ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು 49
1 ೧ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಬಾಧ್ಯನು ಇಲ್ಲವೋ? ಮಲ್ಕಾಮ್ ದೇವತೆಯು ಗಾದಿನ ಸೀಮೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದೇಕೆ? ಮಲ್ಕಾಮನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ಗಾದಿನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕೆ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ?
Of the children of Ammon. Thus saith the LORD: Hath Israel no sons? hath he no heir? why then doth Malcam possess Gad, and his people dwell in the cities thereof?
2 ೨ ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ರಬ್ಬಾ ಎಂಬ ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು, ಯುದ್ಧ ಘೋಷಿಸುವ ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವು; ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಹಾಳುದಿಬ್ಬವಾಗುವುದು; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುವವು; ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ವಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವರನ್ನು ತಾನು ವಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು. ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.”
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard against Rabbah of the children of Ammon; and it shall become a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel possess them that did possess him, saith the LORD.
3 ೩ “ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನವರೇ, ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ; ‘ಆಯಿ’ ಎಂಬ ಊರು ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು, ರಬ್ಬಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳವರೇ, ಕಿರಿಚಿರಿ, ಗೋಣಿತಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸಿರಿ, ಹಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ತಿತ್ತ ಓಡಾಡಿರಿ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮಲ್ಕಾಮ್ ದೇವತೆಯು, ಅದರ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವರು.
Howl, O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled; cry, ye daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth: lament, and run to and fro among the fences; for Malcam shall go into captivity, his priests and his princes together.
4 ೪ ‘ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾರು ತಾನೆ ಬಿದ್ದಾರು?’ ಎಂದು ಸ್ವಂತ ಆಸ್ತಿಪಾಸ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟದೇಶವೇ, ‘ನನ್ನ ತಗ್ಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಾ ನೀರು ಹರಿಯುತ್ತದೆಂದು’ ಏಕೆ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀ?
Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, [saying], Who shall come unto me?
5 ೫ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಭಯಾಸ್ಪದರಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು, ನಿನ್ನವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ನಿಂತಮುಖವಾಗಿಯೇ ಅಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಡುವನು; ಚದುರಿದವರನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟು ಸೇರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಾಗುವುದು.
Behold, I will bring a fear upon thee, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, from all that are round about thee; and ye shall be driven out every man right forth, and there shall be none to gather up him that wandereth.
But afterward I will bring again the captivity of the children of Ammon, saith the LORD.
7 ೭ ಎದೋಮನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ತೇಮಾನ್ ಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯು ಇನ್ನಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ವಿವೇಕಿಗಳ ಆಲೋಚನಾಶಕ್ತಿಯು ಅಳಿಯಿತೋ? ಅವರ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಮಾಯವಾಯಿತೋ?
Of Edom. Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?
8 ೮ ದೆದಾನಿನವರೇ, ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿರಿ, ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಒಳಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿರಿ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಎದೋಮನ್ನು ದಂಡಿಸುವ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಸಾವನಿಗೆ ವಿಧಿಸಿದ ಆಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು.
Flee ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I shall visit him.
9 ೯ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಕೀಳುವವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಹಕ್ಕಲನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಕಳ್ಳರು ರಾತ್ರಿವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನುಗ್ಗಿದರೆ ತಮಗೆ ಸಾಕಾಗುವವರೆಗೂ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುವರು.
If grapegatherers came to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, would they not destroy till they had enough?
10 ೧೦ ನಾನೇ ಏಸಾವನ ಆಸರೆಯನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಅವನ ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಬಟ್ಟಬಯಲುಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರನು; ಅವನ ಸಂತಾನದವರೂ, ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಮತ್ತು ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರೂ ಹಾಳಾದರು, ಅವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲವಾದನು.
But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.
Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let thy widows trust in me.
12 ೧೨ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವುದು ಯಾರ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ, ಅವರೇ ಖಂಡಿತ ಕುಡಿಯಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೀಯಾ? ಆಗುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ನೀನು ಕುಡಿದೇ ಕುಡಿಯುವಿ.
For thus saith the LORD: Behold, they to whom it pertained not to drink of the cup shall assuredly drink; and art thou he that shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink.
13 ೧೩ ಬೊಚ್ರವು ಹಾಳುಬಿದ್ದು ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ, ನಿಂದೆಗೂ ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೂ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಊರುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿತ್ಯನಾಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವವು ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.”
For I have sworn by myself, saith the LORD, that Bozrah shall become an astonishment, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.
14 ೧೪ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ದೂತನ ಮೂಲಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ, “ನೀವು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಎದೋಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಿರಿ.
I have heard tidings from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the nations, [saying], Gather yourselves together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.
For, behold, I have made thee small among the nations, and despised among men.
16 ೧೬ ಆಹಾ, ನಿನ್ನ ಭೀಕರತ್ವವೆಲ್ಲಿ! ಪರ್ವತಾಗ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡು ಬಂಡೆಯ ಬಿರುಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಜನವೇ, ನಿನ್ನೆದೆಯ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ; ನೀನು ಹದ್ದಿನಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಗೂಡನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡರೂ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.”
As for thy terribleness, the pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD;
17 ೧೭ ಎದೋಮು ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವುದು; ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದ ವಿಪತ್ತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆರಗಾಗಿ ಸಿಳ್ಳುಹಾಕುವರು.
And Edom shall become an astonishment: every one that passeth by it shall he astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.
18 ೧೮ ನಾನು ಕೆಡವಿದ ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಗೊಮೋರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಸುತ್ತಣ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಎದೋಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾವ ನರಪ್ರಾಣಿಯೂ ಇಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the LORD, no man shall dwell there, neither shall any son of man sojourn therein.
19 ೧೯ ಆಹಾ, ಒಬ್ಬನು ಸಿಂಹದೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ದಟ್ಟ ಅಡವಿಯಿಂದ ಎದೋಮ್ಯರಿಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯನೆಲೆಯಾದ ಗೋಮಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಬರುವನು; ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು; ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನನ್ನೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಿಸುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಸಮಾನನು ಯಾರು? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಯಾರು ಕರೆದಾರು? ಮಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವ ಯಾರು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಬಲ್ಲರು?
Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the pride of Jordan against the strong habitation: but I will suddenly make him run away from her; and whoso is chosen, him will I appoint over her: for who is like me? and who will appoint me a time? and who is the shepherd that will stand before me?
20 ೨೦ ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎದೋಮಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಆತನು ತೇಮಾನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿರುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಆಲಿಸಿರಿ; ಮೃಗಗಳು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂಡಿನ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವವು; ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಹುಲ್ಗಾವಲು ಅವುಗಳ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೆದರುವುದು.
Therefore hear ye the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely they shall drag them away, [even] the little ones of the flock; surely he shall make their habitation desolate with them.
The earth trembleth at the noise of their fall; there is a cry, the noise whereof is heard in the Red Sea.
22 ೨೨ ಇಗೋ, ಬೊಚ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಎರಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಶತ್ರುವು ರಣಹದ್ದಿನಂತೆ ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಡಿ ಹಾರಿ ಏರುವನು; ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದೋಮಿನ ಶೂರರ ಎದೆಯು ಹೆರುವ ಹೆಂಗಸಿನ ಎದೆಯಂತೆ ಅದರುವುದು.
Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread out his wings against Bozrah: and the heart of the mighty men of Edom at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
23 ೨೩ ದಮಸ್ಕವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತದ್ದು, “ಹಮಾತಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಪಾದಿಗೂ ಆಶಾಭಂಗವಾಯಿತು; ಅವು ಅಶುಭ ಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕರಗಿ ಹೋಗಿವೆ; ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ತಲ್ಲಣ ಹತ್ತಿದೆ, ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಲಾರದು.
Of Damascus. Hamath is ashamed, and Arpad; for they have heard evil tidings, they are melted away: there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
24 ೨೪ ದಮಸ್ಕವು ಕುಂದಿದೆ, ಓಡಿಹೋಗಲು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದೆ; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಡುಕ ಹಿಡಿದಿದೆ, ಪ್ರಸವವೇದನೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಯಾತನೆ ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದೆ.
Damascus is waxed feeble, she turneth herself to flee, and trembling hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken hold of her, as of a woman in travail.
How is the city of praise not forsaken, the city of my joy?
26 ೨೬ ಅದರ ದುರ್ಗತಿಯಿಂದ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಚೌಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದುಬಿಡುವರು, ಯುದ್ಧವೀರರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಮ್ಮನಾಗುವರು.
Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be brought to silence in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.
27 ೨೭ ಆಗ ನಾನು ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಕೋಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಿಸುವೆನು, ಅದು ಬೆನ್ ಹದದನ ಅರಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.
And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.
28 ೨೮ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಹೊಡೆದ ಕೇದಾರನ್ನೂ ಹಾಚೋರಿನ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತದ್ದು. “ಏಳಿರಿ, ಕೇದಾರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ದೇಶದವರನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Of Kedar, and of the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote: Thus saith the LORD: Arise ye, go up to Kedar, and spoil the children of the east.
29 ೨೯ “ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಅವರ ಗುಡಾರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂಡುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಪಹರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಅವರ ಪರದೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಾಮಗ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಒಂಟೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು, ‘ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲು ದಿಗಿಲು’ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕೂಗುವರು.”
Their tents and their flocks shall they take; they shall carry away for themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels: and they shall cry unto them, Terror on every side.
30 ೩೦ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಹಾಚೋರಿನವರೇ, ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ, ದೂರ ಅಲೆದಾಡಿರಿ, ಒಳಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿರಿ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಬಗೆದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಉಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Flee ye, wander far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you.
31 ೩೧ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನವರೇ, ಏಳಿರಿ. ಅಗುಳಿಯೂ, ಬಾಗಿಲೂ ಬೇಕೆನ್ನದೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಭಯವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಜನಾಂಗದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಿರಿ!
Arise, get you up unto a nation that is at ease, that dwelleth without care, saith the LORD; which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone.
32 ೩೨ ಅವರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಾಗುವವು, ಅವರ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದ ದನಕುರಿಗಳು ಸೂರೆಹೋಗುವವು; ಚಂಡಿಕೆಬಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯ ಗಾಳಿಗೂ ತೂರುವೆನು; ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ವಿಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು.
And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter unto all winds them that have the corners [of their hair] polled; and I will bring their calamity from every side of them, saith the LORD.
33 ೩೩ ಆಗ ಹಾಚೋರು ಸದಾ ಹಾಳುಬಿದ್ದು ನರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಕ್ಕೆಯಾಗುವುದು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಿಸರು, ಯಾವ ನರಮನುಷ್ಯನೂ ಇಳುಕೊಳ್ಳನು, ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ.”
And Hazor shall be a dwelling place of jackals, a desolation for ever: no man shall dwell there, neither shall any son of man sojourn therein.
34 ೩೪ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಏಲಾಮಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನಿಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು.
The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,
Thus saith the LORD of hosts: Behold, I will break the bow of Elam; the chief of their might.
36 ೩೬ ನಾನು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಗಾಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಏಲಾಮ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಯಾ ಗಾಳಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತೂರಿಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಏಲಾಮು ದೇಶಭ್ರಷ್ಟರಾದವರನ್ನು ಸೇರದೆ ಇರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯವೇ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.
37 ೩೭ ಏಲಾಮ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಹುಡುಕುವ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ಕಂಗೆಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯ ವಿಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ; ಅವರು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾಗುವ ತನಕ ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟುವೆನು;
And I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:
and I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence king and princes, saith the LORD.
But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, saith the LORD.
