿಯರ ಸ್ವಂತವಾಗಿರುವ ಅಂತಹ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಮನೆ ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುವುದು. ಲೇವಿಯರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಮನೆಗಳು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವರ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಷ್ಡೆ.
And, if one of the Levites should not redeem, then shall the sale of the house and the city of his possession go out in the jubilee; for, the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession, in the midst of the sons of Israel.
But the field of the pasture-land of their cities, shall not be sold, —for an age-abiding possession, it is unto them.
35 ೩೫ “‘ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಹೋದರನು ಬಡತನದಿಂದ ಗತಿಹೀನನಾದರೆ, ಅವನು ಬದುಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ನೀವು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಡುವೆ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಂಡ ವಿದೇಶೀಯನೆಂದು ಅಥವಾ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
And, when thy brother waxeth poor, and his hand becometh feeble with thee, then shalt thou strengthen him, as a sojourner and a settler, so shall he live with thee.
36 ೩೬ ನೀವು ಅವನಿಂದ ಬಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಲಾಭವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು; ಅವನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬದುಕುವಂತೆ ನೀವು ದೇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.
Do not accept from him interest or profit, but stand thou in awe of thy God, —so shall thy brother live with thee.
Thy silver, shalt thou not give him on interest, —neither, for profit, shalt thou give him thy food.
38 ೩೮ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು; ನಿಮಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿದವನು ನಾನೇ.
I—Yahweh, am your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, —to give unto you the land of Canaan, to become your God,
And when thy brother waxeth poor with thee, and so selleth himself unto thee, thou shalt not bind him with the bondage of a bondman:
40 ೪೦ ಅವನು ಕೂಲಿಯವನಂತೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಂತೆಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ತನಕ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿ.
as a hired servant, as a settler, shall he remain with thee, —until the year of the jubilee, shall he serve with thee:
41 ೪೧ ಆಗ ಅವನನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಬೇಕು; ಅವನು ಸ್ವಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಪಿತ್ರಾರ್ಜಿತ ಸ್ವತ್ತಿಗೂ ಹೋಗಬಹುದು.
then shall he go forth from thee, he and his sons with him, —and shall return unto his family, and unto the possession of his fathers, shall he return.
42 ೪೨ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಗುಲಾಮರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿದೆನು; ದಾಸರನ್ನು ಮಾರುವಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಾರಬಾರದು.
For, my bondmen, they are, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt, —they shall not sell themselves with the sale of a bondman.
Thou shalt not rule over him with rigour, —so shalt thou stand in awe of thy God.
And as for thy bondman and thy bond-maid which thou shalt have, of the nations that are round about you—from them, may ye buy bondman and bond-maid.
45 ೪೫ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಡುವೆ ಇರುವ ವಿದೇಶಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರನ್ನೂ ಕ್ರಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು; ಅಂಥವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸೊತ್ತಾಗಬಹುದು.
Moreover also, of the sons of the settlers who are sojourning with you—of them, may ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they have begotten in your land, —so shall they become yours, as a possession;
46 ೪೬ ನೀವು ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿಮ್ಮ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಬಿಡಬಹುದು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತ ದಾಸರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಾದ ನೀವಾದರೋ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಹೋದರರಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬರಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಾರದು.
and ye may take them as an inheritance for your sons after you to inherit as a possession, unto times age-abiding, of them, may ye take to be bondmen, —but, over your brethren the sons of Israel—a man over his brother, ye shall not rule, over him with rigour.
47 ೪೭ “‘ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಬಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಡುವೆ ಮನೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಧನವಂತನಾದ ಅನ್ಯದೇಶದವನಿಗಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವನಿಗಾಗಲಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಾರಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಬಹುದು.
And, when the hand of the sojourner and settler with thee getteth possessions, and thy brother with him, waxeth poor, —and so he selleth himself to the sojourner [who is] a settler with thee, or to one who hath taken root, of the family of the sojourner,
after that he hath sold himself, a right of redemption, pertaineth to him, —one of his brethren, may redeem him;
49 ೪೯ ಅವನ ದೊಡ್ಡಪ್ಪ, ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪಂದಿರಾಗಲಿ, ಇವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಸಮೀಪಬಂಧುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೇ ಆಗಲಿ ಈಡುಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಬಹುದು. ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಹಣವು ದೊರೆತರೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಬಿಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು.
or, his uncle or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or, a near flesh-relation of his, of his family, may redeem him, or, his own hand may have gotten enough, and, so he may redeem himself.
50 ೫೦ ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಾರಿಕೊಂಡ ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಮುಂದಣ ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದ ತನಕ ದಣಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಆ ಲೆಕ್ಕದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯ ಕ್ರಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಕೂಲಿಯವನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಅವನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
Then shall he reckon with him that bought him, from the year that he was sold to him, unto the year of the jubilee, —and the silver for which he was sold shall be by the number of years, according to the days of a hired servant, shall he be with him.
51 ೫೧ ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರವು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನು ಅನೇಕ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ತನ್ನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯ ಕ್ರಯವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.
If there is yet a multitude of years, according to them, shall he return, as his redemption price, of the silver of him that bought him.
Or, if [there is] but a small remainder of years, until the year of the jubilee, then shall he reckon to himself, according to the years thereof, shall he return his price of redemption.
53 ೫೩ ಅವನು ವರ್ಷವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಕೂಲಿಯವನಂತೆಯೇ ದಣಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರಬೇಕು. ಆ ದಣಿ ಅವನಿಂದ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ನೋಡಿ ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಇರಬಾರದು.
As a servant hired year by year, shall he be with him, he shall not rule over him with rigour, before thine eyes.
54 ೫೪ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಜೂಬಿಲಿ ಸಂವತ್ಸರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು.
But if he be not redeemed in any of these ways, then shall he go out in the jubilee year, he, and his sons with him.
55 ೫೫ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ನನ್ನ ದಾಸರೇ; ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿದೆನಲ್ಲವೇ. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು’” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
For, unto me, are the sons of Israel, bondmen, my bondmen, they are, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt. I, Yahweh, am your God.
