2 ೨ “ನೀನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರು, ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ದ್ವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಸಕಲ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.

3 ೩ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರೂ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಿದ್ದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸುವೆನು.

5 ೫ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತಿದ್ದಿಕೊಂಡು ಕಕ್ಷಿ ಪ್ರತಿಕಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನೇ ತೀರಿಸಿರಿ.

6 ೬ ಪರದೇಶಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಅನಾಥನನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ವಿಧವೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಹಿಂಸಿಸದೆ, ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸದೆ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಾನಿಕರವಾದ ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಇಡದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ,
sojourner orphan and widow not to oppress and blood innocent not to pour: kill in/on/with place [the] this and after God another not to go: follow to/for bad: evil to/for you
7 ೭ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಾನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸುವೆನು.

9 ೯ ನೀವು ಕಳ್ಳತನ, ಕೊಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಿ, ಬಾಳನಿಗೆ ಹೋಮವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಕಂಡುಕೇಳದ ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ,
to steal to murder and to commit adultery and to swear to/for deception and to offer: offer to/for Baal and to go: follow after God another which not to know
10 ೧೦ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಈ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು, ‘ನಮಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರವಾಯಿತು’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ನಡೆಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರೋ?

11 ೧೧ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಈ ಆಲಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳ್ಳರ ಗವಿಯಾಯಿತೋ? ಆಹಾ, ನಾನೇ, ನಾನೇ ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂಬುದು ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನನ್ನ ನುಡಿ.

12 ೧೨ “ನಾನು ಮೊದಲು ನನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಶೀಲೋವಿನಲ್ಲಿನ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅಧರ್ಮದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರಿ.

13 ೧೩ ನಾನು ಸಾವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡದೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ನುಡಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕೇಳದೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರೆದ ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡದೆ ಈ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಡೆಸಿದಿರಿ.

14 ೧೪ ಆದಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನ ನಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ನೆಲೆಯಾದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭರವಸೆಗೆ ಆಧಾರವಾದ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೂ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೂ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೂ ಶೀಲೋವಿಗೆ ತಂದ ಗತಿಯನ್ನೇ ಈಗ ತರುವೆನು.

15 ೧೫ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ವಂಶದವರನ್ನು ತೊಲಗಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಸುವೆನು.

16 ೧೬ “ನೀನಂತು ಈ ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡ, ಇವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಬೇಡ, ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಬೇಡ, ನನಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲೂ ಬೇಡ, ನಾನು ಕೇಳೆನು.
and you(m. s.) not to pray about/through/for [the] people [the] this and not to lift: loud about/through/for them cry and prayer and not to fall on in/on/with me for nothing I to hear: hear [obj] you

18 ೧೮ ಗಗನದ ಒಡತಿಗೆ ಹೋಳಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸೌದೆಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ತಂದೆಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಹೆಂಗಸರು ಕಣಕವನ್ನು ನಾದುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಾನನೈವೇದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕಬೇಕೆಂದೇ ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

19 ೧೯ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಕೇಡುಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಅವಮಾನವು ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುವಷ್ಟರ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ತಮಗೇ ಕೇಡುಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರಲ್ಲಾ” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.

20 ೨೦ ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, “ಆಹಾ, ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪವೆಂಬ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಿಯಲ್ಪಡುವುದು; ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಪಶುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಕಾಡುಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಬೆಳೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಸುರಿಯುವೆನು; ಅದು ಆರದೆ ದಹಿಸುವುದು.”

21 ೨೧ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರೂ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನೀವು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಾರಣ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನಿರಿ.
thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel burnt offering your to add upon sacrifice your and to eat flesh
22 ೨೨ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮದ ಮತ್ತು ಯಜ್ಞದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಏನೂ ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾವ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

23 ೨೩ ಆದರೆ, ‘ನನ್ನ ಧ್ವನಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯಾಗಿರುವಿರಿ; ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಿತವಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ವಿಧಿಸುವ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲೇ ನಡೆಯಿರಿ’ ಎಂಬ ಈ ಒಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.

24 ೨೪ ಅವರಾದರೋ ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಸ್ವಂತ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಟಹೃದಯದ ಹಟದಂತೆ ನಡೆದು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿಯೇ ಹೋದರು, ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.

25 ೨೫ “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ದಿನ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮ್ಮವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ದಿನ ದಿನವೂ ತಡ ಮಾಡದೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

26 ೨೬ ನಿಮ್ಮವರಾದರೋ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗೆ ಮಣಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ; ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟವರಾಗಿ ನಡೆದರು.

28 ೨೮ ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ, ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಧ್ವನಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಿತರಾಗದೆ ಇರುವ ಜನಾಂಗ ಇದುವೇ, ಸತ್ಯವು ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾಗಿ ಅಳಿದುಹೋಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳು.

29 ೨೯ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಬೋಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ಬಿಸಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟು, ಬೋಳುಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶೋಕಗೀತವನ್ನು ಹಾಡು; ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೋಪಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾದ ಈ ವಂಶವನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿ ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
to shear consecration: hair your and to throw and to lift: raise upon bareness dirge for to reject LORD and to leave [obj] generation fury his
30 ೩೦ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ನನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೇ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಖ್ಯಾತಿಗೊಂಡ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

31 ೩೧ ಅವರು ಗಂಡು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಆಹುತಿಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆನ್ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮ್ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿನ ‘ತೋಫೆತ್’ ಎಂಬ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ಆ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

32 ೩೨ ಆಹಾ, ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೋಫೆತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆನ್ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮಿನ ತಗ್ಗು ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು ಹೋಗಿ ‘ಸಂಹಾರದ ತಗ್ಗು’ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಾಗುವ ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವು; ಇನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸ್ಥಳವಿಲ್ಲವಾಗಿ ಶವಗಳನ್ನು ತೋಫೆತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣುವರು.

33 ೩೩ ಈ ಜನರ ಹೆಣಗಳು ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಹಾಗು ಭೂಜಂತುಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಹಾರವಾಗುವವು; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆದರಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
and to be carcass [the] people [the] this to/for food to/for bird [the] heaven and to/for animal [the] land: country/planet and nothing to tremble
34 ೩೪ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹರ್ಷಸಂಭ್ರಮಗಳ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನೂ, ವಧೂವರರ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು, ದೇಶವು ಹಾಳೇ ಹಾಳಾಗುವುದು” ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.
and to cease from city Judah and from outside Jerusalem voice rejoicing and voice joy voice son-in-law and voice daughter-in-law: bride for to/for desolation to be [the] land: country/planet
