ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು 44
1 ೧ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಮಿಗ್ದೋಲ್, ತಹಪನೇಸ್, ನೋಫ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಪತ್ರೋಸ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನಿಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯ,
The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews who dwelt in the land of Egypt, who dwelt at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,
2 ೨ “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರೂ, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಊರುಗಳಿಗೂ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ನೀವು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಷ್ಟೆ.
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and behold they are, this day, a waste, and no man dwelleth therein,
3 ೩ ಆಹಾ, ಅಲ್ಲಿನವರು ತಮಗೂ, ನಿಮಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಯದ ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತುರಪಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕಬೇಕೆಂದೇ ಈ ದುರಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಹಾಳಾದವು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಿಸರು.
because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense to serve other gods which they knew not, they, [nor] ye, nor your fathers.
4 ೪ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಡ ಮಾಡದೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ‘ಆಹಾ! ನಾನು ಹೇಸುವ ಈ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ’ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದರೂ,
And I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing which I hate!
5 ೫ ಅವರು ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಹಾಕುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ತಮ್ಮ ದುರಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.
6 ೬ ಆದಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯು ಸುರಿದು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಧಗಧಗಿಸಿತು; ಅವು ಈಗಲೂ ಹಾಳು ಪಾಳಾಗಿವೆ.
And my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are become a waste, a desolation, as at this day.
7 ೭ ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರಸ್ವಾಮಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಈಗ ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ನೀವೇ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೇಕೆ? ಈ ದುರಾಚಾರದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗಂಡಸರು, ಹೆಂಗಸರು, ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಮೊಲೆಕೂಸುಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾಗುವರು, ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಉಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
And now thus saith Jehovah the God of hosts, the God of Israel: Wherefore commit ye great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, infant and suckling, out of the midst of Judah, to leave you no remnant;
8 ೮ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗಳಾಗಿ ನೀವು ಬಂದಿರುವ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಹಾಕುವ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕುವುದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲರಾಗಿ ಸಕಲ ಭೂರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ಶಾಪ ಮತ್ತು ದೂಷಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವಿರಿ.
provoking me to anger with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, whither ye are come to sojourn, that ye should be cut off, and that ye should be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?
9 ೯ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸರು, ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರು, ನೀವು ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರು ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಡೆಸಿದ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿರೋ?
Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
10 ೧೦ ಅವರು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ತಗ್ಗಲಿಲ್ಲ, ನನಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರಿಗೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ನಿಯಮನಿಷ್ಠೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
They are not humbled unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes which I set before you and before your fathers.
11 ೧೧ “ಆದಕಾರಣ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರೂ, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನು ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಆಹಾ, ಯೆಹೂದವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡುವೆನು, ಕೇಡಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಡುವೆನು.
Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.
12 ೧೨ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಸಲು ಹಟಹಿಡಿದ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಉಳಿದ ಜನರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಹಿಡಿದು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲೇ ಒರಗಿ ಹೋಗುವರು; ಖಡ್ಗ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಷಾಮಗಳಿಂದ ನಾಶವಾಗುವರು; ಚಿಕ್ಕವರು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ದೊಡ್ಡವರ ತನಕ ಖಡ್ಗ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಷಾಮಗಳಿಂದ ಸತ್ತು ಅಪವಾದ, ಶಾಪ, ನಿಂದೆಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ದೂಷಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವರು.
And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to enter into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed: in the land of Egypt shall they fall; they shall be consumed by the sword [and] by the famine, from the least even unto the greatest; they shall die by the sword and by the famine, and they shall be an execration, an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.
13 ೧೩ ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗ, ಕ್ಷಾಮ ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳಿಂದ ದಂಡಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರನ್ನೂ ದಂಡಿಸುವೆನು.
And I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence;
14 ೧೪ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಉಳಿದ ಜನರು ಸ್ವದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಆಶಿಸಿದರೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಉಳಿದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಓಡಿಬರುವ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನರೇ ಹೊರತು ಯಾರೂ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
and none of the remnant of Judah, that have come into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, so as to return into the land of Judah, whither they have a desire to return to dwell there; for none shall return but such as shall escape.
15 ೧೫ “ಆಗ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರು ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಗಂಡಸರು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಹೆಂಗಸರು ಅಂತು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಪತ್ರೋಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನಿಗೆ” ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು,
Then all the men who knew that their wives burned incense to other gods, and all the women who stood by, a great assemblage, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,
[As for] the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of Jehovah, we will not hearken unto thee,
17 ೧೭ ಗಗನದ ಒಡತಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿ ಪಾನನೈವೇದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಬಾಯಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವೆವು. ಮೊದಲು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೂ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಅರಸರೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಾವು ಯಾವ ಕೇಡನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣದೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆತುಂಬಾ ಉಂಡು ಸುಖಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು.
but we will certainly do every word that is gone forth out of our mouth, to burn incense to the queen of the heavens, and to pour out drink-offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and we had plenty of bread, and were well, and saw no evil.
18 ೧೮ ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಗಗನದ ಒಡತಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಹಾಕುವುದನ್ನೂ ಪಾನವನ್ನು ನೈವೇದ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸುರಿಯುವುದನ್ನೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಂದಿನಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊರತೆಗೂ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿ ಖಡ್ಗ, ಕ್ಷಾಮಗಳಿಂದ ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
But since we left off burning incense to the queen of the heavens, and pouring out drink-offerings to her, we have wanted everything, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.
19 ೧೯ ಗಗನದ ಒಡತಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿ ಪಾನನೈವೇದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಾವು ಆಕೆಯ ಪೂಜೆಗಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಆಕಾರವಾದ ಹೋಳಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಪಾನದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?” ಎಂದರು.
And when we burned incense to the queen of the heavens and poured out drink-offerings to her, did we make for her cakes to portray her, and pour out drink-offerings to her, without our husbands?
And Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women, and to all the people that had given him that answer, saying,
21 ೨೧ “ನೀವು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅರಸರು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು, ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರು, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ ಧೂಪವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ನೆನಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೋ, ಅದು ಆತನ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
Is it not the incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye and your fathers, your kings and your princes and the people of the land, that Jehovah remembered, and that came into his mind?
22 ೨೨ ನೀವು ನಡೆಸಿದ ದುರಾಚಾರಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಸಹ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದುದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವು ಹಾಳುಬಿದ್ದು ಜನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾಶಕ್ಕೂ, ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೂ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಯಿತು; ಈಗಲೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇದೆ.
And Jehovah could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, [and] because of the abominations that ye had committed; and your land is become a waste, and an astonishment, and a curse, without inhabitant, as at this day.
23 ೨೩ ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಆತನ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನೂ, ನಿಬಂಧನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅನುಸರಿಸದೆ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡಿ ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಇಂಥಾ ಕೇಡು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ” ಎಂದನು.
Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against Jehovah, and have not hearkened unto the voice of Jehovah, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil hath come upon you, as at this day.
24 ೨೪ ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು ಹೆಂಗಸರಿಗೂ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು, “ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೇ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.
And Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear ye the word of Jehovah, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt.
25 ೨೫ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರೂ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಗಗನದ ಒಡತಿಗೆ ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿ ಪಾನನೈವೇದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಯುವೆವು ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಹರಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ತೀರಿಸುವೆವು ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ನೀವೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರೂ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಮಾಡಿ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹರಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ತೀರಿಸಿರಿ, ನೆರವೇರಿಸೇ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿರಿ!
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hands, saying, We will certainly perform our vows which we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of the heavens, and to pour out drink-offerings unto her. Ye will certainly establish your vows, and entirely perform your vows.
26 ೨೬ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೇ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಂತೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, ‘ಆಹಾ, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ ಎಂದು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಎತ್ತಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನೂ ಇನ್ನು ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಮಹಾನಾಮದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Therefore hear ye the word of Jehovah, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt: Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith Jehovah, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, [As] the Lord Jehovah liveth.
27 ೨೭ ಇಗೋ, ಇವರಿಗೆ ಮೇಲನ್ನಲ್ಲ, ಕೇಡನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಎಚ್ಚರಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಖಡ್ಗ, ಕ್ಷಾಮಗಳಿಂದ ನಾಶಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾ ನಿರ್ನಾಮವಾಗುವರು.
Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good; and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.
28 ೨೮ ಖಡ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ಆಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವರು; ಆಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಉಳಿದ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು ನಡೆಯುವುದೋ ಅಥವಾ ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾತು ನಡೆಯುವುದೋ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
And they that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, a very small company; and all the remnant of Judah, that have come into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose word shall stand, mine or theirs.
29 ೨೯ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಗುರುತು ಕಾಣುವುದು; ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಈಡೇರಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುವೆನು ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಅದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದುಬರುವುದು.
And this shall be the sign unto you, saith Jehovah, that I will punish you in this place, that ye may know that my words shall certainly stand against you for evil:
30 ೩೦ ಅದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ಇಗೋ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶತ್ರುವಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನೆಂಬ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹ ಹೊಫ್ರನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಹುಡುಕುವ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು; ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನನ್ನ ನುಡಿ’” ಎಂಬುದೇ.
thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will give Pharaoh-Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.
