ಯೆಶಾಯನು 65
1 ೧ “ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದವರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನನಾಗಿದ್ದೆನು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕದವರಿಗೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆನು, ನನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸದ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೂ, ‘ಇಗೋ, ನಾನಿದ್ದೇನೆ! ನಾನಿದ್ದೇನೆ’ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.
I have let myself be consulted by them who had not asked, I have suffered myself to be found by them who had not sought me, —I have said, Here I am! Here I am! Unto a nation that had not been called by my name,
I have spread out my hands all the day, Unto a rebellious people, —Who walk In the way that is not good, After their own devices.
3 ೩ ಈ ಜನರು ವನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ಇಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಧೂಪಹಾಕುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕೆಣಕುತ್ತಾರೆ.
The people who are provoking me to anger to my face continually, —Sacrificing in gardens, and Burning incense upon bricks;
4 ೪ ಗೋರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ, ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಾ, ಹಂದಿಯ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಾ, ಅಸಹ್ಯ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳ ಸಾರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Who tarry among graves, And in the secret places, do lodge, Who eat the flesh of swine, And the broth of refuse things is in their vessels, —
5 ೫ ಅವರು, ‘ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರಬೇಡ, ನಾನು ಮಡಿವಂತನು, ನೀನು ಸೇರತಕ್ಕವನಲ್ಲ’ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ, ಅಂತು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಮುಖದೆದುರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಣಕುತ್ತಾ, ನನ್ನ ಮೂಗಿಗೆ ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹೊಗೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Who say—Draw near by thyself, Do not approach with me, For I am holier than thou! These, are A smoke in my nostrils, A fire, burning all the day.
6 ೬ ಇಗೋ, ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಶಾಸನವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೆದುರಿಗಿದೆ, ನಾನು ಮುಯ್ಯಿ ತೀರಿಸುವ ತನಕ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಲಾರೆನು; ಅದರ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಇವರ ಮಡಿಲಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವೆನು;
Lo! it is written before me, —I will not keep silence, But I have recompensed, and will recompense into their bosom:
7 ೭ ಇವರೂ ಇವರ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಧೂಪಹಾಕಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೀನೈಸಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಅಪರಾಧ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಅದರ ಅಳತೆಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಇವರ ಮಡಿಲಿಗೆ ಸುರಿಯುವೆನು” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
Your own iniquities, And the, iniquities of your fathers together, Saith Yahweh, Who have burned incense upon the mountains, And upon the hills, have reproached me, —Therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
8 ೮ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ರಸ ದೊರೆಯಬಹುದಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗೊಂಚಲನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬನು ನೋಡಿ, ‘ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಬೇಡ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿದೆ’ ಎನ್ನುವಂತೆ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದು, ಇವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು,
Thus, saith Yahweh—As, new wine, is found, in the cluster, And one saith, Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it, So, will I do for the sake of my servants, That I may not destroy the whole [nation];
9 ೯ ಯಾಕೋಬಿನಿಂದ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವೆನು, ಯೆಹೂದ ವಂಶದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಸ್ವತ್ತಿನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು, ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತರು ಆ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವರು.
Therefore will I bring forth Out of Jacob, a seed, and Out of Judah, an inheritor of my mountains, That my chosen ones may inherit it, And, my servants, dwell there;
10 ೧೦ ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಭಕ್ತಜನರ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶಾರೋನು ಹಿಂಡುಗಳಿಗೆ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲಾಗಿಯೂ, ಆಕೋರಿನ ತಗ್ಗು ದನದ ಹಕ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವವು.
Then shall, Sharon, become, a fold for flocks, And the vale of Achor for the lying down of herds, —For my people who have sought me.
11 ೧೧ ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನಾದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು, ನನ್ನ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನು ಮರೆತು, ಶುಭದಾಯಕ ದೇವತೆಗೆ ಔತಣವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿ, ಗತಿದಾಯಕ ದೇವತೆಗೆ ಮದ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೆರಸಿದ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೇ ಗತಿಯಾಗ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
But, ye are they—Who forsake Yahweh Who forget my holy mountain—Who prepare, for Fortune, a table and Who fill for Destiny, mixed wine;
12 ೧೨ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ಬೀಳುವಿರಿ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೊಲೆಗೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಬೀಳುವಿರಿ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಕೂಗಲು ನೀವು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ನೀವು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ, ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲದ್ದನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರಿ.”
Therefore will I destine you to the sword, And, ye all, to the slaughter, shall bow down. Because I called and ye answered not, I spake, and ye hearkened not, —But did that which was wicked in mine eyes, And of that wherein I delighted not, ye made choice,
13 ೧೩ ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರು ಊಟಮಾಡುವರು, ನೀವು ಹಸಿದಿರುವಿರಿ; ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರು ಕುಡಿಯುವರು, ನೀವು ದಾಹಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ; ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಗೊಳ್ಳುವರು, ನೀವು ಆಶಾಭಂಗಪಡುವಿರಿ.
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, —Lo! my servants, shall eat but, ye, shall be famished, Lo! my servants, shall drink but, ye shall be thirsty, —Lo! my servants, shall rejoice but ye, shall turn pale;
14 ೧೪ ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರು ಹೃದಯಾನಂದದಿಂದ ಹರ್ಷಧ್ವನಿಗೈಯುವರು, ನೀವೋ ಮನೋವ್ಯಥೆಯಿಂದ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟು, ಹೃದಯದ ಯಾತನೆಯಿಂದ ಗೋಳಾಡುವಿರಿ.
Lo! my servants, shall shout in triumph for mirth of heart But, ye, shall make outcry, for pain of heart, And for a breaking of spirit, shall ye howl.
15 ೧೫ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕುವನು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರು ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತಜನರು ಶಪಿಸುವ ಶಾಪದ ಮಾತಾಗಿಯೇ ಉಳಿಯುವುದು; ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
So shall ye leave your name for an oath, to my chosen ones, —So then My Lord Yahweh, will slay thee, —And his servants, will he, call by another name:
16 ೧೬ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಇನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಬೀಳದೆ ಮರೆತು ಹೋಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಸತ್ಯಸಂಧನಾದ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಣೆಯಿಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಸತ್ಯವಂತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆಯಿಡುವನು.
So that he who blesseth himself in the earth, Will bless himself in the God of faithfulness, And he who sweareth in the earth Will swear by the God of faithfulness—Because the former troubles have been forgotten, and Because they are hid from mine eyes.
17 ೧೭ “ಇಗೋ, ನೂತನ ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ನೂತನ ಭೂಮಂಡಲವನ್ನೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವೆನು; ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳರು, ಅದು ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬಾರದು.
For, behold me! Creating new heavens, and a new earth, —And the former shall not be mentioned, neither shall they come up on the heart,
18 ೧೮ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುವ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹರ್ಷಗೊಂಡು ಸದಾ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಿರಿ; ಆಹಾ, ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಅದರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಹರ್ಷಭರಿತರನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
But joy ye and exult, perpetually, in what I am about to create, —For, behold me! Creating Jerusalem an exultation and Her People a joy;
19 ೧೯ ನಾನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುವೆನು, ಅದರ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಹರ್ಷಗೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು. ರೋದನ ಶಬ್ದವೂ, ಪ್ರಲಾಪಧ್ವನಿಯೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸವು.
Therefore will I Exult in Jerusalem, and Joy in my People, —And there shall be heard in her, no more The sound of weeping, or the sound of a cry:
20 ೨೦ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನ ಮಾತ್ರ ಬದುಕತಕ್ಕ ಕೂಸಾಗಲಿ, ವೃದ್ಧನಾಗಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯುವಕನು ನೂರು ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗೆ ಸಾಯನು, ಪಾಪಿಷ್ಠನಿಗೂ ನೂರು ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗೆ ಶಾಪ ತಗಲದು.
There shall be thenceforward, no more, A suckling of a few days, or an elder Who filleth not up his days, —But, a youth a hundred years old, may die, Yea a sinner a hundred years old, shall be accursed,
21 ೨೧ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಜನರು ತಾವು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಾವೇ ವಾಸಿಸುವರು, ತಾವು ಮಾಡಿದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟಗಳ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತಾವೇ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು.
Then shall they build houses and dwell in them, —And plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them;
22 ೨೨ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬನು ವಾಸಿಸನು; ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮಾಡಿದ ತೋಟದ ಫಲವು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ವಶವಾಗದು; ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಆಯುಸ್ಸು ವೃಕ್ಷದ ಆಯುಸ್ಸಿನಂತಿರುವುದು; ನನ್ನ ಆಪ್ತರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಕೆಲಸದ ಆದಾಯವನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಅನುಭವಿಸುವರು.
They shall not build, and another, dwell, They shall not plant, and, another, eat, —For as the days of a tree, shall be the days of my people, And, the work of their own hands, shall my chosen ones, use to the full:
23 ೨೩ ಅವರು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ದುಡಿಯರು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಘೋರವ್ಯಾಧಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗರು. ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವರ ಸಂತಾನವಷ್ಟೆ; ಅವರ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಹುದಿನವಿರುವರು.
They shall not labour in vain, Nor have children for terror, —For the seed of the blessed ones of Yahweh, shall they be, And their offspring, with them.
And it shall come to pass—That before they call, I, will answer, And while yet they are speaking, I, will hear.
25 ೨೫ ತೋಳವು ಕುರಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಮೇಯುವುದು, ಸಿಂಹವು ಎತ್ತಿನಂತೆ ಹುಲ್ಲು ತಿನ್ನುವುದು, ಹಾವಿಗೆ ಧೂಳೇ ಆಹಾರವಾಗುವುದು. ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯಾರೂ ಕೇಡು ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಯಾರೂ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.
The wolf and the lamb, shall feed, in unity, And, the lion, as an ox, shall eat straw; But as for the serpent, dust, shall be his food: They shall not harm—Nor shall they destroy, In all my holy mountain, saith Yahweh.
