ಯೆಶಾಯನು 33
1 ೧ ಸೂರೆಯಾಗದಿದ್ದರೂ ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಿದಿ! ಬಾಧೆಪಡದಿದ್ದರೂ ಬಾಧಿಸಿದಿ! ನಿನ್ನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ; ನೀನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀನೂ ಸೂರೆಯಾಗುವಿ. ಬಾಧಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಬಾಧಿಸುವರು.
Woe to thee who destroys, and thou were not destroyed, and deal treacherously, and they did not deal treacherously with thee! When thou have ceased to destroy, thou shall be destroyed, and when thou have made an end of dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
2 ೨ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸು! ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೇ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಪ್ರತಿಮುಂಜಾನೆಯೂ ನಮಗೆ ಭುಜಬಲವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರು.
O Jehovah, be gracious to us, we have waited for thee. Be thou our arm every morning, also our salvation in the time of trouble.
At the noise of the tumult the peoples have fled. At the lifting up of thyself the nations are scattered.
4 ೪ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯು ಮಿಡತೆಗಳು ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವುದು, ಮಿಡತೆಗಳು ಓಡಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಓಡಾಡುವರು.
And your spoil shall be gathered as the caterpillar gathers. As locusts leap, men shall leap upon it.
5 ೫ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ಮೇಲಣ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಚೀಯೋನನ್ನು ನೀತಿನ್ಯಾಯಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
Jehovah is exalted, for he dwells on high. He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
6 ೬ ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ, ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಯೂ, ರಕ್ಷಣಾಕಾರ್ಯದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥೈರ್ಯವಿರುವುದು; ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮೇಲಣ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯು ನಿನಗೆ ನಿಧಿಯಾಗುವುದು.
And there shall be stability in thy times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of Jehovah is thy treasure.
Behold, their valiant ones cry outside. The ambassadors of peace weep bitterly.
8 ೮ ರಾಜಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗಿವೆ. ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವವರು ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಶತ್ರುವು ಒಪ್ಪಂದವನ್ನು ಮೀರಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತಾರನು.
The highways lie waste. The wayfaring man ceases. The enemy has broken the covenant. He has despised the cities. He does not regard man.
9 ೯ ದೇಶವು ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸಿ ಕುಗ್ಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಲೆಬನೋನ್ ನಾಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಣಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಶಾರೋನ್ ಬೆಂಗಾಡಾಗಿದೆ, ಬಾಷಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಎಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉದುರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿವೆ.
The land mourns and languishes. Lebanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.
10 ೧೦ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ, “ನಾನು ಈಗ ಏಳುವೆನು, ಈಗಲೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು, ಈಗ ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತನಾಗುವೆನು.
Now I will arise, says Jehovah. Now I will lift up myself. Now I will be exalted.
Ye shall conceive chaff. Ye shall bring forth stubble. Your breath is a fire that shall devour you.
And the peoples shall be as the burnings of lime, as thorns cut down that are burned in the fire.
Hear, ye who are far off, what I have done, and ye who are near, acknowledge my might.
14 ೧೪ “ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪಾಪಿಗಳು ಹೆದರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟರು ನಡುಕಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿ, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ನುಂಗುವ ಅಗ್ನಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾಸಿಸಬಲ್ಲರು? ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಸದಾ ಉರಿಯುವ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಗಳೊಡನೆ ತಂಗುವರು” ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
The sinners in Zion are afraid. Trembling has seized the profane. Who among us can dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us can dwell with everlasting burnings?
15 ೧೫ ಸನ್ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು, ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನುಡಿದು, ದೋಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಲಾಭ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು, ಲಂಚಮುಟ್ಟದಂತೆ ಕೈ ಒದರಿ, ಕೊಲೆಯ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ, ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡದಂತೆ ಕಣ್ಣು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನೇ ಉನ್ನತಸನ್ನಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವನು.
He who walks righteously, and speaks uprightly. He who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes away his hands from taking a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking upon evil.
He shall dwell on high. His place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks. His bread shall be given. His waters shall be sure.
17 ೧೭ ನೀವು ಭೂಷಿತ ರಾಜನನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ. ಅತಿವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ಸ್ವದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಣ್ಣು ತುಂಬಾ ನೋಡುವಿರಿ.
Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty. They shall behold a land that reaches afar.
18 ೧೮ ಆಗ ನೀವು ಹಿಂದಿನ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ, “ಕಪ್ಪವನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿದವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ತೂಕಮಾಡಿದವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? ಗೋಪುರಗಳನ್ನು ಎಣಿಸಿದವನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ?” ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿರಿ.
Thy heart shall muse on the terror. Where is he who counted? Where is he who weighed the tribute? Where is he who counted the towers?
19 ೧೯ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದ ಅನ್ಯಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನೂ, ನೀವು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾರದ ತೊದಲು ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಡುವ ಆ ಕ್ರೂರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
Thou shall not see the fierce people, a people of a deep speech that thou cannot comprehend, of a strange tongue that thou cannot understand.
20 ೨೦ ನಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ಸವಗಳು ನಡೆಯುವ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿರಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ನಿವಾಸವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಗೂಟಕೀಳದ, ಹಗ್ಗಹರಿಯದ ಒಂದೇ ಕಡೆ ಇರುವ ಗುಡಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಾಣುವಿರಿ.
Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities. Thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tent that shall not be removed. The stakes of which shall never be plucked up, nor shall any of the cords of it be broken.
21 ೨೧ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಘನಹೊಂದಿದವನಾಗಿ ನದಿಸರೋವರಗಳಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗಿರುವನು. ಹುಟ್ಟುಗೋಲಿನ ದೋಣಿಯಾಗಲಿ, ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಡಗಾಗಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ದಾಟುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
But Jehovah will be with us there in majesty. A place of broad rivers and streams, in which shall go no galley with oars, nor shall a gallant ship pass thereby.
22 ೨೨ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞೆಕೊಡುವಾತನು, ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜನು, ಆತನೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು.
For Jehovah is our judge. Jehovah is our lawgiver. Jehovah is our king, he will save us.
23 ೨೩ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಗ್ಗಗಳು ಸಡಿಲವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತಂಭದ ಪಾದವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರದೆ ಹೋದವು, ಹಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಮುದುರದಂತೆ ಹಿಡಿದಿರಲಿಕ್ಕೂ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಗ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೂರೆಯು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಾಗಿ ಹಂಚುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸ್ಪದವಾಯಿತು. ಕುಂಟರೂ ಸುಲಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
Thy tacklings are loosed. They could not strengthen the foot of their mast. They could not spread the sail. Then the prey of a great spoil was divided. The lame took the prey.
And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick. The people who dwell in it shall be forgiven their iniquity.
