ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು 13
1 ೧ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ದಿನತುಂಬಿದ ಮುದುಕನಾಗಲು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಈಗ ಮುದುಕನಾದಿ, ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳತಕ್ಕ ದೇಶಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳ ಇವೆ.
Joshua was old and advanced in age, and the Lord said to him: “You have grown old, and are aged, and a very wide land remains, which has not yet been divided by lot,
2 ೨ ಅವುಗಳು ಯಾವುವೆಂದರೆ: ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಈಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶೀಹೋರ್ ಹಳ್ಳ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿರುವ ಉತ್ತರ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ಎಕ್ರೋನಿನವರೆಗಿರುವ
specifically, all of Galilee, Philistia, and all of Geshur;
3 ೩ ಗಾಜಾ, ಅಷ್ಡೋದ್, ಅಷ್ಕೆಲೋನ್, ಗತೂರು, ಎಕ್ರೋನ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಐದು ಮಂದಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯ; ಗೆಷೂರ್ಯರ ಸೀಮೆಯು,
from the muddy river, which irrigates Egypt, as far as the border of Ekron toward the north, the land of Canaan, which is divided among the rulers of Philistia: the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gathites, and the Ekronites;
4 ೪ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅವ್ವೀಯರ ದೇಶ ಚೀದೋನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಮೆಯಾರಾ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ಅಫೇಕದವರೆಗಿರುವ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರ ದೇಶವು
truly, to the south are the Hivites, all the land of Canaan, and Mearah of the Sidonians, as far as Aphek and the borders of the Amorite
5 ೫ ಗೆಬಾಲ್ಯರ ಸೀಮೆ, ಹೆರ್ಮೋನ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ತಪ್ಪಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾಲ್ಗಾದಿನಿಂದ ಹಾಮಾತಿನ ದಾರಿಯ ವರೆಗಿರುವ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರದೇಶ;
and his confines; also, the region of Lebanon toward the east, from Baalgad, under mount Hermon, until you enter into Hamath;
6 ೬ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನಿಂದ ಮಿಸ್ರೆಫೋತ್ಮಯಿಮಿನವರೆಗೂ, ಚೀದೋನ್ಯರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರ್ವತ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳು. ನಾನೇ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ನೀನಾದರೂ ನಾನು ಮೊದಲೇ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಡುವಾಗ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ ದೇಶವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ
all who live in the mountains from Lebanon, as far as the waters of Misrephoth, and all the Sidonians. I am the One who will wipe them out, before the face of the sons of Israel. Therefore, let their land become a part of the inheritance of Israel, just as I have instructed you.
And now, divide the land as a possession to the nine tribes, and to the one half tribe of Manasseh.”
8 ೮ ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದ ಉಳಿದ ಅರ್ಧಜನರಿಗೆ, ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಾದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯಿಂದ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸ್ವತ್ತು ದೊರಕಿತು. ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳು ಯಾವುವೆಂದರೆ:
With them, Reuben and Gad have possessed the land, which Moses, the servant of the Lord, delivered to them beyond the river Jordan, on the eastern side:
9 ೯ ಅರ್ನೋನಿನ ಕಣಿವೆಯ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅರೋಯೇರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅದೇ ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ, ಇವು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ದೀಬೋನಿನವರೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಮೇದೆಬದ ತಪ್ಪಲ ಸೀಮೆ;
from Aroer, which is situated on the bank of the torrent Arnon and in the midst of the valley, and all the plains of Medeba, as far as Dibon;
10 ೧೦ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನ ವಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ಮೇರೆಯ ಈಚೆಗೆ ಇದ್ದಂಥ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು; ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ಸೀಮೆ
and all the cities of Sihon, the king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, even to the borders of the sons of Ammon;
and Gilead, as well as the borders of Geshur and Maacati, and all of mount Hermon, and all of Bashan, as far as Salecah;
12 ೧೨ ಅಷ್ಟರೋತ್ ಎದ್ರೈ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ರೆಫಾಯರ ವಂಶಸ್ಥನಾದ ಓಗನ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸಲ್ಕಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ವರೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳೂ. ಮೋಶೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದು ಅವರ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನು.
the entire kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned at Ashtaroth and Edrei, (he was among the last of the Rephaim). And Moses struck and destroyed them.
13 ೧೩ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಗೆಷೂರ‍್ಯರನ್ನೂ, ಮಾಕತೀಯರನ್ನೂ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಗೆಷೂರ‍್ಯರೂ ಮಾಕತೀಯರೂ ಅವರು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
And the sons of Israel were not willing to destroy Geshur and Maacati, and so they have lived in the midst of Israel, even to the present day.
14 ೧೪ ಲೇವಿ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಯಾವ ಪಾಲು ಸಿಕ್ಕಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಆತನ ಯಜ್ಞಶೇಷವೇ ಅವರ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
But to the tribe of Levi, he did not give a possession. Instead, the sacrifices and victims of the Lord, the God of Israel, these are his inheritance, just as he spoke to him.
Therefore, Moses gave a possession to the tribe of the sons of Reuben, according to their families.
And their border was from Aroer, which is situated on the bank of the torrent Arnon, and in the midst of the valley of the same torrent, with all the flatlands that lead to Medeba;
17 ೧೭ ಮೇದೆಬದ ತಪ್ಪಲ ಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣ, ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಬೈಲಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೀಬೋನ್, ಬಾಮೋತ್ ಬಾಳ್ ಬೇತ್ಬಾಳ್ಮೆಯೋನ್,
and Heshbon, and all their villages, which are in the plains; also Dibon, and Bamothbaal, and the town of Baalmeon,
and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,
and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar on the mountain of the steep valley;
Bethpeor, and the descending slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;
21 ೨೧ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಮೀಶೋರೆಂಬ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು. ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸೀಹೋನನ್ನೂ ಎವೀ, ರೆಕೆಮ್, ಚೂರ್, ಹೂರ್, ರೆಬಾ ಎಂಬ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ಅವನ ಸರದಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdoms of Sihon, the king of the Amorites, who reigned at Heshbon, whom Moses struck down with the leaders of Midian: Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the commanders of Sihon, inhabitants of the land.
And the sons of Israel killed Balaam, the son of Beor, the seer, with the sword, along with the others who were slain.
23 ೨೩ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯು, ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರ ಪಡುವಣ ಮೇರೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಗ್ರಾಮನಗರಗಳು ಇವುಗಳೇ.
And the river Jordan was made the border of the sons of Reuben; this is the possession of the Reubenites, by their families, in cities and villages.
And Moses gave to the tribe of Gad and his sons, by their families, a possession, of which this is the division:
25 ೨೫ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನಿನ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಉಳಿದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿರುವ ಯಗ್ಜೇರ್, ಮೊದಲಾದ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು, ರಬ್ಬಾ ಊರಿನ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರೋಯೇರ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ವರೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ಅರ್ಧ ರಾಜ್ಯ,
the border of Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and one half part of the land of the sons of Ammon, as far as Aroer, which is opposite Rabbah;
26 ೨೬ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನಿಂದ ರಾಮತ್ ಮಿಚ್ಪೆ, ಬೆಟೋನೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಮಹನಯಿಮಿನಿಂದ ದೆಬೀರ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೂ ಇರುವ ಸೀಮೆ,
and from Heshbon as far as Ramath, Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim as far as the borders of Debir;
27 ೨೭ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬೇತ್‌ಹಾರಾಮ್; ಬೇತ್‌ನಿಮ್ರಾ, ಸುಕ್ಕೋತ್, ಚಾಫೋನ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು. ಕಿನ್ನೆರೆತ್ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಮೂಲೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳು.
also, in the valley Beth-haram and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the remaining part of the kingdom of Sihon, the king of Heshbon; the limit of this also is the Jordan, as far as the furthest part of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan on the eastern side.
This is the possession of the sons of Gad, by their families, in their cities and villages.
He also gave, to the one half tribe of Manasseh and to his sons, a possession according to their families,
30 ೩೦ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಯಾಯೀರನ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳೆನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅರವತ್ತು ಊರುಗಳು ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
the beginning of which is this: from Mahanaim, all of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Og, the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty towns;
31 ೩೧ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧ ಭಾಗವು ಓಗನ ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ, ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅಷ್ಟರೋತ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಎದ್ರೈ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೂ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಾಕೀರನ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಅರ್ಧ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದವು.
and one half part of Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, to the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, to one half part of the sons of Machir, according to their families.
32 ೩೨ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆ ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರ ಬಯಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
Moses divided this possession, in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan, opposite Jericho on the eastern side.
33 ೩೩ ಆದರೆ ಲೇವಿಯ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಯಾವ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಆತನೇ ಅವರ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
But to the tribe of Levi he did not give a possession. For the Lord, the God of Israel, is himself their possession, just as he spoke to him.
