1 ೧ ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಮ್ಮ ವಶವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯ ಸಮೂಹದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರೂ ಶೀಲೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಬಂದು ದೇವದರ್ಶನದ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

8 ೮ ದೇಶದ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕ ಜನರು ಹೊರಡುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಹೋಗಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ಪಟ್ಟಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಶೀಲೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ. ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

9 ೯ ಆ ಜನರು ಹೊರಟು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ಒಂದು ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರ ಗ್ರಾಮ ನಗರಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬರೆದು ಏಳು ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಶೀಲೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನ ಪಾಳೆಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದರು.

14 ೧೪ ಅದರ ಮೇರೆಯ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ಮೂಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಅದು ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಿರ್ಯಾತ್ ಬಾಳ್ ಎನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಕಿರ್ಯಾತ್ಯಾರೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊನೆಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದೇ ಅವರ ಪಡುವಣ ಮೇರೆ.

16 ೧೬ ನೆಫ್ತೋಹ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆನ್ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮ್ ಕಣಿವೆಯ ಈಚೆಗೂ ರೆಫಾಯೀಮ್ ಕಣಿವೆಯ ಉತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಅಂಚಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಬೆನ್ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮ್ ಕಣಿವೆಯ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಏನರೋಗೆಲಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ.

17 ೧೭ ಅದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಏನ್ ಷೆಮೆಷಿಗೂ, ಅದುಮೀಮಿನ ದಾರಿಯ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗೆಲೀಲೋತಕ್ಕೆ ತಲುಪಿ ರೂಬೇನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೋಹನನ ಬಂಡೆಯ ತನಕ ಇಳಿದು,

28 ೨೮ ಚೇಲ, ಎಲೆಫ್, ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರು ಇದ್ದಂಥ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್, ಗಿಬೆಯತ್, ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ ಎಂಬ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು ಇವೇ. ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ದೊರಕಿದ ಸ್ವತ್ತು ಇವೇ.
