2 ೨ ಕೋಲಾಹಲದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೇ, ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೇ; ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹತರಾದವರು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಾಯಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವರು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತವರಲ್ಲ.

3 ೩ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಾರರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ದೂರದಿಂದ ಓಡುತ್ತಾ ಶತ್ರುವಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟುಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

4 ೪ ಹೀಗಿರಲು, “ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿರಿ, ಬಹು ಸಂಕಟದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅಳುವೆನು, ನನ್ನ ಜನವೆಂಬ ಯುವತಿಯು ಹಾಳಾದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತವಕಗೊಳ್ಳದಿರಿ.

5 ೫ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ದಿವ್ಯದರ್ಶನದ ಕಣಿವೆಗೆ ಗಲಿಬಿಲಿಯ ದಿನ, ತುಳಿದಾಟದ ದಿನ, ಭ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ದಿನ, ಕೋಟೆಯು ಒಡೆದು ಹೋಗಲು, ಕೂಗು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವ ದಿನ ಬಂದಿದೆ.

8 ೮ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಮುಸುಕನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ (ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ) ತೋಪು ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಆಯುಧಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಹಾಕಿದಿರಿ.

11 ೧೧ ಎರಡು ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಹಳೆಯ ಕೊಳದ ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಆದರೆ ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಡೆಸಿದಾತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ನೀವು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಡಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಪುರಾತನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದಾತನನ್ನು ನೀವು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

12 ೧೨ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನು, ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು. ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಸಿ, ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ, ತಲೆಬೋಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಗೋಣಿತಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಎಂಬುದೇ.

13 ೧೩ ಆದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ, ಹರ್ಷ, ಕುರಿದನಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯುವುದು, ಮಾಂಸ ತಿನ್ನುವುದು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ಕುಡಿಯುವುದು, ನಾಳೆ ಸಾಯುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ಇಂದು ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯ.

14 ೧೪ ಹೀಗಿರಲು, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ನೀವು ಸಾಯುವ ತನಕ ಈ ಅಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವು ಇಲ್ಲವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ನಾನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ” ಎಂಬುದೇ.

15 ೧೫ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೆಂಬ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ, “ಹೋಗು, ಅರಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನಾದ ಶೆಬ್ನನೆಂಬ ಈ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,

16 ೧೬ ‘ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೇನು ಕೆಲಸ? ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ತೋಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ನೀನು ಯಾರು? ಉನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊರೆಸುತ್ತಾ, ಬಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿಸಿ, ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ತೋಡಿಸಿದಿ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ?’”

17 ೧೭ ಇಗೋ, ಬಲಿಷ್ಠ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಾದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಎಸೆಯುವನು, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಎಸೆಯುವನು, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವನು.

18 ೧೮ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೆಂಡಿನಂತೆ ಸುತ್ತಿ ಸುತ್ತಿ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿಸಾಡುವನು; ದಣಿಯ ಮನೆಗೆ ಅವಮಾನ ತಂದವನೇ, ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಸಾಯುವಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ವೈಭವದ ರಥಗಳು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇರುವವು.

21 ೨೧ ನಿನ್ನ ನಿಲುವಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತೊಡಿಸಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು; ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೂ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನೆತನದವರಿಗೂ ತಂದೆಯಾಗುವನು.

22 ೨೨ ನಾನು ದಾವೀದನ ಮನೆಯ ಬೀಗದ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಗೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು; ಅವನು ತೆರೆದರೆ ಯಾರೂ ಮುಚ್ಚರು, ಮುಚ್ಚಿದರೆ ಯಾರೂ ತೆರೆಯರು.

23 ೨೩ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊಳೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ವೈಭವವುಳ್ಳ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವಾಗಿರುವನು.

24 ೨೪ ಬಟ್ಟಲು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಕೊಡದ ತನಕ ಸಕಲ ಸಾಧಾರಣ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ತಂದೆಯ ಸಂತಾನ, ಸಂತತಿಯಾದ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯ ವೈಭವವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಹಿಸುವರು” ಎಂಬುದೇ.

25 ೨೫ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. “ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಡೆದ ಮೊಳೆಯು ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಸಿದು ಹೋಗುವುದು; ಅದು ಬಡಿಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಬೀಳಲಾಗಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದ ಭಾರವೂ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುವುದು ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ” ಎಂಬುದೇ.
