ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು 13
1 ೧ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ತಿರುಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಾದುದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
The children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of YHWH; and YHWH delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.
2 ೨ ಚೊರ್ಗಾ ಎಂಬ ಊರಲ್ಲಿ ದಾನ್ ಕುಲದವನಾದ ಮಾನೋಹ ಎಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯು ಬಂಜೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
There was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and did not bear.
3 ೩ ಒಂದಾನೊಂದು ದಿನ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನು ಆಕೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗಿ, “ಇಗೋ, ಬಂಜೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವ ನೀನು ಗರ್ಭವತಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆರುವಿ.
The angel of YHWH appeared to the woman, and said to her, "See now, you are barren, and do not bear; but you shall conceive, and bear a son.
4 ೪ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಜಾಗರೂಕತೆಯಿಂದಿರು; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವ ಮದ್ಯವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯದಿರು; ಯಾವ ನಿಷಿದ್ಧ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡದಿರು.
Now therefore please be careful and drink no wine nor strong drink, and do not eat any unclean thing.
5 ೫ ನೀನು ಗರ್ಭವತಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೆರುವ ಮಗನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕ್ಷೌರದ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಲೇಬಾರದು; ಅವನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತನಾಗಿರುವನು; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸುವನು” ಅಂದನು.
For look, you shall conceive, and bear a son; and no razor will come on his head; for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb. And he shall begin to save Israel out of the hand of the Philistines."
6 ೬ ತರುವಾಯ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ತನ್ನ ಗಂಡನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, “ಒಬ್ಬ ದೇವರಪುರುಷನು ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ರೂಪವು ದೇವದೂತನ ರೂಪದಂತಿದ್ದು ಭಯಂಕರನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವನೂ ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, "A man of God came to me, and his face was like the face of the angel of God, very awesome; and I didn't ask him where he was from, neither did he tell me his name,
7 ೭ ಆದರೆ ನನಗೆ, ‘ನೀನು ಗರ್ಭವತಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆರುವಿ; ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವ ಮದ್ಯವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯದಿರು, ಯಾವ ನಿಷಿದ್ಧಾಹಾರವನ್ನೂ ಮುಟ್ಟಬೇಡ; ಆ ಹುಡುಗನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಸಾಯುವ ವರೆಗೆ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತನಾಗಿರುವನು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು” ಅಂದಳು.
but he said to me, 'Look, you shall conceive, and bear a son. And now drink no wine nor strong drink, and do not eat any unclean thing; for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb until the day of his death.'"
8 ೮ ಮಾನೋಹನು ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ, “ಸ್ವಾಮೀ, ದಯವಿರಲಿ; ನೀನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ದೇವಪುರುಷನು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಸಾರಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಹುಟ್ಟಲಿಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಮಗುವಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಲಿ” ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಮೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
Then Manoah pleaded with YHWH, and said, "Oh, Lord, please let the man of God whom you did send come again to us, and teach us what we shall do to the child who shall be born."
God listened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again to the woman as she sat in the field: but Manoah, her husband, wasn't with her.
10 ೧೦ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯು ಬೇಗನೆ ಗಂಡನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, “ಮೊನ್ನೆ ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದ ಪುರುಷನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಲು
The woman ran quickly, and told her husband, and said to him, "Look, the man who came to me the other day has appeared to me."
11 ೧೧ ಅವನೆದ್ದು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೊಡನೆ ಬಂದು ಆ ಪುರುಷನಿಗೆ, “ಮೊನ್ನೆ ಈಕೆಯೊಡನೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದವನು ನೀನೋ” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವನು, “ಹೌದು, ನಾನೇ” ಅಂದನು.
Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said to him, "Are you the man who spoke to the woman?" He said, "I am."
12 ೧೨ ಆಗ ಮಾನೋಹನು, “ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ನೆರವೇರಿದಾಗ ನಾವು ಆ ಮಗುವಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನು? ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬೆಳೆಸಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು
Manoah said, "Now let your word happen. How shall the child be raised and what is he to do?"
The angel of YHWH said to Manoah, "Of all that I said to the woman let her be careful.
14 ೧೪ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾಫಲವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನದಿರಲಿ; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವ ಮದ್ಯವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯದಿರಲಿ; ನಿಷಿದ್ಧಾಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದಿರಲಿ; ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ” ಅಂದನು.
She may not eat of anything that comes of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing. All that I have commanded her she is to observe."
15 ೧೫ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನೋಹನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನನ್ನು, “ನಾವು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಒಂದು ಹೋತಮರಿಯನ್ನು ಪಕ್ವಮಾಡಿ ತರುವವರೆಗೆ ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಇಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
Manoah said to the angel of YHWH, "Please, stay a bit longer that we may prepare a young goat for you."
16 ೧೬ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನು ಮಾನೋಹನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಊಟಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಜ್ಞಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸು” ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನೆಂಬುದು ಮಾನೋಹನಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
The angel of YHWH said to Manoah, "Though you detain me, I won't eat of your bread. And if you prepare a burnt offering, you must offer it to YHWH." For Manoah did not know that he was the angel of YHWH.
17 ೧೭ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಆ ದೂತನನ್ನು, “ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ನೆರವೇರಿದಾಗ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರೇನು” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.
Manoah said to the angel of YHWH, "What is your name, that when your words come true we may honor you?"
And the angel of YHWH said to him, "Why do you ask for my name? It is incomprehensible."
19 ೧೯ ಮಾನೋಹನು ಹೋತಮರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಧಾನ್ಯದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ತಂದು ಬಂಡೆಯ ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು. ಮಾನೋಹನೂ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೂ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಯೆಹೋವನ ದೂತನು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದನು.
So Manoah took the young goat and a grain offering, and offered it on the rock to YHWH, YHWH who works wonders. And Manoah and his wife looked on.
20 ೨೦ ಏನೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯಿಂದ ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಜ್ವಾಲೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೇರಿ ಹೋದನು. ಅವರು ಇದನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಲೆ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೋರಲುಬಿದ್ದರು.
For it happened, when the flame went up toward the sky from off the altar, that the angel of YHWH ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on, and they fell on their faces to the ground.
But the angel of YHWH did not appear again to Manoah or to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was the angel of YHWH.
Manoah said to his wife, "We shall surely die, because we have seen God."
23 ೨೩ ಆದರೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಆತನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನೂ, ನೈವೇದ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಈಗ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಮಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ” ಅಂದಳು.
But his wife said to him, "If YHWH meant to kill us, he wouldn't have received a burnt offering and a grain offering from us, neither would he have shown us all these things, nor would he have spoken to us now like this."
24 ೨೪ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಂಸೋನನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟಳು. ಹುಡುಗನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾದನು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವು ಅವನ ಮೇಲಿತ್ತು.
The woman bore a son, and named him Samson. And the child grew, and YHWH blessed him.
25 ೨೫ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಚೊರ್ಗಕ್ಕೂ, ಎಷ್ಟಾವೋಲಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಾನ್ ಕುಲದ ಪಾಳೆಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು.
And the Spirit of YHWH began to direct him in Mahaneh Dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.
