ಯೋಹಾನನು 16
These things, have I spoken unto you, that ye may not be caused to stumble:
2 ೨ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕುವರು; ಅದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವವನು ತಾನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಕೊಟ್ಟೆನೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುವ ಕಾಲವು ಬರಲಿದೆ.
Excommunicants from the synagogue, will they make you; Nay! there cometh an hour, that, every one who killeth you, shall think to be rendering, divine service, unto God!
And, these things, will they do, because they got to know, neither the Father nor me.
4 ೪ ಆದರೆ ಅವರ ಕಾಲ ಬಂದಾಗ ಆತನು ನಮಗೆ ಇಂಥಿಂಥದ್ದನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬರುವಂತೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಮೊದಲು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.
But, these things, have I told you, —That, whensoever their hour shall come, ye may remember, that, thereof, I told you. These things, however, I told you not, from the beginning, because I was, with you;
5 ೫ “ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ನಾನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಾತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ. ‘ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿ?’ ಎಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
But, now, I go my way unto him that sent me, and, not one from among you, questioneth me—Whither goest thou?
But, because, these things, I have told you, sorrow, hath filled your heart.
7 ೭ ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನಾನು ಹೋಗುವುದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು, ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಹೋಗದಿದ್ದರೆಆ ಸಹಾಯಕನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಹೋದರೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
But, I, the truth, am telling you—It is profitable for you, that, I, depart; for, if I should not depart, The Advocate, would in nowise come unto you, but, if I go, I will send him unto you.
And, having come, He, will reprove the world—Concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment:
Concerning sin, indeed, because they are not believing on me;
But, concerning righteousness, because, unto the Father, I go my way, and, no longer, do ye behold me;
11 ೧೧ ಇಹಲೋಕಾಧಿಪತಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ಪಿನ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿಯೂ, ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಮನವರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವನು.
And, concerning judgment, because, the ruler of this world, hath been judged.
12 ೧೨ “ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದ ವಿಷಯಗಳು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳ ಉಂಟು, ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಈಗ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
Yet many things, have I, unto you, to be saying, —but ye cannot bear them, just now;
13 ೧೩ ಆದರೆಸತ್ಯದ ಆತ್ಮನು ಬರುವಾಗ ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಸತ್ಯದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನಡೆಸುವನು. ಆತನು ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಾನೇ ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ಕೇಳಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೇ ಆಡುವನು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವನು.
Howbeit, as soon as, he, hath come—The Spirit of truth, he will guide you into all truth; for he will not speak from himself, but, whatsoever he heareth, he will speak, and, the coming things, will he announce unto you.
He, shall glorify me; for, of mine, shall he receive, and announce unto you.
All things, whatsoever the Father hath, are, my own; therefore, said I—Of mine, shall he receive, and announce unto you.
16 ೧೬ ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಅನಂತರ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀವು ಪುನಃ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಿರಿ” ಎಂದನು.
A little while, and, no longer, ye behold me; and, again a little while, and ye shall see me.
17 ೧೭ ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು, “ಇದೇನು ಈತನು ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತು? ‘ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಅನಂತರ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀವು ಪುನಃ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ’ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾನಲ್ಲಾ” ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು
Some of his disciples, therefore, said one to another—What is this which he is saying to us: —A little while, and ye behold me not, and, again a little while, and ye shall see me; and—Because I go my way unto the Father?
18 ೧೮ “‘ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲವೆಂದು’ ಈತನು ಹೇಳುವ ಈ ಮಾತೇನು? ಏನು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೋ ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು” ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
They were saying, therefore—What is this which he saith: —A little while? We know not [what he is saying].
19 ೧೯ ಯೇಸುವು ಇದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಕಾಲವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವಿರಿ, ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನಿಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಾ?
Jesus took note, that they were wishing to question him, and said unto them—Concerning this, are ye enquiring one with another, —because I said: —A little while, and ye behold me not, and, again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
20 ೨೦ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನೀವು ಅಳುತ್ತಾ ಗೋಳಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವಿರಿ. ಆದರೆ ಲೋಕವು ಸಂತೋಷಿಸುವುದು. ನಿಮಗೆ ದುಃಖವಾಗುವುದು ಆದರೆನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಃಖವು ಹೋಗಿ ಆನಂದ ಬರುವುದು.
Verily, verily, I say unto you—Ye, shall weep and lament, but, the world, shall rejoice: Ye, shall be grieved, but, your grief, into joy, shall be turned.
21 ೨೧ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಹೆರುವಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಬೇನೆಯ ಕಾಲವು ಬಂದಿತೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಆಕೆಗೆ ದುಃಖವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಕೂಸನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತ ಮೇಲೆ, ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮಗು ಹುಟ್ಟಿತೆಂದು ಆನಂದದಿಂದ ಆ ವೇದನೆಯನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ನೆನಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
A woman, as soon as she is about to bring forth, hath, grief, because her hour hath come; but, as soon as she hath given birth to the child, no longer, remembereth she the anguish, by reason of the joy, that a human being into the world hath been born.
22 ೨೨ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ನಿಮಗೂ ಈಗ ದುಃಖವಿದ್ದರೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ನೋಡುವೆನು, ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆನಂದವಾಗುವುದು, ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆನಂದವನ್ನು ಯಾರು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ.
And, ye, therefore, now, indeed have grief; but, again, will I see you, and your heart shall rejoice, —and, your joy, no one, shall force from you.
23 ೨೩ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಏನೂ ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನಿಜನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಆತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವನು.
And, in that day, shall ye request me, nothing: —Verily, verily, I say unto you—Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father, He will give you, in my name.
24 ೨೪ ನೀವು ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೊಂದನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಆನಂದವು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ದೊರೆಯುವುದು.
Until even now, ye have asked nothing in my name: Be asking, and ye shall receive, —that, your joy, may be made full.
25 ೨೫ “ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಮ್ಯರೂಪವಾಗಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಆದರೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾಮ್ಯರೂಪವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡದೆ ತಂದೆಯ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಕಾಲವು ಬರುತ್ತದೆ.
These things, in similitudes, have I spoken unto you: There cometh an hour, when, no longer in similitudes, will I speak unto you, but, openly, concerning the Father, will I tell you.
26 ೨೬ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
In that day, In my name, shall ye ask: —and I say not that, I, will request the Father for you;
27 ೨೭ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿನಾನು ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಬಂದವನೆಂದು ನಂಬಿದ್ದರಿಂದತಂದೆಯು ತಾನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
For, the Father himself, dearly loveth you, because, ye, have dearly loved me, and believed that, I, from the Father, came forth: —
28 ೨೮ ನಾನು ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಈ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಪುನಃ ಈ ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಂದೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದನು.
I came forth out of the Father, and have come into the world, —Again, I leave the world, and go, unto the Father.
29 ೨೯ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು, “ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಈಗ ಸಾಮ್ಯರೂಪವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳದೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀ.
His disciples say—See! now, openly, art thou speaking, and, not a single similitude, art thou using:
30 ೩೦ ನೀನು ಸಮಸ್ತವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವನೆಂದೂ, ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಈಗ ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಬಂದವನೇ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ನಂಬುತ್ತೇವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
Now, we know, that thou knowest all things, and hast, no need, that one be questioning thee. Hereby, do we believe, that, from God, thou camest forth.
Jesus answered them—As yet, ye believe:
32 ೩೨ ಇಗೋ, ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಚದರಿಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬಂಟಿಗನಾಗಿ ಬಿಡುವ ಸಮಯವು ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೌದು, ಅದು ಈಗಲೇ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ಏಕಾಂಗಿಯಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ತಂದೆಯು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.
Lo! there cometh an hour, and hath come, that ye should be scattered, each, unto his own home; and, me, alone, should leave; —And yet I am not, alone, but, the Father, is, with me!
33 ೩೩ ನೀವು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಂಕಟಗಳುಂಟು. ಆದರೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿರಿ, ನಾನು ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
These things, have I spoken unto you, that, in me, ye may have, peace: In the world, ye have, tribulation; but be taking courage, —I, have overcome the world.
