ಯೆಶಾಯನು 6
1 ೧ ಅರಸನಾದ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯನು ಮರಣಹೊಂದಿದ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತವಾಗಿ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಾರೂಢನಾಗಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಆತನ ವಸ್ತ್ರದ ನೆರಿಗೆಯು ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹರಡಿತ್ತು.
In the yeere of the death of King Vzziah, I saw also the Lord sitting vpon an high throne, and lifted vp, and the lower partes thereof filled the Temple.
2 ೨ ಆತನ ಸುತ್ತಲು ಸೆರಾಫಿಯರು ಇದ್ದರು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಆರಾರು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ, ಎರಡರಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು, ಎರಡರಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು, ಇನ್ನೆರಡು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹಾರುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
The Seraphims stoode vpon it: euery one had sixe wings: with twaine he couered his face, and with twaine hee couered his feete, and with twaine he did flie.
3 ೩ ಆಗ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ, “ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನು, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನು, ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನು, ಭೂಮಂಡಲವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆತನ ಪ್ರಭಾವದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
And one cryed to another, and sayde, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hostes: the whole world is full of his glory.
And the lintles of the doore cheekes moued at the voyce of him that cryed, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 ೫ ಆಗ ನಾನು, “ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನನ್ನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ ನಾಶವಾದೆನಲ್ಲಾ! ನಾನು ಹೊಲಸು ತುಟಿಯವನು. ಹೊಲಸು ತುಟಿಯವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವನು. ಇಂಥ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ರಾಜಾಧಿರಾಜನನ್ನು, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆವಲ್ಲಾ!” ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು,
Then I sayd, Wo is me: for I am vndone, because I am a man of polluted lips, and I dwell in the middes of a people of polluted lips: for mine eyes haue seene the King and Lord of hostes.
6 ೬ ಆಗ ಸೆರಾಫಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯಿಂದ ತಾನು ಉರಿಯುವ ಕೆಂಡವನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹಾರಿ ಬಂದು,
Then flewe one of the Seraphims vnto me with an hote cole in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with the tongs:
7 ೭ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, “ಇಗೋ, ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಗಲಿತು. ನಿನ್ನ ದೋಷವು ನೀಗಿತು. ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವಾಯಿತು” ಎಂದನು.
And he touched my mouth, and sayd, Loe, this hath touched thy lips, and thine iniquitie shall be taken away, and thy sinne shalbe purged.
8 ೮ ಆಗ, “ಯಾರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಿ? ಯಾರು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹೋಗುವನು?” ಎಂಬ ಕರ್ತನ ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, “ಇಗೋ, ನಾನಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸು” ಎಂದೆನು.
Also I heard the voyce of the Lord, saying, Whome shall I send? and who shall goe for vs? Then I sayd, Here am I, send me.
9 ೯ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು, “ನೀನು ಈ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ನೀವು ಕಿವಿಯಾರೆ ಕೇಳಿದರೂ ತಿಳಿಯಬಾರದು, ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡರೂ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿ,
And he sayd, Goe, and say vnto this people, Ye shall heare in deede, but ye shall not vnderstand: ye shall plainely see, and not perceiue.
10 ೧೦ ಕಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ನೋಡದಂತೆಯೂ, ಕಿವಿಯಿಂದ ಕೇಳದಂತೆಯೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದದಂತೆ ಈ ಜನರ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂದಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಅಂಟು ಬಳಿ” ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.
Make the heart of this people fatte, make their eares heauie, and shut their eyes, lest they see with their eyes, and heare with their eares, and vnderstand with their hearts, and conuert, and he heale them.
11 ೧೧ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು, “ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಇದು ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ಜನರನ್ನು ದೂರ ತೊಲಗಿಸಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಶ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಮನೆಗಳು ಜನರಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ದೇಶವು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಹಾಳಾಗುವವರೆಗೂ ಇದೇ ರೀತಿ ಇರುವುದು.
Then sayd I, Lord, howe long? And he answered, Vntill the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be vtterly desolate,
And the Lord haue remoued men farre away, and there be a great desolation in the mids of the land.
13 ೧೩ ಆಗ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಅದೂ ಸಹ ನಾಶವಾಗುವುದು. ಏಲಾ ಮರವನ್ನಾಗಲೀ, ಅಲ್ಲೋನ್ ಮರವನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಕಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಉಳಿಯುವುದು ಬುಡ ಮಾತ್ರ” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
But yet in it shalbe a tenth, and shall returne, and shalbe eaten vp as an elme or an oke, which haue a substance in them, when they cast their leaues: so the holy seede shall be the substance thereof.
